00:36But, you know, the top news story today, March 23rd, is a dramatic twist in the ongoing U.S.-Iran war
00:42in its fourth week.
00:44President Trump announced today he has postponed planning U.S. strikes on an Iranian energy infrastructure, including power plants, for
00:51five days.
00:52After what he described as very good and productive conversations with Tehran,
00:55he claimed there were major points of agreement, including Iran agreeing to no neutral weapons,
01:00and suggested a path toward a complete and total resolution of hostilities,
01:04while also extending his ultimatum for Iran to fully reopen the Strait of Hamas.
01:09Iran immediately pushed back hard.
01:11Senior officials, including the parliament speaker, called Trump's claims fake news,
01:16and denied any negotiations or talks that have even taken place, according to the U.S., of trying to manipulate
01:21oil markets.
01:22But the oil markets dropped sharply and stock surged today,
01:25dialed nearly up 1,000 points at one point on the de-escalation hopes.
01:29Meanwhile, fighting does continue underground.
01:31Israel launched fresh airstrikes on Tehran, causing blackouts.
01:35Iran fired more missiles at targets in Israel and the region.
01:38U.S. forces are still conducting precision strikes on Iran's military sites.
01:43The situation remains fluid and contradictory.
01:46Classic fighter war mixed with high-stakes diplomacy.
01:49So, you know, when Trump talks and the Iranian president talks,
01:52you don't have much of this political theater,
01:54because we really don't know what they're saying to each other behind the scenes.
01:58And other major headlines today, of course, there was a deadly plane collision at the New York LaGuardia Airport,
02:03and that's the place I had flown in and out of a lot.
02:06An Air Canada jet collided with a fire truck on the tarmac overnight,
02:10killing both pilots and injuring others.
02:12The incident is worsening already.
02:14Chaotic airline travel and TSA staffing shortages.
02:17As a partial DHS funding standoff, ICE agents are now being deployed to the airports to help,
02:23which they have, and they've even arrested similarly,
02:25was trying to come in the San Francisco airport today.
02:29Supreme Court heard arguments on limiting mail-in ballots,
02:32with conservatives appearing likely to side with the Republicans.
02:35Record heat waves in parts of the U.S.
02:37have ongoing economic ripple effects from the war,
02:39high-risk gas prices, and etc.
02:41You know, and of course, Iran is dominating all the major news outlets,
02:45because any movement, either real or perceived,
02:47towards the ending of the conflict could reshape the global energy markets,
02:50stock markets, and the 2026 political landscapes.
02:53And things are moving fast, so expect more updates from me

03:31was the California Republican Party implementing a vetting process for candidates
03:36to block supporters or promoters of Fuentes and his ideas,
03:40often called goipers.
03:41A party memo reportedly instinct instructs local leaders
03:45to avoid recruiting, supporting, or endorsing anyone
03:48who espouses or campaigns on Fuentes' ideologies
03:51aiming to prevent far-right infiltration.
03:55Other notable coverage includes
03:57Fuentes expressing disillusionment with Trump and GOP,
04:01with some reports suggesting he's open to supporting Democrats
04:04in the 2026 midterms as a way to burn down
04:07the current Republican establishment
04:09for a future takeover around March of 2026.

04:14because, I mean, it's the primaries that we've already had,
