00:00Redlines that you need to know right here on a Monday to get your week started off in style.
00:04And that's going to include some Final Four action.
00:06And by the way, Joe, I had a nice little respite yesterday.
00:08I said, you know what?
00:09A 2 o'clock start and a 5 o'clock start here on a Sunday afternoon spells ratings.
00:14Both of those games look like they were headed for a blow.
00:16But as we know, we'll go over.
00:17UConn was not ready for that blowout, overtook Duke.
00:19That was a crazy scenario.
00:21But, Joe, we have the Final Four on the horizon.
00:24And look, I don't mean to get angry.
00:26I don't.
00:27Because I will be watching it.
00:28So will everybody else.
00:29One game starts at 6.09.
00:31One game starts at 8.49, which means after 9 o'clock.
00:33What are we doing with our entire day?
00:35Why can't we have, Joe, a 2 o'clock and a 5 o'clock Final Four for all to see
00:39and all to enjoy?
00:40Forget about that for now.
00:42That's for a topic a little bit later.
00:43How about Illinois and UConn?
00:45How about that?
00:45It should be Illinois and Duke, but UConn with a tremendous comeback.
00:49And now we see, Joe, a minus 2.5 point line at the opening number.
00:52Still sitting at minus 2.5 in a lot of outlets.
00:55But also, Joe, I'm seeing minus 1.5 in the marketplace right now.
00:58Has a slight favor towards Illinois.
01:00Connecticut and Illinois also with a total listed of 139.5.
01:04Game one, Joe, of the Final Four this Saturday.
01:07What's that early spread line?
01:10It's kind of interesting.
01:11It kind of tells you that maybe just maybe the seeding in the committee, did they get this wrong on
01:18it?
01:18Because last I checked, that's a three seed that's a favorite on a neutral court over the two seed UConn
01:24there.
01:25So, I'll be interested to see where this line goes throughout the week, given the fact that two teams that
01:31are not in a rush to go anywhere.
01:33These are two teams that certainly can play some defense.
01:36The two teams that, yep, they like to get their own rebounds.
01:41They like to avoid teams actually getting their rebounds.
01:45It's just a styles make fights.
01:47And this is one of the more interesting ones, I think.
01:51And, yeah, Illinois became the public darling somewhere along the line here.
01:56But I think UConn, this might go off as a pick-em more so than maybe Illinois going off as
02:03a three or three-and-a-half point favorite before we get the tip.
02:06And, by the way, we talked a lot here on the predictive markets, Joe, where you said, hey, what's the
02:10combination of the two seeds that are going to meet up in the final?
02:13Two, three, four, five?
02:15You're already going to have at least a three or a two show up there, which would have cashed that
02:18ticket for over two,
02:19which means as long as you didn't have two number one seeds meeting in the final, you were going to
02:23make some money here.
02:24And congratulations, you're going to do that.
02:25Michigan and Arizona.
02:27Boy, you won a great game here as well in game number two.
02:30You got it.
02:31Michigan here opens up, Joe, as a slight minus one-and-a-half point favorite over Arizona in a total
02:36of 157-and-a-half.
02:38Both of these two teams rolling into the final four, a fantastic final four to setting up.
02:43But Michigan and Arizona, Joe, what's that early spread line for you?
02:47Well, you know, it's unfortunate because a lot of people thought this was the national championship game or should have
02:52been.
02:53But they got to go through one another, Donnie, to get there.
02:56But still, a lot of people think whoever wins this game is eventually going to be your national champion one
03:01way or the other.
03:02Whoever wins this game is not going to be an underdog to the other side, no matter who wins that,
03:07too.
03:07So keep that in mind.
03:09But I thought Arizona might open up as the slight favorite here, Donnie, and they didn't.
03:15It seems to have gone towards Michigan.
03:16And the more you dive into the numbers, listen, it makes sense, right?
03:21Because Arizona does not shoot the three very well.
03:24They don't shoot it very often.
03:26They're all about dominating inside the paint.
03:29And I don't know that they're doing that against this Michigan.
03:32This Michigan team is huge.
