00:00Come on now. Co-mingling with employees. Go out for a night on the town. Have some fun. The only
00:05issue sometimes for the Boston Celtics, you don't want to co-mingle too much because why? They had
00:09an issue with their head coach and somebody in the front office and it ended up with coach leaving
00:14and getting suspended. You know the drill at that point, but it's not what we're talking about here.
00:18How about this one? Going out with an employee, Derek White and also Joe Mazzulla. Watch a little
00:24bit of wrestling here. What's the issue? Let's see what this is about. It's not really common for
00:29like in most workplaces for the boss to go out with like one of their employees and enjoy a night
00:33out like that. Not only that. I don't consider Derek an employee with all due respect. I think
00:39it's not how we operate. I think it's more about just relationships and the people that you have.
00:44Not to cut you off, but I just don't look at it that way and I don't consider myself in
00:48that
00:48situation. It was more we're in this together. We're an organization and my family is a part of
00:53that organization. Other coaches, assistant coaches are a part of that family and anytime we can do
00:58stuff together, I think it's important to try and do that. So it was more about that,
01:02but I didn't mean to cut you off on that. Yeah. I mean, come on. Basically,
01:06they're the same age anyway. Like Wick Roastback used to own the Boston Celtics. Hey,
01:10why is Wick out there with Derek White at a wrestling event? Wouldn't look a little bit
01:13interesting, but stop it, man. They're probably friends as it is. They went out and hung out and
01:17people are like, hey, you can't do that here. That's an HR violation.
01:21Yeah. I love the way he apologizes though. Like he, you know, with the whole like,
01:25oh, I didn't mean to cut you off. Yes, you did. You absolutely meant to cut him off because it's
01:29a stupid question. The NBA is a player's league. If there's any boss versus employee relationship
01:36there, it's Derek White being the boss and Missoula is going to be the employee. Who are you
01:43kidding me? This, the NBA is all about the players. The players run the show. They're not the coaches
01:50and who cares? I mean, listen, Donnie, how many times have you gone out with the, with the boss
01:57or the manager or the, you know, the, uh, the program director? Yeah, I'll go out with you.
02:02You're paying, but I'll go out with you. Absolutely. No problem.
