00:05all right NFL combine all wrapped up now the Giants can look ahead to free agency before
00:11April's draft so we're going to talk draft some potential cap casualties and all of the major
00:17reports coming out of combine week and how they could affect the Giants with our Giants beat
00:22writer for the post Paul Schwartz we'll call this a a post combine blue rush Paul uh welcome back
00:29man I guess real quick like just how how was the combine was it anything and everything that you
00:34thought it would be well um it was there in Indianapolis and I'm glad I could make it because
00:41as you remember last week right last week uh big snowstorm Sunday night into Monday I was supposed
00:47to leave Monday so I switched the flight and was able to get out on Sunday um happily you know
00:52never
00:52been more happy to touch down in the great city of Indianapolis because that meant I made it to the
00:57combine and look we can joke around the combo joke about the combine but it is a very very valuable
01:03place to be at um not only getting a firsthand look at some of the prospects you know just standing
01:09at
01:09the podium and listening to a guy for 10 minutes gives me vibes you know and sometimes they're right
01:15and sometimes they're not right but I look back at some of the podiums I've stood by over the years
01:20and
01:20sometimes those vibes really prove correct so I like doing that with these prospects um obviously we get
01:26to speak with Joe Shane we get to speak with John Harbaugh we get to go out to dinner and
01:31um in the
01:32highways and byways and alleyways and passageways of downtown Indianapolis there's a lot of um whispering
01:39going on a lot of um agents meeting with with teams and talking about free agency so there's a lot
01:46going
01:46on it's important to be there and um Brandon I can tell you definitely a different vibe with John
01:51Harbaugh as the head coach um you can sense it from the prospects when they talk about meeting with
01:56the Giants and they all say how impressed and excited they were to meet John Harbaugh no um disrespect of
02:02the other coaches the Giants have had but you know John Harbaugh is John Harbaugh and he he resonates
02:07with um young players uh he resonates with veterans and um he resonates with GMs and people who are all
02:14um assembled at uh the combine Indianapolis so definitely a different vibe this year all right let's talk about
02:20some of these prospects because when we saw a lot of these videos a lot of these guys are asked
02:24what
02:24would they bring to the Giants whether it be the Giants offense or the defense and what was it like
02:29or that interview like or meeting John Harbaugh and all every single one of these guys had nothing but
02:36great things to say about Harbaugh and I feel like a lot of these guys impressed the Giants brass as
02:44well
02:44because they backed up their tape with their measurements and a lot of their testing numbers
02:48now again like you said you spoke to a lot of people behind the scenes so who do you think
02:54kind of impressed the Giants that you're kind of surprised about that you weren't really taking
03:00you didn't really have an eye on at first but after you know talking to people behind the scenes and
03:06seeing and talking with that prospect uh that you you think that the Giants are kind of taking the eye
03:12eye out this kid come draft day well um I put it this way I didn't go into the last
03:18week thinking
03:18you know I think um inside linebackers a spot they're going to target really early I know they
03:23want to change their inside linebackers we'll talk about that and we talk about free agency but um look
03:29I mean there's no secret that Sonny Stiles um from Ohio State was the talk of the combine and the
03:36Giants
03:36had him in um I mean I was standing around his podium and and I mean I was I don't
03:42know I if I
03:42was more ready to to have the Giants take him at number five or to vote for him from some
03:47public
03:48office I mean he I don't like when you know Brandon I don't know about you when people say he
03:52said all
03:52the right things it kind of sounds a little phony right like he said all the right things but not
03:57everything that he's feeling I don't feel that at all with Sonny Stiles I mean the guy is um he's
04:03very
04:03eloquent he's very um poised uh very classy he's just you know he's a great looking athlete and then
04:11you know I talked to him and then a couple of days later he goes to work out and he
04:15just blows it up
04:16I mean blows up this guy was a safety at Ohio State um they said we need to move you
04:21to linebacker
04:22the guys the Giants had him at 6'4 he's listed at 6'5 I think he measured it right
04:28around 6'5 he's about
04:29243 pounds I mean he looks like a supreme athlete he is a supreme athlete I mean high jump long
04:35jump
04:36whatever uh you know 40 yard dash he's you know setting all kinds of standards now and and he can
04:42play all three linebacker positions he he was mainly an outside guy this past year as a senior he went
04:49inside um and we talked a lot early in the week on Tuesday to Joe Shane and especially John Harbaugh
04:55about the run defense the Giants were 35th 31st against the run in 2025 abysmal right it's been
