00:00What are some fans that deserve a title?
00:03And I'm going to lay out fans from all the sports that deserve a title
00:07because of how great the fans have been versus the return they get
00:12for all their trouble, okay?
00:15And number one is the New York Knicks.
00:18It's been over 50 years.
00:19Knicks fans have been loyal, okay?
00:22They have the building that's supposed to be the Mecca,
00:25yet there's no championships in the Mecca ever.
00:27Hasn't been one since the 90s.
00:31Knicks fans have been there time and time again.
00:34They flat out deserve a championship.
00:38Next one on the list, the Cleveland Browns.
00:40The Cleveland Browns.
00:42Cleveland Browns literally lost their team.
00:44So they're in a really tough spot because they've been bad forever.
00:48But if they don't go, they know that there's probably some city
00:53waiting to take their team.
00:54Portland doesn't have a football team.
00:56Next thing you know, they're there.
00:58Who knows where they end up going?
00:59So they're in a terrible spot where they have to support the team.
01:03They can't stay home like Mets fans and other fans have,
01:07but they have to go.
01:10So they deserve a championship.
01:11They've been very loyal.
01:13Mets fans.
01:13Listen, I don't like the Mets, okay, the team.
01:18But Mets fans travel well.
01:20They really care.
01:21They've had a lot of heartache since 1986.
01:24In fact, I was looking up how many times did the Mets, they're not classy,
01:28but when was the last time the Mets made the playoffs two years in a row?
01:33There's very short, short times.
01:35I don't think there's any time where they made it three years in a row.
01:37This is New York City and you're going up against the Yankees.
01:40So, again, I don't like this new Mets owner.
01:42I don't like this Mets general manager.
01:44I don't like the Mets.
01:46But Mets fans deserve respect and they absolutely deserve a championship.
01:52The Toronto Maple Leafs.
01:53Okay, it's been 59 years.
01:56Hockey is still Canada's sport,
01:58although America did just handle their business in the Olympics
02:00and it's quickly fading for you guys north of the border.
02:03Toronto is the biggest Canadian town for hockey
02:07and they've been 59 years and they're not winning it this year.
02:11The Maple Leafs deserve a championship.
02:15All right.
02:17The Cleveland Guardians.
02:18Now, we know what they were called before.
02:20I'm not going to be that person.
02:21But I remember Tomey and Alomar and all those guys before.
02:25Kenny Lofton, one of my favorite players ever
02:27and should have stayed on the Hall of Fame ballot far longer.
02:29Producer Ethan disagrees.
02:31I can talk Kenny Lofton being into the Hall of Fame.
02:35Those guys are good constantly.
02:36They never win.
02:38And just like the Cavaliers, they deserve it.
02:41So, Cleveland actually has it tough because the Browns,
02:43it's a really good sports town considering you guys never, ever,
02:46ever win a damn thing.
02:48All right.
02:49After them.
02:50The Seattle Mariners.
02:51Never even been to one.
02:52They've had errors like the Ken Griffey Jr., Randy Johnson.
02:56We love that error.
02:58Most people, if you're a certain age,
02:59you've had a Mariners team in your lifetime that you really like.
03:02And they're good again now, or at least they were last year.
03:04They're struggling again some this year.
03:07Seattle fans have been, they lost their basketball team.
03:10They do just got it in football.
03:12But baseball, the Mariners fans absolutely deserve it.
03:16This one goes back now over 50 years.
03:20And that's the Philadelphia Flyers.
03:22I mean, you're going back a long way down to 74 and 75 when they won their Stanley Cubs.
03:27They are passionate fans.
03:29They love their teams.
03:30They go crazy for their teams.
03:32The Flyers absolutely deserve a Stanley Cup,
03:36just like maybe as much as Toronto.
03:38And if they don't win soon,
03:40them and some of these Islanders championships are about to come off the cup
03:44because the cup is not infinitely big.
03:47After a certain amount of time, they removed the rings.
03:48And the Flyers and some of those early 80s Islanders championships,
03:52yeah, they're getting ready to get taken off the cup
03:54if they don't win another one soon.
03:56And this last one gives me some pause.
03:59And that's the New York Jets.
04:02Now, on the one hand with the New York Jets,
04:04those fans are loyal and they go to that crap stadium each and every week
04:09to support a team that hasn't made the playoffs in forever.
04:132010?
