00:09It took us longer to develop than we expected, but there's a simple reason for that.
00:14We decided to add much more content, that we initially planned.
00:17And today I'm happy to tell you, that the Endless Mode is right around the corner.
00:21It will be available to all of you within a couple of days, for free of course.
00:24So ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Endless Mode.
00:32You may notice that the name differs from the one we previously used.
00:36That's because Endurance is only one of the two modes we prepared.
00:39Let's take a look at them.
00:42The first one, Serenity, is a mode that allows you to fully focus on growing the city.
00:46The weather is forgiving and resources plentiful.
00:49While you will still have to be careful not to let your guard completely down,
00:52you will be able to try city layouts and play styles that were difficult to achieve in scenarios.
00:57The Endurance mode has one small difference.
00:59It's designed to be a real challenge.
01:01Because we know there are people out there who want to earn their stripes.
01:05Now they will have a chance to do it.
01:07In this mode you can also expect randomized events that will for example turn off your automatons for a couple
01:12of days.
01:13Knowing the differences, now let's focus on the basics, how the new game modes works in general.
01:19There are four different starting maps to choose from and their shape determine how your city can grow.
01:24You can customize the experience similar to the scenarios, so you can choose difficulty on many levels.
01:29Then you launch the game and you are good to go.
01:32There is no time limit, so you can play as many days as you want, keeping the preferred pace.
01:38All the buildings and laws are unlockable in the Endless mode, so you can freely explore them.
01:43Listen everyone, new lore is signed.
01:46Another new feature is the ever-changing Frostland.
01:48We wanted to keep the Endless experience fresh, so every now and then a huge snowstorm will arrive and wipe
01:54out the Frostland,
01:54which will unlock new randomized sites to visit, at the same time burying the old ones in the snow.
02:00Last but not least, while exploring the various sites you may find mementos.
02:04Once you find them, you will be able to build a new building, archives, that will allow you to collect

02:09By doing so, you will learn more about the Frostpunk world, and who knows, maybe finally you will find answers
