02:00This year we'd like to give you a peek at some of the playstyles you'll be able to adopt

02:09You're about to see sequences embodying two distinct approaches to playing Cyberpunk
02:15We'll show you a strong solo build
02:18that is a character who focuses on employing blunt force
02:21and taking instant action
02:24and a netrunner build
02:26a playstyle taking frequent advantage of stealth tactics, hacking, and battlefield control achieved

02:37Additionally, you'll learn more about Pacifica
02:39one of the game's districts
02:41two gangs, the animals, and the voodoo boys
02:44and you'll see glimpses of Johnny Silverhead
02:46the digital construct who haunts our main character, V

02:53Given that the video covers a section of the game deep into the main storyline
02:57we have edited the footage to contain as few spoilers as possible

03:16As Peralaz's campaign promised, we're going to suit

03:23In this video, you'll experience a segment of a quest from the middle of the game
03:27We're currently in Pacifica, one of Night City's six unique districts
03:32There's no Pacifica, one of the things that we're going to do
03:35You guys aren't exactly great at rolling out the welcome mat for outsiders
03:38It was designed to be a tourist hotspot within the city
03:41As you can see, this didn't pan out
03:44When uncertainty struck the global economy
03:46investors pulled their funding, leaving most establishments unfinished
03:50It's one of those places where expectations and reality collided
03:54resulting in a heap of disappointment
04:00Ongoing gang wars plague this part of the city
04:02Outsiders don't come here if they don't have to
04:05Even by Night City's standards
04:07It's dangerous to those unfamiliar with it
04:12Taking a casual stroll here would not be a good idea
04:15A fast motorbike or armor-plated car would be the safer option
04:22But places like this have their advantages
04:24If you're in need of rare goods or illegal cyberware
04:28Pacifica's bustling local markets are a good place to start your search
04:34The Grand Imperial Mall is a whole other story
04:37It was one of the last developments in Pacifica to lose its funding
04:41Until recently it stood vacant
04:43But now a gang called the Animals has moved in for reasons unknown
04:47Something's not going right for the beak I am tough
04:50And that's what we need to learn in order to earn the trust of the Voodoo Boys

05:43Though at a smaller scale

05:50The Voodoo Boys don't usually work with outsiders

05:54It seems they're prepared to make an exception this time

06:44They're usually dispersed throughout town
06:46As skilled street level business types
06:48They've cornered the market in illegal substances
06:51And underground live or die prize fights
06:53When they converge in one spot
06:55It's for something big
06:56It's then they appoint the fastest and strongest among them
06:59As their ad hoc leader

07:33Is the kind you'd expect from a full-fledged RPG
07:36You start by choosing your past
07:38Important because this unlocks special options
07:41At important story junctures
07:43You also fully customize your character
07:46Using a deep customization system
07:48That spans not only your look and style
07:50But also your abilities
07:51Cyberpunk 2077 does not feature fixed classes
07:56Instead it has a fluid class system
07:58That allows players to mix and match
08:00A wide range of abilities
08:02To suit their play styles
08:03You can create a strong solo character
08:06A skilled netrunner
08:08Or any other hybrid class
08:10That you can imagine
08:17Let's see how a solo play style
08:19In Cyberpunk 2077 might work
08:23Solos prefer a direct approach
08:25They use guns and might to get things done
08:28So let's wreak some havoc
08:32With our enhanced strength
08:34We can strip this turret of its weapons
08:36And give the animals a taste of their own medicine
08:38This is how a player investing in solo abilities

08:46Enhanced strength lets us force open doors
08:52Or grab enemies to use as human shields
09:01We also gain access to powerful melee combat cyberware
09:05So even someone as fast and strong as Sasquatch

09:11Is not impossible to beat for a solo

11:59And protect people from AI anarchy

12:08They believe this will enable their boundless expansion on the net
12:11And grant them the upper hand over Netwatch
12:14Netwatch sees this as the end of the world
