00:57the two times they've played Iowa State this year, you know,
01:01Iowa State actually trailed in the second half in those games.
01:05But Arizona State ultimately faded down the stretch.
01:08They just couldn't get enough offense from anyone.

01:17or at least as nobody has said anything at Arizona State

02:36in these conference tournaments, Donnie, they had nothing to worry about.
02:40Your season is over after this, so you've got to go out there and lay it all out on the

02:45And so far, what we've seen in a lot of spots in these early conference games is, yeah, they're
02:51laying it and they're leaving it all out there.

02:57I'm kind of shocked they're not double-digit favorites here.

03:10and a half when they just have not proven to be consistent enough to lay that kind of

03:23California still seems interesting to that.
03:25They're in the ACC going west coast to east coast to take on Florida State.
03:29Overnight, Joe, we saw these lines around minus two and a half as a favorite to Florida

03:33Now we're seeing three and a halves and four and a halves in the marketplace as a favorite
03:38for the Florida State Seminoles.
03:39The total of this game, Joe, listed at 152 and a half.

03:46Well, listen, Florida State very much alive and well here in this ACC tournament and could
03:54make us a couple of bucks here, Donnie, early on here.
03:58They have really transformed after the first month of the year.

05:18NCAA tournament five straight years.

05:24Yeah, well, Boeheim's not there anymore.
05:27You would think they have enough NIL money to get it going, but nope.
05:32It doesn't feel long before there's maybe a little bit of a regime change there for Syracuse
05:38basketball coming sooner rather than later.
05:41That is just unacceptable with Syracuse basketball.
05:45That many missed opportunities and missed March Madnesses, that's not going to be tolerated
05:50much longer.

05:52Like, there are no excuses here for Syracuse.

10:14Again, there were rumors about this all throughout the season.
10:19I mean, they had one kid.

10:22If he didn't score, they didn't win.
10:25It's been a rough four years.
10:27It's, you know, the fact that he even got as long as he did, kudos to Syracuse.
10:32We're not overreacting right away, but it's time.

10:59Arizona State lives to fight another day.
11:02Their coach, Bobby Hurley, knows once he loses, he's going to be out of a job as well.
11:07Iowa State, an 85% chance to win this game outright.
11:09If you think that Arizona State can keep the good times going, Joe, and you want to invest, that's at
11:14a 15% chance.
11:16A $100 investment pays back $667.
11:19But if you're looking to say, I'm going with the point spread, it's a heavy favorite for Iowa State.
11:24Favorite, Joe, by 12.5 points.
11:28Yeah, I listen, kudos to them.
11:30I think Baylor made the first bucket yesterday against Arizona State and then they never trailed after that.
11:36Arizona State pretty much went wire to wire against a Baylor team that nobody gave them any credit.
11:42It was all Baylor money yesterday.
11:44And now they've got to take on an Iowa State team.
11:47And listen, they are not a bad team.
11:50They are one of these teams, Arizona State, where if it's clicking, you can't have a bad day against Arizona
11:59State.
11:59They will make you pay.
12:00Now, having said that, during the regular season when these two teams played, Arizona State had a lead in the
12:07second half.
12:07I mean, you know, Iowa State was actually trailing in those games.
12:11So, you know, eventually Arizona State didn't have enough talent to keep up with Iowa State.
12:16But Iowa State better be careful.
12:18It's a tricky spot here.
12:19I think they win.
12:21But my goodness, Arizona State, I think they're going to leave it all out on the court here in this
12:26game.
12:27Wouldn't shock me if it's closer than what the market thinks it's going to be.
12:31We want the upsets here.

12:35But, Joe, let's head over to Nashville.

12:40And what do we love about this game again today, Joe?

12:44If you're looking for the winner of the game, yeah, it's probably going to be Kentucky.

12:52If we take a look at the spread line here on this one, Joe, Kentucky wins by 8.5 or
12:57more points.
12:58Listen, a Cal sheet trading currently at a 51% chance.
13:01And the total, Joe, 149.5.
13:03Kentucky and that big payroll taken on LSU.
13:07Now, they only played once this season, Donnie.
13:10And if you recall, this was the start where Kentucky has been decimated by injuries all year.
13:17They've been dealing with injuries to their best players all year long.
13:21They are finally starting to get healthy.
13:23And in that first game, it took an unbelievable second-half comeback just to win by one point, if you
13:31remember, with Kentucky.
13:32It's kind of what started that whole second half.
13:35You know, they don't play the first half, but in the second half, they're very dangerous.
13:40I think they have learned from that.
13:42They're a little healthier.
13:43I know they've lost, what, five of their last seven.
13:46But I do think that Kentucky, it's go time.
13:49They're already predicted as a seven seed in March Madness.
13:53I think they handle it.
13:56I don't think they're going to let up.
13:57I think they blow the doors off LSU today.

14:05Let's get to some of the nightcaps here.
14:06California going to take on Florida State.
14:08This game going to take place in Charlotte.
14:10So California coming west coast to east coast to take on the Seminoles.
14:13If we're looking at a chance to win this game on Cal State, a 61% chance listed as the
14:18favorite for Florida State.
14:20Cal listed at 39%.
14:21The spread here, Florida State winning by four and a half points or more, currently trading at 49 cents, which
14:28would mean a hundred dollar investment would pay back 209.
14:31ACC battle.
14:33Cal, Florida State, Joe.
14:36Cal's on a pushover.
14:37But again, we've got this whole west coast team flying to the east coast.
14:41We saw what happened to Stanford yesterday, who was a five, five and a half point favorite and lost by
14:47a point because they just looked a half a step slower than Pitt did.
14:53But Florida State, to me, call me crazy.
14:56I love what this team has.
14:58They're playing their best basketball in the second half of the year.
15:02And certainly as they head into this game against Cal, you got to love it.
15:06They're long, they're athletic, they chuck up a ton of threes, and they're starting to play a little bit of
15:11defense here.
15:13Cal's going to be tough, but it's been all Florida State money, Donnie, since last night it opened up two
15:19and a half.
15:19All I'm seeing is nothing but Florida State money pushing this thing to four, four and a half here.
15:25I like it.
15:26I think both these teams, it's going to be a rock fight, but ultimately, I think Florida State wins this
15:32and likely wins and covers this game.
15:35Great time of year to be talking college basketball, no doubt about it.
15:38This Sunday is going to be Selection Sunday, and away we go to the first four in Dayton next week.
15:42And then the big boys come to play on Thursday and Friday, the two best days in the sports landscape
15:47of your year.
