00:29Is there a specific trait of your character that fans begged you not to mess up?
00:36And did you read any online comments before I started filming?
00:40I personally didn't, because I also didn't want to be too conditioned.
00:47There are certain things, obviously, that we spoke with Stefania and with Roger.
00:52And we made sure that we didn't miss certain things that were demanded from the characters for the book.
00:58But besides that, I personally didn't like to be on top of the comments and everything,
01:04because in the end they can condition you and sometimes exposing yourself to those situations are not the most helpful
01:10thing.
01:11I mean, I think the fans were just so overwhelmingly positive and welcoming to us and so accepting.
01:17And, of course, they love their characters so much.
01:19They've grown up reading these characters and they know them so well.
01:22So, of course, it's really important to them that they feel that the characters portrayed as they expected on the
01:27screen.
01:27And, obviously, we can only hope that we've done so and, yeah, we've done the best we can.
01:33And it was great to be able to talk to Stefania about it, as Pepe said, and work on that.

01:39I think I've seen the comments on TikToks and on Instagram, but I think for me it was easier,
01:45because I'm from Italy and, you know, the fan base is really, it's mostly Italian.
01:50So that's why we did the best we could to provide all the stuff they were asking for in the

02:02If you could give one piece of advice to your character, what will it be?
02:08Love yourself. You're surrounded by people that really love you, so don't be afraid of this.
02:18And don't compare yourself to other people.
02:21Yeah, I think I would say keep being you, keep standing up for yourself, keep trusting yourself.
02:26But for a piece of advice I would say maybe don't trust others so easily, you know.
02:31people might not be as they seem.
02:33And to James I think I would say to be nicer to people and to also be more demonstrative, you
02:44know,
02:44and appreciative of the people that try to care about you.
02:48What element of the story convinced you the most?
02:51I love the friendship between James and Will, but it's a really hard question because you can really relate
02:59to every character and many, many themes, social media, love, friendship, like I said.
03:10So it's hard to find just one.
03:13I love how complicated the characters are. I love how it's really based in humanity and reality
03:19and there's so many layers to each character and you get to know them all so well.
03:23I think that was what I loved a lot about it.
03:27Yeah, seeing the storylines between the characters, the relationship with Will, obviously,
03:36and also the hate to love relationship with June, I think was also very interesting.

03:54I think mostly the ones that are portrayed in the book also, right?
03:59Yeah, I think so. I think the key scenes that the fans love from the book that we've managed to

04:05And there's also one scene that I think will get everybody very excited towards the end of the film.
04:12Towards the end? Which one are you thinking about?
04:14The one that we did in one shot of all of us together on set.

04:19I think something about that will, the fans will be very happy.
