01:51So my guest today is a multi-award winning trans performer with over 200 scenes under her belt,
01:58fresh off of a major XMA win and currently nominated across multiple categories at the
02:04Trans Erotica Awards in, I think, two weeks.
02:07But behind the accolades is somebody who's entered the industry young, learned fast, and
02:12built a career through skill, resilience, and range.
02:15Today, we're talking growth, craft, chaos on set, and what it actually takes to last.
02:20Welcome the beautiful Jade Venus to the show.
02:24Hi.
02:24Hi.
02:27Jade, I'm very excited to have you here.
02:28Oh my God, I'm excited for you to have me.
02:30Every time I've had the opportunity to interview you on the red carpet, you've always been
02:35not only like one of the most stunning creatures on the carpet.
02:40Oh, I won't stop.
02:41You're going to get so many compliments today.
02:43I'll take them.
02:44You're not going to be able to fit your head out of the door.
02:45All right, I'll take it.
02:47But you're also like really funny, you know, you've got a great sense of humor.
02:51And I always really enjoy interviewing you.
02:55You're usually with Ariel, who of course-
02:56Wow, we're bad together.
02:58We like to bounce off each other.
03:00Yes.
03:00It's real crazy stuff.
03:01I know, which is great.
03:02We love that.
03:03But I was like, I got to give her her own hour.
03:07I got to sit down with just Jade.
03:09Get her to myself today, Ariel.
03:11Sorry.
03:12You can have her back after this.
03:14So I'm excited to have you here.
03:16So I guess let's start from the beginning, as we often do here on the show.
03:20So you're originally from Montana.
03:22So what was your life like before the industry?
03:24And how different is it now?
03:26Oh, it's just dreadful.
03:27I don't know if you've ever been to Montana.
03:29Oh, God, don't.
03:31Unless you want to go in like the summer and do like a little camping moment in Glacier.
03:35It's fab.
03:35But yeah, I grew up in like a really small town called Malta.
03:41Montana is just full of hicks.
03:43Real crazy stuff.
03:45And I moved out of there and went to Missoula at like 12 or something.
03:49That's like the cool place in Montana, right?
03:51Missoula is like the hippie area.
03:53It's the little blue dot, if you will.
03:56We had like three high schools there.
03:58The high school I went to was called Hellgate.
04:00Wait, for real?
04:02Hellgate.
04:03It was the artsy one that all the gays went to.
04:05Okay.
04:06But yeah, it was whatever.
04:07A lot of bullying.
04:08I came out as trans at 12.
04:11So Montana wasn't used to that.
04:13It was kind of a lot for them.
04:15But yeah, I had a trans friend growing up and also my friend Tori Easton.
04:21We grew up together, came out around the same time.
04:24We're both, she's not from Montana, but she moved there.
04:27Oh God, I don't know when, but we met in middle school.
04:30And yeah, if I didn't have her girl, I would have been fucked.
04:34Montana was tough.
04:35But yeah, the moment I turned 18, I fled to San Luis Obispo first.
04:40And then LA.
04:42Why San Luis Obispo?
04:43Did you go to college out there?
04:44No, so I had this like crazy abusive ex-boyfriend in Montana and he did some crazy things, got
04:51arrested, tried to kill me, whatever.
04:55You're like, whatever.
04:56It's fine.
04:57He got what he deserved.
04:58He's still in prison.
04:59Wonderful.
05:00But yeah, I was really wanting to move to California and I was talking to this client
05:04on Seeking Arrangement.
05:07I know that saying.
05:08Oh yeah, me too, girl.
05:09That's what paid my bills in high school.
05:11Yeah, I was talking to this client and he offered to like move me there and live, be
05:16his live-in whore for a little bit, if you will.
05:19So yeah, I went and stayed with him for like three months and then I, there were some disagreements,
05:26if you will.
05:27So yeah, I got my own apartment.
05:29Were you scared to move in?
