06:07You can find a lot of value in the teams and maybe higher than that or lower than that.

07:36The Warriors are bound for the play-in, which ultimately makes three years in a row.

07:42It seems like we're a play-in magnet.
07:44And that is the reality for us.
07:46We are not moving out of the play-in.
07:48And that's what Coach Kerr's message has been to the team.
07:50Like, guys, we're in the play-in no matter what.
07:52We have to continue building great habits.
07:54And so that's got to be the focus.
07:56And I feel like every year we come in and say that we want to stay away from the play
08:00-in.
08:00And I feel like the play-in attracts us.
08:02If you ever go to a race car track, the one thing they tell you is like when the car
08:05is spinning.
08:06When you're spinning, don't look at the wall.
08:09Look away from the wall to where you're trying to go as opposed to looking at the wall.
08:14You're more likely to spin into the wall.
08:16And what everybody does is you panic and you look at the wall.
08:19That's how this play-in feel for us.
08:21And it's like we're just looking at the wall, spinning to the wall.

08:27You know how people are always like, especially if you scroll on Instagram and you'll see Tony Robbins or somebody
08:33on there at some point telling you that whatever you focus on grows.
08:37And he's basically saying that the Warriors are focused too much on the play-in tournament.
08:42Sometimes, even if you're saying out loud what you don't want, if you say it enough, that's exactly what you're
08:49going to get.

08:50It's like stepping up at a golf hole where there's water.

09:17And so when Draymond was laying that out, he actually talked more about it in terms of being on the

09:23Like when you spin out on the ice, it's kind of the same thing.
09:25So I don't think that they are in the play-in because they are like drawn to the play-in.
09:31I think they're in the play-in because they're older and they lost two of their best players for a
09:36huge chunk of the year.
09:38I don't think it's as much about this year.

09:43And last year, they weren't good enough until they got Jimmy.
09:46And you got Jimmy and you didn't have enough time to like fully climb out of it.

09:50And it was a year where, boy, everybody had that same great record.
09:54I think that they were better than a play-in team.
09:57But your record in November and December matters.
09:59So they were a play-in team.

10:02I think it's three completely different stories in terms of how they've ended up in the play-in.
10:07This year, quite frankly, and this would be the only thing where, as Draymond says that, I would sort of
10:15push back a little bit.
10:17Quite frankly, if the Warriors keep saying meaningful basketball, we want meaningful basketball,
10:24you should thank your lucky stars that you are in the play-in tournament.
10:27Because quite frankly, you're bad enough right now to not even be in that.

10:35I'm talking about being the 11 or worse.
10:38And right now, you are.
10:40You are 11 or worse.
10:42But because everyone else got a tanking head start on you, you're going to be in.
10:48Which means you're allowed to play your way out.

10:52The Warriors should be thankful right now that they have a chance.

11:09Last year, Phoenix was the 11 and they were 36 and 46.
11:14And the Warriors right now are on pace to be just a tiny bit better than that.
11:20And last year, 39 and 43 was Dallas and they were the 10 seed in the play-in bracket.
11:27So, to your point, like this year, you're kind of a little bit thankful that, you know, you are the
11:3210.
11:32Because if you are this team last year, you'd be fighting like heck to try to avoid being 11.
11:37There is a scenario where the Warriors don't sound ridiculous when they say all the things that they say.
11:43Even though that scenario probably, under most circumstances, shouldn't exist.
11:48But it does this year.
11:49It does.
11:50You know what I mean?
11:50And you're in this spot for a number of reasons.
11:53It's age.
11:54It's injury.
11:55And it's the fact that, you know, you had that rough start.
11:57And oh boy, that schedule was so unfair.
12:00And all the travel and the back-to-backs and all the rest of it.
12:02But you get to this spot in the year when you have an older team.
12:06And you're more likely than not going to have these kinds of struggles.