05:03very bad for four or five years I don't think they've been higher than about 25th so Sonny Stiles
05:08is a guy who can help stop the run um you know I wonder a little bit a little bit
05:14we talk so much
05:15about versatility he can do it all and you get a little bit of those like Isaiah Simmons vibes
05:19a little bit of like okay um he can do it all but can he do anything great um you
05:25know I think
05:26Sonny Stiles is the kind of athlete and he looks like a powerful guy he did not miss one tackle
05:31this
05:31past season not one now he missed a big one in the playoff game against Miami okay that's like saying
05:38Brandon I scouted every one of your plays in college this past year and you didn't have one drop
05:45and then you had one drop in a playoff game okay that's the exception um he doesn't miss tackle so
05:52um
05:52did I think going into this he'd be at play at five maybe as an outside chance after leaving
05:59Indianapolis I think definitely in play and I think it helps that the Jets traded away an edge rusher
06:07and so the Jets more likely at number two will take an edge rusher with Brent uh with um you
06:14know
06:14Brian Burns or with Kayvon Thibodeau and with Abdul Carter if there's a really good edge rusher sitting
06:19there for the Giants I think they would pass on him and trade down or just not take him I
06:23don't
06:24think they're going to take another edge rusher uh so um Sonny Stiles at five definitely in play
06:30yeah Sonny Stiles Paul when you look at him especially on tape because yeah I watched Ohio State
06:37football I knew who he was but I was doing an Arville Reese breakdown going through his tape
06:42and I just kept looking like who is this Stiles dude he's all over the field and I think Denard
06:48Wilson is going to love this kid I feel like there's going to have to be some business decisions
06:52made we'll talk about that to bring him in to make sure they lock him up at five because the
06:57one thing
06:57he does like you said does a lot of things well he can blitz him plays the run agile he's
07:04east west but
07:04the way he just plays in space in the passing game he'll drop to a spot play underneath some of
07:11the
07:11deeper intermediate routes and then if you try and dump it off to like a running back with a check
07:16check down or a shallow cross he rallies and makes the tackle right there at the spot I think you
07:23know
07:23with with Bobby I mean not Bobby but Micah McFadden him being hurt I felt like the Giants missed a
07:29lot
07:29in that second level because Bobby Okereke was getting teamed up with uh Musau and you know some of those
07:36other guys and it just made a weird dynamic on that second level and I felt like Bobby Okereke was
07:42having
07:42to wear too many hats trying to do too much and he kind of got I don't want to say
07:46exposed it was just
07:47he was out of place at times so I think it's if Sonny Stiles falls to five forget the Carnell
07:54tape
07:54forget all forget all that I think you got to bring this kid in because if you I get we'll
08:01get into it
08:01but this kid is this this kid what he looked like his measurements and the on the field it definitely
08:06backed up his tape and that kind of goes into the whole salary cap cuts and the potential casualties
08:13because all throughout the weekend I believe Saturday Sunday we saw the reports uh coming out of there
08:19that that the Giants could potentially cut Bobby Okereke or even Devin Singletary those are two of the
08:26names we saw over the weekend so because of Sonny Stiles's legendary combine do you now think that
08:34Bobby Okereke could potentially be a cap casualty and did you hear any other potential names out of
08:40outside of those two yeah um look as you know Brandon guys at this time of the year become contract
08:48numbers right you know it's like tackles receptions touchdowns that's for the season after the season
08:54its salary cap number what can we save I mean not for um you know not for Andrew Thomas you
09:00know but
09:01but for players who might be on that bubble um Bobby Okereke if they cut him the Giants will create
09:07nine million dollars in cap space um Devin Singletary if the Giants cut him that will save around five
09:13million in caps cap space that's 14 million right there um I would be surprised if both of those players
09:20are not cap casualties okay because the Giants need money and um I believe that John Harbaugh wants
09:26to completely revamp the inside linebacker position okay he wants big bodies you know Darius Mewisow is
09:31not a big body I think uh Mike McFadden could come back on a small deal because he's coming off
09:38you
09:38know major foot surgery um but I think that would be a role that he would get paid for to
09:44be a guy who
09:45competes for a linebacker job and to play special teams you know what I mean and if he starts that's
09:50great but I don't think the Giants would go into the offseason and say we want to re-sign Mike
09:55McFadden
09:56we want to sign him to a three-year deal and have him be one of our starting linebackers I
10:00don't
10:00think that's the direction they'll go so you'll need two or three new inside linebackers Sonny