04:14I mean, that's a long time to not make it,
04:17especially since the NFL has added wild card teams since then.
04:21Baseball has added as well,
04:23but football has expanded playoffs that didn't need to be expanded.
04:27Nobody even asked for that super wild card Monday crap that they give us anymore.
04:31No one cared about that.
04:32And the Jets still never make the playoffs.
04:35At the same time, they don't have any of the trouble that the Browns have.
04:39Okay?
04:40The Browns know if they don't go, they'll lose their team.
04:43The Baltimore Ravens were the Browns.
04:45We all know this history.
04:46If somehow you don't know, then now you know the history of it.
04:49They'll lose their team.
04:51Woody Johnson bought this team for like $600 million at the time.
04:54I looked it up.
04:55And at the time, that was a record amount of money.
04:57Their valuation right now, which means he'd sell it for more,
05:00is $6.9 billion,
05:03which means to buy it, because he doesn't need to sell it,
05:06you probably have to pay $8 or $9 billion to buy the Jets from him.
05:10So he's not going to.
05:11And no one's moving out of New York City.
05:12They're going to stay there in the Meadowlands.
05:14Fans are going to stay there at that stadium that no one seems to like.
05:17We know that.
05:19But those fans always go, even though they stink.
05:23So this is a tough spot for me, Jets fans,
05:26because I want to feel sympathy for you.
05:28But if I look at some of these other teams on the list, right,
05:32Browns fans have a gun to their head.
05:33They have to go.
05:35But Mets fans who are on the list,
05:37when the Mets stink, Mets fans don't go.
05:40They make it very clear to the ownership.
05:41In fact, part of the reason why they have a new owner
05:44who doesn't seem to be that much better than the last owner
05:46is because fans said,
05:48we're not going to support the team anymore
05:50as long as you're in charge.
05:52When do Jets fans take a stand?
05:54Because already, when there's football buzz,
05:57we're talking about Mahomes being back already.
05:59Daniel Jones was at OTAs,
06:01already throwing the ball after an Achilles surgery and stuff.
06:04No one's talking about the Jets,
06:05and no one has for over a decade.
06:07At what point do Jets fans put their damn foot down
06:11and say, we're not going until you're either good
06:15or Woody Johnson's out of here?
06:17Because that's the only way owners sell.
06:19You can't make an owner sell.
06:20The only way is to embarrass a billionaire.
06:22That's the only way is to embarrass him.
06:25He's been embarrassing you for decades now, Jets fans.
06:29He's been embarrassing you pretty much since he's owned the team.
06:33He's been embarrassing you.
06:34At what point do you stand up for yourself
06:37and embarrass him and get him out of here?
06:40And I mean by him selling the team,
06:42because you know he's worth several billion.
06:45He can double his net worth by selling that team.
06:48So I don't know.
06:49So I'm going to let producer Ethan in my ear decide
06:52before we get back to the Knicks real fast.
06:55Do Jets fans do enough, in your opinion, Ethan,
07:00to deserve...
07:03Now he says no, they should lose forever.
07:05He's a Giants fan, so that's a mistake.
07:07But I'm in a jam there with the Jets.
07:09I'm going to leave you on this list, okay?
07:12But I do think at some point you guys have to do something
07:16to make yourself not a joke.
07:19And you don't have the excuse that Cleveland has a...
07:23Well, if we don't support the team, they'll leave.
07:25Ain't nobody leaving New York.
07:27So how about you actually not show up 70,000
07:30for your team to win three games every year?
07:32Enough is enough.
07:33Going back to the Knicks.
07:36Again, I respect these Knicks fans,
07:39and I even respect this Knicks team.
07:41I'm bitter that they swept my Sixers,
07:43but I respect the hell out of this Knicks situation right now.
07:46I have to admit something that I don't want to admit,
07:49but I always want to tell the audience the truth.
07:54I think a Knicks parade would be maybe the best parade
08:00this side of the Eagles' first parade.
08:02Look what's happening when they're winning
08:04regular playoff series on the screen.
08:06The American flag, people are climbing things
08:08they're not supposed to...
08:09Look at those streets, okay?
08:11If the Knicks win a championship,
08:13I'm saying it, I'm going to the parade.
08:16And I'm not a Knicks fan, I'm going to the parade.
08:18It is going to be perhaps the greatest party,
08:21not in the history of sports,
08:23it could be the greatest party
08:24in the history of parties.
