00:06So, brother is asking the question that, why do we celebrate Eid after Ramadan is over?
00:12Because in Ramadan, the prophets, the devils are changed.
00:14So once Ramadan is over, when Eid starts, why are we celebrating?
00:18Because the devils have been unchanged, so we should be sad, why are we celebrating?
00:22That is a very good question.
00:24Number one, a beloved prophet said that, if we fast with sincere faith and seeking the reward from Allah,
00:32during the full month of Ramadan, all your past sins will be forgiven.
00:37Our prophet also said that, if you do Qayyam ul-Layl during the nights of Ramadan, all your past sins
00:44will be forgiven.
00:45Our prophet also said that, if you do Qayyam during Laitul Qadr, all your past sins will be forgiven.
00:50So, if we have to fast during the full month of Ramadan, and if you say Ramadan will not end,
00:57if Ramadan will not end, then your sins will not be forgiven.
01:00If you have to do Qayyam in the month of Ramadan and you pray to Allah, Ramadan does not end,
01:04then your sins will not be forgiven.
01:06If you have to find the Laitul Qadr, you have to seek it in the last ten nights.
01:11If the last ten nights do not end, then how will your sins be forgiven?
01:15So, basically, we are celebrating Eid because our sins are forgiven.
01:20That's the reason on the Eid day, the sahabas used to wish each other by saying,
01:26Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum, that may Allah subhanahu ta'ala accept from you and me,
01:32indicating may Allah accept your good deeds and my good deeds.
01:38Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum, that may Allah accept our good deeds, our fasting, our salah and
01:46our charity, all the good deeds.
01:49So, saying Eid Mubarak, this is later on, the sahabas never said Eid Mubarak.
01:54You can say, but the most authentic and the best thing to say is, Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum,
02:00that may Allah accept our deeds. So, we celebrate Eid because we are praying to Allah and we are asking
02:06Allah to accept our deeds. Our good deeds are accepted, our past sins are forgiven.
02:11But I do agree with you. At the same time, it's a feeling of sadness. And now, there is hardly
02:17one hour
02:18left in Malaysia for Ramadan to end. It's the mixed feeling of happiness and sadness. Sadness because
02:25we'll be missing the good things of Ramadan. And we could see our Qiyam was more, our Siyam was there,
02:33our Chaiti was there, our Iman was at the highest level. So, we are going to miss all these things.
02:37Therefore, we are sad. At the same time, we are happy that this was one month of overhoaling,
02:43as I said, the servicing of the body. And now, we are refreshed and all our sins will be forgiven.
02:49We are happy that now, we are more prepared to fight with the devil. Now, the devil will be unchanged.
02:55But now, we are more empowered, we are more trained, we are more better equipped than before
03:02to fight with the devil. So, it's a feeling of happiness and a feeling of sadness. It's a mixed
03:07feeling. And may Allah's mother accept all our good deeds, mine and all of us, inshallah.
03:11So, let's see.
03:12So, let's see.
03:12So, let's see.
03:12So, let's see.