03:34They, too, like to dominate inside the paint here.
03:37I do think points could be coming in this game, though, Donnie.
03:41So the total seems very interesting to me.
03:44I think it's only going to keep rising.
03:46So if you're looking at an over sooner rather than later, I think,
03:51because this number is just going to get closer to 160, I think, before it's all said and done.
03:55How about being the head coach here, looking at May on the sidelines.
03:59So proud of his son splashing three-point shots late in that game.
04:02But let's hear from the coaches after that Michigan game.
04:08We're extremely proud of our guys.
04:09There we go.
04:10The way they competed against a story program like Tennessee that's as well-coached as anyone in the country.
04:17Against a team that has battled all year and really improved as the season has gone on.
04:22But our guys have been up to the challenge to deliver in the biggest moments all year,
04:29and nothing changed tonight.
04:31But just to be proud, we're all just very proud to be a part of this group.
04:35We're obviously disappointed.
04:37We think that we're better than what we showed today.
04:41And we sort of, well, the game was kind of where we had it in the first, what, eight to
04:46ten minutes.
04:47And we picked up five quick fouls and got away from us and give them credit.
04:53But just so proud of our guys.
04:56They've had a phenomenal year.
04:57Obviously, when you get to this point and you don't move on, it's extremely disappointing,
05:02especially when you know you weren't at your best and you know you need to be at your best this
05:06time.
05:06But proud of these two guys here and Grant.
05:11Grant was a guy we brought back to help us maintain our culture with the locker room.
05:15And Felix has been amazing.
05:18And I thought Jacoby in a year just endeared himself to Volanation.
05:22And he was fearless today.
05:25But just unbelievably proud of this team.
05:28Really, we've gone through a lot.
05:30But they've stuck together to get us to this point.
05:33And there's probably, what, 50-some teams that like to be here today where we are even after a loss.
05:40And so I'm proud of their effort and that we want more.
05:43There's no doubt we want more.
05:44We want to break through this thing.
05:45But you've got to get here first.
05:47And just so proud of the effort these guys gave it this year.
05:51It's a Monday fun day right here on the show.
05:52It's the early line.
05:53It's Donnie Wright said, and it's Joe Renier.
05:55My goodness, what happened?
05:56Sensational Sweet 16 and Elite Eight.
05:58No Cinderella's here, people.
06:00In the Final Four, which I love to see.
06:02Ratings should be high.
06:03And away we go.
06:04But I was watching that Duke-UConn game yesterday.
06:07I'm like, man, it's another blowout in the day.
06:09Second blowout of the day.
06:10Tough times here.
06:11Shut the game off.
06:12How about this?
06:13Number one seeds were 134-0 and leading by 15-plus points at halftime.
06:18So like me, I said, that's probably going to be 135-0.
06:21Nope.
06:22134-1.
06:23Why?
06:23Because UConn came all the way back and won that basketball game 73-72
06:29to knock off the number one seeded Duke Blue Devils here and advance into the Final Four.
06:34What an incredible game.
06:35Joe, what an incredible collapse by Duke.
06:39That's why they call it madness.
06:41Yeah.
06:41And we've said it.
06:42And I got to tell you, Don, I mean, up to that point, it had been chalk fest in a
06:47big,
06:48big way.
06:48We weren't even getting competitive games here.
06:51I mean, Tennessee did not show up in any way, shape, or form the game prior to that.
06:56And even the night before that, Donnie, just kind of yawned, right?
07:00Just the chalk, chalk, and chalk.
07:02Purdue couldn't deliver.
07:04And so you're going with a 15-point lead at the half, Donnie.
07:09You're watching that game.
07:10And I had UConn.
07:11But, you know, when they went one of 11 from three in the first half, that was really the
07:17difference.
07:18Now, granted, Duke held teams to just about 30% from three on this season.
07:25Had UConn just shot 30% from three in the game, just average, Donnie, they would have
07:30won this game by double digits.
07:32I mean, that's how ridiculous a difference it was from the perimeter in this game.
