The North Zone Youth Football League kicked off this weekend at Trinity College Moka Grounds.

It's a tournament that promises to spark new life in the game at a younger age. Two teams got off to the right start.

At the end of match day one Belmont Academy leads the standings in the Under 15 category AC Port of Spain leads the Under 17 table.

00:32In the under-15 division, Port of Spain City FC defeated D-Bay Dragons 5-0.
00:37Belmont Academy hammered Boyce Sports Coaching Club 8-0.
00:41Port of Spain City FC smashed Cardinals FA 7-2.
00:46Trent Setahawks FA secured a 4-1 win over MoCA Lions FC
00:51and Pro Series and Santa Cruz United FA played to a 3-0 draw.
