00:00I don't understand on opening day, off a 94-win season without Garrett Cole,
00:07and that's a key part of that to me, that anybody would wake up today
00:11and try to find some type of negative stance on the Yankees.
00:17Now look, I understand the Yankees are a different animal.
00:19They're expected to be in the World Series and win the World Series every year,
00:23and it's the longest drought we've had in most of our lifetimes
00:25without a World Series championship, 17 years now, right?
00:29But to me, then you lose the romanticism of what opening day used to be for us.
00:35And we all grew up with it.
00:37Opening day, and again, it's changed a lot, obviously, the money involved
00:41and the corporate aspect of it and the fact that it's a standalone night game, not a day game.
00:46There aren't seven other games that have already started that we'd be saying,
00:49hey, the Tigers just did this, all the Cubs did that, like we always do on opening day.
00:53So I respect the fact that we are different, sports is different,
00:58and I get that, but you won 94 games last year without your ace.
01:05How could you possibly wake up today going,
01:08I don't know, I don't know what we're going to do this year.
01:12Can't really get myself excited about it.
01:15Like, you know, check your pulse, dude.
01:18Like, I'm pumped.
01:19Yeah.
01:20Yeah.
01:20I'm beyond pumped.
01:21I even took the Excite Gummy today, which I normally don't do before a show.