07:37But ultimately, ironically, it's the three that sticks the dagger into Duke by UConn,
07:43who couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat from three-point range yesterday.
07:47Crazy triple as well.
07:48And understand this, Duke had a two-point lead with seconds left to go.
07:51The inbound on the ball.
07:52Why are you advancing it down court?
07:53Hold the basketball.
07:54They'll run over and hack you.
07:55You make your free throws, the game is over at this point.
07:58And even if you don't make your free throws and miss, it's a full-length court heave as
08:03opposed to a relatively makeable long-distance three-point shot.
08:07Unbelievable stuff.
08:08But UConn moves on 73-72.
08:10The other semifinal, you saw the graphic.
08:12Man, Michigan looks like they're on display saying, this is why we're a number one seed
08:16here.
08:1695-62.
08:18An absolute runaway victory over Tennessee.
08:21It's a very good SEC team here.
08:23And you even had the bench players playing three and four minutes late in that game,
08:27firing and making threes, Joe.
08:29Michigan made a mockery of Tennessee.
08:31Yeah, no, Tennessee, it's just, yeah, congratulations, Rick Barnes.
08:35Once again, you get to the Elite Eight and you can't do anything with it.
08:39So, yeah, that's a problem here.
08:42But again, we kind of figured that this is what we were going to be looking at, right?
08:48Arizona, Michigan, how anybody discounted UConn, I don't get simply because, listen,
08:55they've got experience, they've got championship DNA.
08:58And now, you know, when's the last time Hurley lost a game in the tournament that didn't
09:04cover the spread?
09:05Like once, I think.
09:06I mean, over the last four years, UConn expects to be here and UConn is there as a number two
09:12seed.
09:13It's the Illinois team I find fascinating.
09:16Rick Pitino gets paid here from St. John's and rightfully so.
09:19But understand this too, in the recruiting battles, you need every edge.
09:22Hey, Rick's only signed for two more years up.
09:23He won't be there to see you, your junior or senior year.
09:26Got to give him the extension like in football.
09:28That's what they did.
09:28I don't think he's going to coach till 2030, but you got to give him the extension just
09:32for the appearance purposes.
09:34Yeah.
09:34Give me extension.
09:35Second highest paid coach there in the Big East, right?
09:38So, you know, right behind guess who?
09:41One and only Mr. Hurley.
09:44That's the whole point.
09:45So, yeah.
09:46But two best coaches happen to reside maybe in the Big East here.
09:51I don't know that John Shire answered another collapse can be considered one of the better
09:56coaches in college basketball right now.
09:58How about Gino upset here, Joe, from The Athletic?
10:01Gino Ariyama criticized the NCAA's tournament setup, calling out the two-region format for the
10:07women's bracket.
10:08Look, how about this?
10:09How about we just don't play the women's brackets anymore?
10:11Because every coach is unhappy every single time we watch.
10:15Yeah.
10:16It really is kind of crazy, Donnie, right?
10:18And where are they?
10:19Phoenix now?
10:21Yeah.
10:21I mean, now you got to go.
10:22Yeah.
10:23I don't know.
10:23Is it UCLA having to go east?
10:25Is it UConn having to go west?
10:27What's the difference?
10:28You got plenty enough time.
10:29You're in the final four.
10:31Gino, you're good to go.
10:32You're going to have to beat UCLA anyway to get it done, which I'm sure they will.
10:37Here's the difference, too, as well, which I always bring up.
10:40We're trying to get the most eyeballs we can on your separate tournaments here.
10:44We're always going to watch the men over the women.
10:46So what do they do?
10:46Well, wait.
10:47Let's put it on at the same time.
10:48Like, you can't stagger these tournaments so the women get a share of the spotlight as
10:53opposed to saying, no, no, no, no, no.
10:55Run them up at the same time.
10:56We'll be just fine.
10:57So if the coaches are mad, I'm mad at what they actually do at this point.
11:00But by the way, Gino, what is he?
11:02They can roll everybody anywhere.
11:04What's the purpose of you changing the tournament in any way, shape, or form, UConn?
11:07Ah, who cares, right?
11:09That's what they say.
