00:00The other piece I want to ask you on this reformatted schedule is particular to this event is if you
00:05start later, if they're like, you know, this is this was the seventh event of the calendar.
00:11Right. And a lot of guys, you know, Pearson Cootie, for example, played all six because he played so well
00:15in the first four.
00:15He got into the next two that were signature events.
00:18If you start later and this is the third event on the calendar, the fourth event on the calendar instead
00:23of the seventh, do you think guys say, oh, I'm willing to play a few more in a row and
00:27then go into Arnold Palmer invitational?
00:28I know this is all theoretical, but I'm just trying to kind of think about here's where we are now.
00:33Here's what we like about it. Here's where we could be going.
00:36If it's if it's guys that maybe some of those guys don't want to play Phoenix, you know, they want
00:40to play Amex, whatever it is.
00:41And this is like their second or third start of the year. Do you think you get more guys that
00:44way?
00:45I don't know. I'm not like super for, you know, just 100 guys playing the same events weekend week after
00:53week.
00:54I like the the additional storylines that you get in a week like this, you know, a player like Taylor
00:59Moore has everything to play for playing on conditional status.
01:03Like, let's say Joel Damon goes wins this week. Like, I love those storylines.
01:07And that's what the PGA Tour for me is all about is giving guys opportunities to play.
01:14And I know it goes against like what good businesses, you know, yeah, that's one of the things that they're
01:20trying to balance is how how we can have the most successful PGA Tour business model with having the most
01:28eligible playing opportunities for for these guys to be able to make a living and shrinking those opportunities.
01:36I'm not necessarily for I think there's a blend of it.
01:39You know, I don't want to just go all the way and just cut it all off to where, you
01:44know, we're seeing the same guys every single week and just you're just not getting those those incredible storylines.
01:51So I think it should always be on the schedule. Sony as well.
01:55These are great venues that that deserve to be tested by doesn't matter if it's the best players in the
02:00world.
02:01I want to see PGA Tour players playing at these spots.
02:03To play it forward to the signature event that we're headed to next in Orlando Bay Hill, the Arnold Palmer
02:10Invitational.
02:11Here is your next 10 as far as the latest projections are concerned.
02:16Jake Knapp, who's playing as good as he can play right now.
02:19Nico Echevarria, of course, just one here today.
02:22Minwoo Lee, Pearson Cootie, Rio Isatsune, Adam Scott, Aldrick Potgeeter, Austin Smotherman, who also played well this week.
02:31Matt McCarty and Sahith Tagala.
02:33Narrowly missing are Patrick Rogers and Nikolai Hoigar.
02:37Nico played played great to kind of close out this week as well.
02:39And Taylor Moore just narrowly misses as well.
02:41And then if we go down to the swing five.
02:43Well, actually, I should have held my my thoughts for that because top of the swing five is Nikolai Hoigar.
02:49So he gets in that way.
02:51And Patrick Rogers and Taylor Moore, the three that were like the first three out.
02:54In addition to Keith Mitchell was the fourth out.
02:57And then the fifth there being Andrew Putnam.
02:59So how about that list?
03:01This I love the next 10 in the swing five.
03:04I do, too.
03:04And that's why these events are so important to give guys opportunities to play.
03:09So I think that just kind of answers your question about what I think about this event and where it
03:14stands.
03:15And I think credit where credit's due.
03:16You know, we there's been a lot of, you know, schedule changes, you know, format changes, field size changes that
03:23have been head scratching.
03:24You know, how, you know, Matt McNeely coming in and smoothing out the points given on certain events because there
03:29was unfair balance.
03:30So this is of all the changes that the tours made, this has been a really good one to create
03:35those pathways into some of these events.