10:05Stiles could certainly come into play they could sign a guy you know a mid-level guy in free agency
10:10so I think uh Okereke and you know let's say Devon Singletary just there's no role for him you know
10:15there's really no role for him there was only a role last year because there were injuries Tyrone
10:19Tracy Cam Scatterboo they will add another running back so um you know in the draft or free agency I
10:25don't think it's going to be Kenneth Walker for 15 million dollars a year I don't think that um and
10:30I
10:30don't think it's going to be Jeremiah Love from um Notre Dame at number five I don't although he's a
10:35great
10:35player and the Giants think he's a great player I think um taking a running back there at number
10:40five is just not going to be the way the Giants are going to go there um other other cap
10:45situations
10:47that I'm monitoring I think very likely the Giants will have two new kickers next year a new kicker and
10:53a new punter I think that is um something that probably will happen if you know Graham Gano has
10:59been an incredibly reliable steady kicker but he's just been too injury prone and he's getting up there
11:03in age uh the Giants would save about four and a half million dollars if they cut Graham Gano
11:08and I don't think that John Harbaugh don't forget John Harbaugh was a special teams coordinator for
11:15years with the Eagles right and special teams is near and dear to his heart I don't think Jamie
11:20Gillen is what he's looking for as a punter uh if they would cut Jamie Gillen they'd save around
11:25three million dollars so that's you know four that's seven and a half million dollars savings on you
11:31know kicker and a punter and then they um you know maybe they go with Ben Sauls I heard um
11:36he has
11:36some advocates in the building to be a guy who will compete for a job at kicker he was I
11:41think eight
11:41for eight last year the lefty um not ideal to have a lefty kicker because it's just not ideal for
11:48a lot
11:48of reasons for the holder for the snapper and for um if you bring another kicker in then everyone's
11:53got to switch it around but I think there will be competition but I think Ben Sauls will be given
11:57a
11:57chance and um I think there'll be a new punter next year as well you know how you talk about
12:02uh how
12:03John Harbaugh can kind of switch things up when it comes to the linebacker structure once bigger
12:08linebackers in there you mentioned Micah McFadden possibly staying on on a lesser of a deal what about
12:14the safety structure because defense coordinator Denard Wilson has a secondary background I know Javon
12:21Holland's back there Tyler Newben's back there but if Caleb Downs is floating at number five
12:27do you see Harbaugh and these guys kind of making a play on another Ohio State player
12:33here's the I tell you one thing we can talk about Ohio State players and take up a whole podcast
12:39right you know Arvel Reese Caleb Downs Sonny Stiles I mean you know how do they ever give up a
12:44first down
12:44I mean those three guys are going to be top 10 picks from the same defense they may be top
12:49seven picks
12:49from the same defense you know it's just incredible talent assembled there in Columbus Ohio
12:55um look Caleb Downs is in play I think now now people say well wait a second uh doesn't Joe
13:00Shane
13:00uh position uh you know value and safety they didn't sign Xavier McKinney that's in free agency
13:07right you know now the whole league does not value safeties the way they value other positions
13:14the highest safety drafted um since 2017 was number seven I believe yes Jamal no number six Jamal Adams
13:25number six by the Jets in 2017 uh since then no safety has ever gone that high so if the
13:32Giants take
13:33Caleb Downs at five that is an outlier for what the league says a safety is worth and where he
13:39should
13:39be picked okay it's just not done very often in the top five um now you say okay is Caleb
13:44Downs a safety
13:46just a safety just a safety right um well he's a very special player his father you know I my
13:52first
13:53year covering the Giants was 1994 okay the Giants third round pick in 1994 was a tough running back from
14:01North Carolina State named Gary Downs wow okay Gary Downs is Caleb Downs's father he played in 94 for
14:11the Giants and he played in 96 for the Giants he was not a big time player but I remember
14:16them drafting
14:16him you know you always kind of remember your first draft right you know you remember um you know who
14:20they drafted and and things like that so I remember Gary Downs 94 so there's a connection there with the
14:26Giants okay long ago and obviously we know you know Josh Downs is a you know good young you know
14:33two-year receiver for the Colts so when I was around Caleb Downs um Downs is I guess you got
14:39to put the
14:39apostrophe there uh podium you know he was all business you know he's wearing his glasses which
14:44he doesn't wear in the games obviously you know he's what six foot 205 pounds you know he looks like
14:50an
14:50ordinary player but you know it's interesting these top players when you get this massive media around
14:55you get a lot of did you meet with the Bucks did you meet with the rain you know did
