00:00Let's check in with Rochelle for more tonight's weather forecast.
00:04Thank you, Nisha. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago.
00:08Here's what's happening in your weather.
00:10We're starting things off tonight with clear and cool conditions with a light breeze.
00:15There is a low chance of a few brisk showers during the early evening and pre-dawn hours
00:21with minimum temperatures of 23 degrees in Trinidad and 24 in Tobago.
00:27And tomorrow, our little friend Saharan dust is back, but only slightly, causing conditions to be hazy,
00:34along with some sun, wind and a few showers during the early morning and afternoon.
00:39When it comes to dust, sensitive persons should take the necessary precautions.
00:45Temperatures are expected at 31 degrees in Trinidad and 30 degrees in Tobago.
00:49Moving on now to our two-day forecast, where Thursday will mimic those same sunny, hazy and windy conditions
00:57with maximum temperatures of 31 degrees in both islands.
01:01But Friday, on the other hand, will give us a much cooler day with cloudy periods
01:07with the occasional shower expected to interrupt sunny and breezy conditions.
01:13Temperatures will come in at 31 degrees in Trinidad and 30 degrees in Tobago.
01:17Looking at our sun times now, in Trinidad, sunrise is at 6.15 and 6.12 in Tobago
01:23and sunset at 6.16 in Trinidad and 6.13 in Tobago.
01:29And with waters back to normal levels, here's what our seas are saying tomorrow.
01:34Seas are moderate with waves 2 metres to 2.5 metres in open waters
01:38and below 1 metre in sheltered areas.
01:41It's now time for your Tide Time.
01:53Have you guys ever heard of lightning crawls?
01:56Well, you're about to.
01:58In international news, lightning crawls occurred in Waco, Texas last night.
02:03Crawling lightning, also called anvil crawlers or spider lightning,
02:08is lightning that moves horizontally across the underside of the thunderstorm's anvil cloud.
02:13It spreads slowly in branch spiderweb patterns, making it easier to see than fast ground strikes.
02:22This happens because the electrical charge travels sideways through large areas of the cloud,
02:28often producing soft, rolling thunder.
02:31And just a little safety tip.
02:33Don't stop to watch.
02:34When thunder roars, go indoors.
02:37Well, that's all for weather tonight.
02:39Sachin, give us the rundown on what's to come in sports.
02:43Hey, Rochelle, love the turtle in the background, by the way.
02:45Well, it's a coming...
