00:27So basically, the pitching coach, bullpen coach, assistant, all gone.
00:31They fired all the pitching coaches, because that's their problem here.
00:37Not the fact that they traded away Soriano, every leverage arm they have in the back end
00:43of that bullpen, which wasn't bad.
00:44They got a bunch of double-A pitchers out, but it's the pitching coaches.

00:57It's a mess, and it's been a mess for the Angels for a number of seasons.

04:46I think he stays because a part of me thinks that there's not a good enough
04:50replacement for that type of market.
04:53Like, you can't just bring in any coach to the Phillies that have these type
04:56of expectations.
04:57They continuously make the playoffs, but they simply can't get over the hump.
05:01You need to have some type of stability.
05:03So giving a first-year manager a shot at the head of things in a city like
05:08Philly, I don't think that plays.
05:10I think Don Mattingly will get extended at least for a couple years,
05:13two years, and then he retires ultimately.