15:00you meet with
15:00the Ravens did you meet with the Giants what did you think of Harbaugh what did you think of uh
15:04this
15:04guy what did you think of that guy and he becomes kind of like a carnival a little bit you
15:08know and
15:08and Caleb Downs you know has a lot of information from his family about how to handle these interviews
15:15right so he comes up there to the podium right away he says okay let me just say right away
15:19and this
15:19wasn't wasn't you know militant and it wasn't angry it was just very factual he said I met with
15:25about a dozen teams okay and I'm going to leave it at that you know I'm not going to start
15:30entertaining
15:30questions about did you meet with this team did you meet with that team and what did you think
15:34I met with about a dozen teams and we'll just go from there and now did that stop people from
15:40asking
15:40him did he meet with this team did he meet with that team um no but it mitigated it and
15:45it kind of put
15:46him in a power position right away and it told me this guy knows what it's like to be a
15:52pro right
15:52he has taken control of his situation this you know the the the you know the interviews are very
15:57important uh the the um you know the the media sessions are you know important to a certain extent
16:03you can hurt yourself I guess if you you know if you come across like an idiot or like you
16:08know
16:08you're too cool for anything and he came across very professional um you know talking about his
16:13family talking about you know um he was asking you think you're the best defensive player in this
16:17draft and he said well my tape you know shows for itself what I am and he basically said do
16:23I think
16:24that any player here is better than me no I don't he's saying he thinks he's the best defensive player
16:29in this draft and you know what he might be right um I don't think they giants would discount him
16:34because he's a safety um I'd be I would say marginally surprised if they took him at five but
16:40depending on who goes if Sonny Styles is gone and Reese is gone and you know uh just the defensive
16:46players coming off the board um if uh maybe uh Cornell Tate will talk about I don't know if the
16:51Giants would take him at five but I think they're obviously very interested in getting a receiver we'll
16:56see what happens in free agency you know they need a running mate from Malik neighbors they just do they
17:00don't have a number two receiver right now um so but I would not be shocked at all if they
17:05took
17:06Caleb Downs he's a terrific player like like so he's a safety that you keep on the field all three
17:10downs and Sonny Styles is a linebacker you keep on the field all three downs and I do think that
17:17John
17:17Harbaugh is not ready to throw away Tyler Newbin but I believe he thinks he's more of a box defender
17:24okay so if you would take a Caleb Downs then you have you know Javon Holland deep you have Caleb
17:30Downs
17:30doing you know a little bit of everything what you need and you have Newbin who can play in a
17:35specialized role more as a box defender I think they like him there this new defense against the run
17:40uh just not deep because he hasn't shown that ability right now at this point and that may not be
17:46a
17:46demotion for Newbin that may be you know someone identifying what your weaknesses are and trying to
17:52protect the player let's get you around the box because how many times Paul last year did we see
17:57Newbin from you know that that safety position what 12 to 18 yards down the field
18:03now come down run the alley to try and make a tackle and take a bad angle so now instead
18:09of
18:09having him high trying to come low let's already have you down in the box and kind of play that
18:14that
18:14hybrid backer safety position and let's get the best out of you so it may be a good thing you
18:19know it's
18:20you know we we never know if Caleb Downs get drafted how that will help the backhand um so I
18:25mean a lot of
18:26time we have between between now and the draft and obviously we've got you know free agency coming up
18:31who are the Giants going to re-sign we've got Wondell Robinson Cordell Flott and Jermaine Illuminor
18:38all these guys are up for new deals there's a report out that the Titans could be going all the
18:44way in for Wondell Robinson and reuniting him with Brian Dable so who do you think the Giants are going
18:51to prioritize out of those three and who do you think they just let walk well I um you know
18:58John
18:58Harper was asked you know directly about those three players and he said I want them all back
19:02and you can say okay that's just a coach saying he wants the players back but they're not his players
19:07right you know you know they they were the core of of players of of of a team that has
19:12not won many
19:12games so Arbaugh could look at those three guys and and kind of off the cuff or say off the
19:18podium
19:20look they're decent players and they're good players but you know we can we could you know
19:25they lost a lot of games with them so I'm not that interested in bringing them back he said he
19:28wants
