Transcript
00:00Dr.
01:06So for example, dental infections and facial infections are quite common and we did encounter quite a lot of those
01:14because a lot of patients find it difficult to access dentists and dental services under the circumstances.
01:21So some of these infections were quite serious and life-threatening so we were able to deal with those things.
01:27I was also quite surprised to see a disproportionately higher number of benign and malignant tumours in the head and
01:39neck area.
01:41So we were able, in that short time that I was there, for three weeks I was there, I saw
01:47quite a lot of, you know, swellings and lumps and, you know, cancers that needed treating.
01:53So Alhamdulillah, we were able to provide life-saving surgery for a few of the patients over there.
02:18walaupun berdepan kesukaran seperti kekurangan peralatan.
02:31Because sometimes these patients require additional things after surgery.
02:36So for example, they will probably need physiotherapy for rehabilitation.
02:41And do we have a physiotherapy service available to support this?
02:44But sometimes there isn't.
02:46You know, inside you feel very, very sad and very, very, you know, disappointed.
02:52And sometimes you do feel a bit guilty because, you know, you're there to help
02:55and then suddenly you find yourself not being able to help.
02:59In these moments, you know, you soon realise that you have to let it go to, you know,
03:08to Allah, to God, the higher power.
03:11And you can see the limitations that, you know, present in front of you.
