00:00Isolated tornadoes, flooding, hail, damaging wind, it's all in the forecast this week from the Texas Hill Country through much
00:05of the plains and into the Ohio Valley.
00:07Several rounds of storms will bring the threat for downed trees, power outages, and water-covered roads.
00:12From St. Louis to Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Columbus, and just south of Pittsburgh, 1 to 7 inches of rain could fall
00:17by Thursday.
00:18That's more than enough to trigger flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
00:22The severe threat ramps up Wednesday into at least Friday from Austin to St. Louis.
00:26Strong wind gusts can cause damage, hail could dent cars and roofs, and a few tornadoes can't be ruled out.
00:32As we head into the weekend, the flooding threat grows and shifts south, with the biggest flooding threat into the
00:36Texas Hill Country through Dallas and much of Arkansas.
00:39We're talking rising creeks and even larger rivers like the Ohio and Mississippi becoming a concern.
00:44Now, this is not a quick hit. It's an active stretch of weather that could bring impacts now into next
00:49week.
00:49So make sure you're staying weather aware with multiple waves to receive watches and warnings.