19:28them all back those three guys depending on where the money goes okay I think if I would prioritize
19:33what the Giants think about them I think it would be Flott number one because they don't have a
19:39cornerback and I think they like him I think John Harbaugh likes him we'll see where that money goes
19:44okay Wondell Robinson um I think the Giants would be willing to pay like 13 14 million a year I
19:51really
19:51do I think if it gets to 16 17 18 they will say goodbye to him and I was told
19:57that Matt Nagy's
19:58offense that small slot receiver is not going to be a huge priority okay it's nice and you know
20:06Wondell has shown he doesn't only have to be a slot guy but you know Brian Dable made that a
20:11priority
20:12they drafted Wondell Robinson who's about five foot eight and a half right you know we know how
20:16short he is and Dable said no no I can make him work in my offense and at times he
20:22did and at times
20:23he didn't the last two years more so he did he finally cracked a thousand yards he finally cracked
20:27you know uh 10 yards a car 10 yards a catch he had 11 last year so he did more
20:32things right and he
20:34stayed healthy you know we know Wondell's not small he's short you know he's a stocky strong guy he's
20:39just short um so I think the Giants would take him back but they still think they need a number
20:44two receiver even if they re-sign him so I don't know I don't think they can go you know
20:50break the
20:50bank for him good player good guy they want him back but um you know Harbaugh has already said that
20:57um I don't think that that's that's a priority in the Matt Nagy offense okay so you have to take
21:02that
21:02now um Jermaine Illuminor the right tackle Harbaugh knows him he played for him within Baltimore so um
21:09I believe he thinks that Illuminor is a good player um kind of a mid-level right tackle so if
21:15if they can
21:15get him back for mid-level right tackle money I think they'll do it uh Jermaine Illuminor thinks he's one
21:21of the best right tackles in the league if his money starts you know moving up towards that um then
21:28I think
21:29the Giants will be out because I think they think he's a good player and they want him back but
21:34they're not going to um if his value is one of the best right tackles in the league and it's
21:39inching up
21:39to that I think the Giants will fall out of that well I think of Wondale Robinson and how he
21:45could fit
21:45in this Matt Nagy offense he's not a short I mean he's not a speed guy like a McCole Hardman
21:51or a Kadarius Tony you know so yeah I I feel as though like a Brian David was going to
21:58want to
21:58throw some little extra money at him to bring him in with the Cam Ward to get Cam Ward some
22:03sort of
22:04safety blanket in those intermediate throws plus Titans got a lot of money under that salary cap
22:11to throw around so I think in Wondale is definitely may be that casualty in terms of a guy that
22:16they
22:17don't resign lastly Paul because we're all talking about what this working dynamic was going to be like
22:24amongst the Giants brash all the Joe Shane got a demotion he said it with his chest I am the
22:31captain
22:31still I am still the GM you got your first look into how the football and business operations are going
22:39to
22:39look like under John Harbaugh so what did you see learn here about this whole reporting structure
22:47with Joe Shane Donna Don Aponte who's the senior VP of football operations and strategy and John Harbaugh
22:57I think it's going well so far you know from both sides I think it's going well look Donna Aponte
23:02was
23:02hired for the exact same role that Kevin Abrams held for two decades okay now she has experience with
23:09three NFL teams she has extensive experience with the league the thing is the the the job right now
23:17is bigger okay it is just bigger under John Harbaugh he has a bigger operation now he's he has the
23:24same
23:24amount of coaches 23 I believe it is that that Brian Dable had but did you see he hired last
23:31week
23:32five new analysts okay five new analysts these are newly created positions okay so
23:38I said okay let me see what the backgrounds is for these analysts and all five of them are coaches
23:43they're guys who were quarterbacks coaches position coaches they're not you know salary guys or they're
23:49not you know you know um IT guys they're coaches so I wondered well how are they analysts well the
23:56Giants would call those guys coaches Harbaugh calls them analysts okay he wants a big program
24:02more analysts um Mike McDonald right who just won a Super Bowl as the second year head coach of the
24:09Seahawks he started in Baltimore for Harbaugh as one of these analysts now McDonald was a coach but
24:16they call them analysts and they analyze and break down the game from a coach's point of view and that
24:23gives the coaching staff more information Harbaugh is an information guy so you know when we hear that
24:30Donna Ponte is going to be in charge of you know um video is going to report to her I
24:34think equipment
24:35you know maybe grounds and things like that it's all a bigger operation he's hired more people for
24:41training staff nutrition um you know Harbaugh was very adamant about I want the weight room to be my
