00:01Hello, this is Richard Garriott, known to some of you as Lord British, and today we're going to show the
00:06Shroud of the Avatar Home Decoration System.
00:09Today we're going to begin with decorating our Knight's House.
00:13The Knight's House is one of the pledge rewards we have given to many of our backers.
00:18And you can see here we've started in our modest front yard, where over here we have some benches and
00:24tables and chairs.
00:26In this case, these were crowd-sourced items made by one of our pledgers, Borg. Borg, thank you very much.
00:33Also, we'll go along past some of these crafting tables you may have seen in our previous videos, to a
00:38little bit of a side yard here.
00:40We've put a few of these camping supplies. In this case, they were made and provided for us by the
00:46Hairy Man.
00:47Thank you, Hairy Man, for your continued great work.
00:50Also here in the side yard, you can pick up this guillotine.
00:53And instead of using it in the backyard, maybe we'll take it to a more visible place somewhere else in
00:59our abode.
01:00Going past these crafting stations, these are the places we could have made logs into boards and boards into furniture,
01:07like the furniture you've seen outside or here on the inside.
01:10Inside here, you will see, for example, there is the butchery table.
01:15And on the floor, there's a movable rug. On the back wall, there's tapestries. There's also paintings.
01:21Paintings, of course, any of these wall-hanging items you can put on any of those horizontal surfaces or the
01:26vertical surfaces.
01:28You'll notice also, by the way, we can stack items.
01:31So here, for example, with the barrel and bucket on the carpet, on that rug.
01:36Similarly, the cup on top of the barrel.
01:39And now they all move as a unit, sort of a parent-child relationship.
01:43And we think this is a great innovation and an advantage in home decorating.
01:49You can even do things like take...
01:51There's a whole bookcase.
01:52And that bookcase is full of individual books.
01:54In this case, they were created by Green Arrow.
01:56Thank you, Green Arrow.
01:58I can take a few of them with me on my adventures, scatter a few more around the house.
02:03And yet, you can see, you can still now pick up the whole stack and move the components in that
02:10parent-child relationship around the house with me.
02:14So let's move upstairs after adjusting the tapestry here on the wall.
02:19And here on the second floor, you'll see some more fun things to decorate with.
02:23A couple more paintings I might choose to rearrange.
02:28Also, here you can see that someone forgot to put that carpet, that rug, under the table.
02:34So I move the table on top of the rug.
02:36And then move the rug and table back between the chairs.
02:42Back over here in the corner of the room, if I can squeeze through, I'll get to my little bedroom.
02:47And in here you can see that even small things like those pillows decorating the bed are individual objects.
02:52The furniture would be individual objects.
02:55And of course, again, you can decorate anything up or down through the stack of objects all at the same
03:02time.
03:04Now let's proceed to the, oh, and by the way, that table and chairs was made by Melichor Mike Major.
03:11Here on the roof, you'll see our crafting tables.
03:15There's the smelting table where you can melt down your ore.
03:18There's the blacksmith table to make weapons and tools.
03:22There's the alchemy table for the alchemists and even a cooking table to cook food.
03:27In the corner here, we had tucked an ankh, a good symbol of virtue.
03:31And as you can see, it also is built out of a pile, you might say, of other objects.
03:39I can bring out, for example, instead of moving the alchemy table, I can bring out that guillotine
03:46and maybe tuck it back in the corner where the ankh was instead.
03:51Perhaps, in fact, I'll put that ankh back in my backpack.
03:54And now I think that's a much nicer place to display my implement of terror.
04:00In any case, I think you get the general gist of how you can decorate a home
04:06all the way from stacks of items up here on the roof
04:09down through the walls and floors of the interior and even in your own yard.
04:14All will be decoratable with, I think, this new and innovative decoration system.
04:20Thank you very much.