11:10More hot topics are coming up next.
11:11It's the early line right here on a Monday.
11:13Monday morning, early line edition.
11:15So many things, so many hot topics here going down last week, which includes the Major League
11:19Baseball opening of the season, ABS, Sweet 16, Elite 8, and NBA action all wrapped up into
11:26one.
11:26Your boy, D.R.S., along with Joe Renier, we welcome in Kevin Walsh, bright and early here
11:31on a Monday, ready to get things started here.
11:34Looking good, looking fresh, looking ready, Kev.
11:36We need the excitement this week.
11:37We do.
11:38You got it?
11:39Yeah, I'm ready to go.
11:40Joe got in just in time to hear you.
11:44Yeah.
11:45It was like the bat signal, right?
11:47Like you pretending like Rick Pitino lifted Iona up.
11:52We're at the point now where basically I could argue Rick Pitino ruined Iona basketball, but
11:57I don't think that's the lead story that people are kind of at the edge of their seat for.
12:02I mean, there's talks of Iona going down to Division III, joining the New Jersey Athletic
12:07Conference at this point, and shambles up there at the Heinz Center, but that's not
12:11what we're really talking to about today, Kevin.
12:13I do want to talk to you about this.
12:14Like, for me, I love the fact, and you know me, like, games are on at certain times, make
12:19me happy.
12:20I was able to watch those games yesterday, a little boring there, Michigan rolling away,
12:23and I tuned in a little bit late in that one, but I started to stick it out, and it
12:26was
12:26fun the last couple minutes.
12:27Coaches, kids getting chances out there, like, to make a wish, knock down some threes in some
12:31big moments and have some fun, but I got to be honest.
12:33I watched the entire first half of the Duke game.
12:35I was like, man, I was hoping for a good game.
12:36It wasn't there, and I told the story already on the show.
12:39I turned it off, came back on later, and just went to Twitter to see how much Duke won by
12:45Kevin.
12:47Shocked that they lost that game.
12:49Yeah.
12:49I mean, classic DRS, right?
12:52Like, I don't think, you know, you like to call yourself the common man.
12:57I imagine most watching aren't like, yeah, I also turned off.
13:01The Elite Eight game between Duke and UConn.
13:03Yeah.
13:04What were you doing?
13:06You certainly weren't doing anything better.
13:08I had a lot of baseball yesterday, kid.
13:10A lot of baseball at that time.
13:11You've got 400 screens in front of you.
13:14You absolutely could have left Duke UConn up in the corner.
13:19It was an incredible comeback.
13:22The halftime line was 12 and a half, so it was a question.
13:27It was like, the books were like, yeah, UConn will play better in the second half, but they're
13:31not going to win this basketball game.
13:35And slowly but surely, every three made by UConn felt like it was worth four points instead
13:45of three.
13:46And, you know, people are like, oh, what a tough loss for Duke.
13:50I stand by it.
13:52This isn't their worst tournament loss within the last two tournaments.
13:55The Houston game, to me, is still even worse.
13:58I know it didn't come with a dramatic shot, but it was a better basketball team with an
14:02even more improbable choke job.
14:04So just a crazy scene, and Hurley does it again.
14:10What cracks me up, Kev, is that if they just shoot average to even what Duke has held teams
14:17from three, which is about 30% this year, they win that game close to double digits, UConn.
14:23They had outplayed Duke.
14:25If it wasn't for the one for 11 start from three, that was the difference in the first
14:31half.
14:32And then all of a sudden, they basically came back and won a game by dominating them inside
14:38the two-point range.
14:39It was that dominant of a UConn game where, yeah, it came down to, you know, a pass and
14:46a crazy three, but had they just shot average, they'd probably win that game going away.
14:52Yeah, I like UConn in the game.
14:54I actually like UConn in the region, one of the, you know, I got 50% of the final four.
15:00I assume most people got at least 50% of the final four because of the two one seeds that
15:05made it.
15:06The thing is, and listen, Duke ended up being what I thought Duke was, a team led by the
15:14best player in the country and not enough behind him.