24:48weight room okay I want my strength and conditioning guy that's things he believes in and that's things
24:54that quite frankly the Giants ownership had to you know painstakingly go through to see how much are we
24:59giving him here how much are we giving him he wants this this this this it is adding to the
25:04budget
25:04okay five new analysts aren't coming for free those are new positions so you know he had to explain why
25:11it's important so this is my way of saying that they took some of this off of Joe of Joe
25:18Shane's plate
25:20there's too much now Dawn Aponte can do some of this because the job is bigger okay the player
25:26procurement is still going to be and and and John Harbaugh said it it's mainly me and Joe that's who
25:34does the draft that's who picks the players that's who decides in free agency now Dawn Aponte is a great
25:41resource and I think the Giants are going to do some different things cap wise and contract wise that
25:46they did in the past because John Harbaugh looked at this and said they're a little bit too old school
25:52here with how they design contracts and and attack the salary cap we can do things more efficiently
25:58and more state of the art so Dawn Aponte is here for that that's a positive right that's a positive
26:05you know the Giants don't have great salary cap space this year uh with a team that's bad that's
26:10not great John Harbaugh would rather have more cap space and the Giants don't have a lot of draft picks
26:16right they don't have a third round pick they traded that for Jackson Dart that's fine they don't have
26:20a seventh round pick the Giants could use more picks um when Joe Shane came in they had 11 picks
26:25right he created space for 11 picks and those guys became you know interesting players the guys at the
26:31top maybe not so much but you have add depth Harbaugh would like more picks he's frustrated they don't
26:37have more picks he would like more salary cap space so I think this this you know the reporting thing
26:42look John Harbaugh had had the had the um gravitas and had the leverage to ask for it that's what
26:48he
26:48wanted that's what he got that's what happens when you pay your guy 100 million dollars he gets that
26:53stuff but I don't think him being here and this reporting structure has a whole lot to do with
26:59Joe Shane and John Harbaugh working together to build this roster so basically Paul and correct me
27:07if I'm wrong I'm gonna wrap this up um so basically John Harbaugh just pulled the Giants
27:13into NFL football 2026 he just modernized now Joe Shane did a lot of that you know he did a
27:22lot of
27:22that you know they were really behind in the times with technology and things and you know I you know
27:28I remember you know John Harbaugh at his introductory press conference said the Giants have this sports
27:33science staff here we didn't even have that in Baltimore you know now John Harbaugh thought that
27:38the training staff and and and things needed to be updated and enlarged and things like that but
27:44yes John Harbaugh came in and said I have a system that worked in Baltimore for 18 years they only
27:51won
27:51one Super Bowl there but they were a consistently winning team um and a big program and he wanted to
27:57bring that to the Giants and he didn't hire four quarterbacks coaches you know now his coaching staff
28:04has a ton of guys who've been head coaches or offensive coordinators and that has to mesh so
28:09he had to be able to bring in guys on the coaching staff for big salaries and he was able
28:14to do that
28:14and he just was able to say look I want to expand this and it's going to cost more money
28:19and we want more
28:21technology and this is what I think we need to do to win and if the Giants says well we
28:26kind of don't
28:26believe in that we believe in the the GM and he kind of controls the roster and he's the final
28:33say
28:33and the head coach kind of falls in line you know what if you had if we got Tom Coughlin
28:39on this
28:40podcast and we gave him some what a sodium pentothal that makes people tell the truth
28:44um and he's even said it you know without any any any any nudging he was frustrated by the structure
28:51he thought as a head coach he wanted a little more say or maybe a lot more say but he
28:57and Ernie
28:57of course he worked it out he and Jerry Reese worked it out but did did John did Tom Coughlin
29:03get everything he wanted with the Giants no and he was frustrated by that and so um John Harbaugh had
29:11had had you know had the um you know the the ability to get what he wanted and he did
29:17so yes
29:17there will be changes a lot of them behind the scenes that we don't notice that will go into effect
29:22that he feels will bring the Giants up to be more competitive because let's face it they have not
29:27been competitive enough on the field the last decade well fans wanted change and in the words
29:33of Sam Cooke change gonna come it's here now in the form of the 20 million dollar a year man
29:38uh all
29:39good reports coming out of Indianapolis with the combine uh thank you Paul for hopping on with us
29:44and thank you guys for watching our post combine blue rush
29:48you
