01:01and I decided the best way to recover was to travel.
01:05So I looked for the longest cruise I could find,
01:08and it was from Rio to Tahiti, sat down beside Pat,
01:12and she looked at me and,
01:14you look like crap.

01:17So this is my first time on a cruise ship,
01:19my first time traveling,
01:21and I meet this woman who tells me the ultimate truth
01:24right off the bat.
01:26Last year we decided to get married,
01:28and now we're ready to take the next step
01:32and get a property here that will feel like home for us.

01:39It's almost as big as the,
01:40well, it's bigger than the marriage.

01:48We've been living in an apartment in downtown St. Andrews,
01:51New Brunswick, for the past four and a half, five years.
01:55The lease is coming due,
01:56and the square is getting a bit noisy,
01:59we're above a restaurant,
02:01and so the idea of a small house in St. Andrews
02:05has been the theme of what we're looking at.
02:08I always vowed when I was a youngster
02:10that I was going to live by the sea,
02:13and so when I came to St. Andrews,
02:17I was just mesmerized.
02:19I mean, it was like something I had dreamed about
02:22from the time I was quite young.
02:24Pat often calls St. Andrews a hallmark village
02:26because it's just so livable.
02:30We are looking for a property with water views,
02:34a kitchen, nice kitchen.
02:36Yeah, we do a lot of cooking together.
02:37Yeah.
02:38Open concept.
02:39Two bedrooms.
02:40Something downtown.
02:42At least within walking distance of downtown.

02:45An ensuite bathroom.
02:47I've written a journal every day for the last 25 years,
02:50and so it's important to have that kind of quiet area
02:52where you can kind of just begin your day.
02:55And also, I would prefer it to be move-in ready.
02:59I'm going to leave the budget for our place to the accountant.