15:18Isaiah Evans had seven points.
15:20Are you actually surprised?
15:22Blake Brown started this basketball game and did not score in this basketball game.
15:27If you want to tell me that the whole season flipped because Gungba and Foster were injured,
15:32I'm not going to act like it's a nothing, but I also, Foster and Gungba are not a pair of
15:38lottery talents, right?
15:39Like last year's Duke team that had Cooper flag and then a bunch more lottery talent level
15:45guys.
15:45So again, they lost by one.
15:48This Duke team lost three games by one, by one.
15:53And that the buzzer by three, they're obviously incredible, but I didn't think they'd close
15:59the door.
15:59They're not going to close the door.
16:01And John Shire out here, like a lot of talent, not casting in those tickets here.
16:06We'll see what happens there down at Duke, but they'll probably reload with multiple
16:09five stars and away they go and which way are they going to blow another lead next year
16:13in the tournament.
16:13They're digging on.
16:14Here's our fave to public poll.
16:22How about this?
16:23We got a pretty good one here at sports grid.
16:25What is your national championship matchup prediction?
16:28Illinois, Arizona, Michigan, Illinois, UConn, Michigan, or Arizona, UConn?
16:32Pretty even split right down the board, Joe, with Arizona and UConn as the current favorite
16:38now.
16:39And these have to be the four biggest teams that we have seen, Dottie.
16:43I mean, the average height on these teams is like 6'10", 6'11".
16:48Like there are some huge kids on all of these teams here.
16:52And listen, I think Michigan and UConn is not a bad look here because Michigan, Illinois,
16:59we'd have to spend the entire offseason talking about how the Big Ten is the greatest conference
17:05ever been put together in college basketball history.
17:08So yeah, let the Big East represent the finals, will you?
17:12More fun on a Monday.
17:13How's it getting any more fun?
17:14Well, I'm going to tell you right now, prediction market's edge right here on the early line.
17:17We got you covered over the next half hour.
17:19Different way to invest your money, Joe.
17:20And as I'm taking a look at the final four, wait, do you see some opportunities to invest
17:26here?
17:26I'm excited.
17:27It's Donnie Wright's side and Joe O'Neill.
17:28Just so I can do every day, Monday through Friday, bring the people, Joe, exactly what
17:32they want.
17:33Yeah, I'm looking very forward to this week here, Donnie.
17:37And the prediction market's offering us a couple of different ways to approach this
17:42final four and this championship matchup.
17:45So a couple of different ways that we can go to, you know, shall we say, be profitable
17:51when it's all said and done.
17:53Big East, Big Ten, game number one, final four Saturday night start at 6.09 Eastern, Joe.
17:59That's Illinois taking on UConn right now.
18:01Currently trading.
18:02Illinois is the favorite.
18:03Chance to win?
18:0455% on the predictive market cashier here.
18:07And of course, UConn the dog at 45%.
18:09If we include the spread in this, Joe, Illinois favored by two and a half, currently trading
18:13at 49 cents, which means $100 investment on Illinois to win this game by three plus points.
18:20That would pay back 200, Joe, and $5.
18:24Yeah.
18:24So it's interesting here, Donnie, because I think it's clear that we've got a couple of
18:29things happening in the markets.
18:31Number one, you've got, I think, Arizona and Michigan overpriced a hair.
18:36I do think that Illinois and certainly UConn is definitely underpriced in these markets
18:42in a big, big way.
18:44So when you look at, unfortunately, for Michigan and Arizona, they got to play one another,
18:49right, Donnie, which is a bit of a problem.
18:52But Illinois and UConn are sitting here.
18:54That's where the value is to win the championship.
18:57Because whether it be in Arizona and Michigan, I have to, you know, they're going to have
19:03to feast upon one another to make it to the title game.
19:06That leaves the winner of this Illinois-UConn game to me, Donnie, where all the value is
19:11in the future market.
19:12I happen to think UConn is the team to look at because they're the lowest priced team
19:18right now.
19:18How they're getting points and are an underdog here, I don't know.
