00:00But Munitaka Murakami, man, his 12th homer came in a huge, huge spot.
00:06The ballpark was practically empty.
00:08It was deep, deep into the night.
00:10And Munitaka Murakami in the seventh inning drilled a go-ahead homer on the White Sox,
00:15eventually won that one 8-7.
00:17Murakami has been a revelation and then some for the White Sox, man.
00:21Well, and he's an interesting one because I have a lot of confidence in Murakami being
00:26able to hit that second inning nobody on homer or because he's patient, but also he's going
00:32to crush mistakes.
00:33But in situations where it's a little bit higher leverage and relievers are more locked in on
00:38executing and not letting you beat them with the big swing, that's where I'm interested
00:44to see how Murakami can continue to develop in that context.
00:48And here he is coming up with a big swing as well.
00:51So I think it started in the beginning of the year of like, okay, we're seeing the swing
00:55start to come together.
00:56Who cares what the context is?
00:58Like Munitaka is looking like he can hit, you know, big league pitching, but now we're
01:01starting to see him, you know, put together really good at bats at leverage.
01:05And by the way, he's defending pretty well too.
01:08I know he's not playing third base, but like he's defending well.
01:13I love seeing him succeed at leverage because that was going to just be my big question.
01:16When the relievers are executing the stuffier guys, does that whiff rear its head?
01:21I'm sure it will at points, but this was a really good answer to that question.