19:22But in the prediction markets, not only do I like them to beat Illinois, I like them
19:28to win it all, Donnie.
19:30And currently, the way they're priced, you could go ahead by picking them in the championship
19:35market as well and make yourself a pretty good profit without having to win the championship.
19:41And by the way, Joe, opening up some of these markets here on Cashing the Predictive
19:44Markets, how about the props and the mentions here, Joe?
19:48If an announcer or color commentator says record, buzzer, draft, drafted, recruit, recruited
19:53in recruitment, and many other things, an ankle, a double-double, a schedule, Joe, like
19:57let's just say, hey, UConn comes in with a good record.
20:00That's currently trading at 68%, a chance they'll say that.
20:04Also, ankle, which means it's an ankle injury that will come up.
20:07But also understand this, buzzer is currently trading at 61%, which means they know they're
20:12going to show the highlights, show this game from UConn and how they got into this by knocking
20:17off Duke, a shot right around the buzzer.
20:20Airball, airballed, all-American, anything you want, Joe, feels like it's in the prop market
20:25for this game.
20:26Fantastic stuff.
20:27Different way to watch it.
20:28Absolutely.
20:29I mean, those mentioned markets, very much a lot of fun, Donnie, to keep it going.
20:34And some of those mentions, you're going, how in the world do they not say these words
20:39in these phrases?
20:40So, yeah, I like that approach as well, especially the mentions correlate to who the winner is
20:46as well, Donnie.
20:47Keep that in mind.
20:49No doubt about it here.
20:50Michigan and Arizona, Joe, final four game number two.
20:53It's going to take place at 849 Eastern.
20:55That's Michigan and Arizona currently trading as the favorite at 52%.
20:58The Michigan Wolverines, Arizona currently trading at 48%.
21:02If we bring the spread in again, another low one here.
21:05Michigan by one and a half points currently trading at 49 cents.
21:09And, again, you can use these sliders, Joe.
21:11I think Michigan wins by four and a half or seven and a half points.
21:13Slide it up for the plus money here.
21:15But Michigan currently, Joe, trading as the favorite here going up against Arizona.
21:20And that was surprising, too, because a lot of people on the look ahead thought maybe Arizona
21:24would be the favorite, a slight favorite.
21:27But either which way, you got it, Donnie.
21:29I mean, look in the futures market here alone in the championship market.
21:34They're priced at about 34, 35 cents each.
21:37So there's not a lot separating these two.
21:40And if you truly think that whoever wins this game and you don't want to pick between these
21:46two, then just pick who you think is going to be the national champion and look to that
21:50market.
21:51Because I got to tell you, Donnie, that either of these teams are going to be the favorite
21:56against either Illinois or UConn.
21:59And I don't even think it's up for debate, which means they could go from 34, 35 cents
22:04to all of a sudden, you know, close to 60 cents when it's all said and done.
22:09So I do think that pick your winner here and then correlate that to the championship market
22:15and double your profits and double your fun if you're right here, Donnie, because I don't
22:21see a lot separating these two teams.
22:23And if you want to get into that mixed market again here on some of those mentions, how
22:26about the word elbow, Joe?
22:28Currently trading at 56%, which means an elbow jumper.
22:31You hurt your elbow, fouled on the elbow.
22:34Many different means there, but also one time you can cash out.
22:38A $100 wager would pay back at $173.
22:42Prediction market's edge on the early line, continues to roll along.
22:45And how about if I told you a game's going to be played today?
22:47Michigan versus Texas.
22:48Whoa, how did Texas get back in and why does Michigan have to play them again?
22:52But we're talking about women's college basketball, Elite 8 edition set to begin, Joe, in roughly
22:5810 hours, which is 7 p.m. Eastern here.
23:01Michigan, Texas, women's college basketball, Texas, an 80% chance to win this basketball game
23:08on the Cal State Marketplace.
23:09Michigan, Joe, only listed at 20%, but if we do include the spread, nine and a half point
23:14favorite for Texas currently trading at 52 cents.
23:17If you feel they're going to win this game by 10 plus points, $100 investment, Joe, would
23:21pay you back $193.
23:23Women's college basketball, Elite 8, gets underway tonight once again.
23:27Yeah, and while it's funny because we already have two number ones that have advanced, Donnie,
23:31in UConn and UCLA.
23:33Texas is number one.
23:35Michigan is number two here.
23:37So, and Texas has done nothing but just bulldoze everybody that they have come in contact
23:43with this month.
23:44So, I mean, this is their third straight trip to the Elite 8.
23:49They embarrassed Kentucky last game.
23:52This is a tough team to get in front of.
23:55Even, I mean, Michigan has been great this season, but it just feels like experience matters
24:00and nobody's got more of it than Texas in this spot.
24:03So, yeah, this game could get out of hand in a hurry here.
24:07Elite 8 starting back up tonight here.
24:10Powerhouse.
24:10South Carolina takes the court at 9 p.m.
24:12to take on TCU.
24:13And if we're looking at the predictive markets here, South Carolina, a 90% chance to win this
24:19basketball game.
24:1910% here on TCU.
24:21But if we include the spread here tonight, Joe, 13 and a half, roughly two touchdowns
24:26as a favorite for South Carolina, currently trading at 54%, which means a $100 investment
24:31on South Carolina win by two touchdowns tonight.
24:34That would pay you back 186, Joe.
24:38I mean, look at South Carolina, number one seed, right?
24:41We all know South Carolina has certainly has a championship pedigree, but Donnie, they have
24:47won to this particular point.
24:49They have outscored their opponents in the tournament by 135 points.
24:54That is absurd, Donnie, in three wins here.
24:58Now they're taking on number three TCU.
25:00Their spread tells you everything you need to know, right?
25:02Like they shouldn't even show up.
25:04I will see about that.
25:06You know, sometimes if you're, you're just rolling teams and never getting pushed, it's
25:11going to be interesting to see, can TCU keep this thing close enough to put a little pressure
25:16on South Carolina?
25:18Because nobody's been able to do it to this particular point.
25:21I think TCU might, uh, might punch back here a little bit against South Carolina.
25:26Let's get back to the men's game here, Joe, because we've got four teams left.
25:30They'll play in the final four this Saturday.
25:32Then the following Monday here, a week from tonight, you'll know your NCAA champion and you
25:36can invest in it here on the Cassie marketplace.
25:38And by the way, $201.9 million have been invested in this marketplace throughout the season on
25:44who is going to cut down the nets and be the men's college basketball champion.
25:47The current favorite is slightly is 35% chance with Arizona followed closely by Michigan at
25:5334%.
25:54Then you have Illinois and UConn, Joe, at 18 and 14% respectively.
26:00So this is the more exactly the point I was making here, Donnie, is that listen, take the
26:06Illinois and, uh, and UConn game.
26:09If you like UConn to make it to the national championship game, I mean, they're trading at
26:14what?
26:1414 cents right now.
26:16So that is by just getting to the game, Donnie, they, I don't care what the, and I don't think
26:22it'd be much more than a three or four point underdog here, uh, in that spot, no matter whether
26:28they play Arizona or Michigan.
26:30But I do think that that price from 14 cents would likely go to 35 cents, maybe even 40 cents
26:37just for making it to that particular point.
26:40So that's how I would approach the national championship market is who do you think is
26:45going to win?
26:46I still think it's a coin flip between Arizona and Michigan, but whoever wins that, Donnie,
26:52they're at 34, 35 cents.
26:53What are we waking up to them the next day?
26:5660 cents, 65 cents.
26:59Exactly.
27:00And if you're looking at a way to invest it there, and let's just say you think UConn's
27:02going to win it, Joe, a hundred dollar investment would pay back seven 15, but also understand
27:07this UConn plays that first game that plays that game in the final four.
27:10And it's up at the half that tickets automatically go from 14% to 16% to 18%.
27:15You don't even have to watch it play out.
27:16Just a different way of thinking here when you're trying to invest money, as opposed to
27:20watching it play out all the way to the end, you can jump out of those contracts.
27:23Certainly at any time, if it is to your benefit.