05:30Oh no, no, he was very docile.
05:34He was just a sweet man.
05:37Oh God.
05:38But yeah, I moved into college housing over there at Cal Poly.
05:42So I like hung out with the college kids and like worked at Abercrombie and like pretended
05:47I did college.
05:48And then COVID happened.
05:49So it was just fun, girl.
05:51There was this nude beach down there called Pirate's Cove.
05:53I don't know if you've heard of that.
05:55But we'd go down there and get wasted on some, what are they called?
05:58Alcohol seltzer.
06:00Oh, like a Zima.
06:02A White Claw.
06:03So good.
06:03Zima is my time.
06:05I haven't tried a Zima.
06:06Zima was the drink like back when I was in college, which was a long time ago.
06:10I'll have to do a little research.
06:11I don't even know if they sell it anymore.
06:13Oh, I'll find it.
06:14Okay.
06:14Okay.
06:15Yeah.
06:15Zima.
06:16I think Zima was our version of White Claw back in the day.
06:19Yeah.
06:19I don't partake in the devil's liquid anymore, but it's fun to sample here and there.
06:25Okay.
06:25So you said it was rough growing up in Montana and you came out trans at 12.
06:31Like, what did that look like?
06:32Did you talk to your parents first or like, how did that go?
06:35My dad was never around, so he wouldn't have liked it, but who cares?
06:40But my mom was so supportive.
06:43She kind of figured when I came out, she's like, oh, because I came out as gay for like
06:46literally two months.
06:47And then I found out what trans was online.
06:51And she's like, yeah, this makes more sense.
06:53And so she's a fun biker lady.
06:55So she thought it was cool.
06:57Getting hormones was a bitch though.
06:59Like I came out at 12, didn't get hormones for like a year because insurance wouldn't
07:06cover it and we didn't make the most money.
07:08So yeah, Montana was a little strict with the hormones and I hear they're not giving hormones
07:12to children anymore in certain states.
07:14Yeah.
07:14I lucked out, I guess.
07:15Yeah.
07:16I mean, there's a lot of controversy around that, obviously.
07:20Clearly, you felt it was the right choice for you.
07:22Absolutely.
07:23Was there ever a moment where you weren't sure or you doubted it?
07:27You just knew absolutely.
07:28I can't speak for anyone else, but girl, I came out of the womb cross-dressing.
07:31I was like four and I'd asked my grandma for dresses and stuff.
07:36Loved my grandma.
07:37She was fabulous.
07:38But yeah, girl, I knew.
07:40Yeah.
07:40Couldn't tell me nothing.
07:41Yeah.
07:42So it wasn't like a phase, as some people like to say, it is for people.
07:45Yeah.
07:46And the therapy was like really extensive.
07:48Okay.
07:49It took a year to get hormones.
07:51So like, yeah, once again, I can't speak for anyone else, but it was the best decision
07:55for me.
07:56Right.
07:56I probably wouldn't be here now if I couldn't come out around that time.
08:00And being able to transition early was probably helpful in the transition, right?
08:07Yeah.
08:07Because like if you wait until later, it's harder to...
08:10Yeah.
08:10It's good to like stop the puberty at a younger age if you want to be a dapper young lady,
08:16I guess.
08:17Were there any things that were like that you weren't expecting that were just like physically
08:22difficult?
08:23No, not really.
08:24Oh, I mean, I guess like you get tired and you lose all your muscle mass, but I was kind
08:28of hoping for that.
08:29Yeah.
08:31Yeah.
08:31I don't know.
08:32I guess I was, I still was like younger on, so I didn't really have much physical to
08:38begin with.
08:39Yeah.
08:39So yeah, I didn't notice too many changes other than like the skin softening and stuff.
08:43So yeah.
08:44Right, right.
08:45Nothing bad.
08:46Looking back, do you feel like you had to grow up faster than most people your age?
08:50God, my mom was kind of a mess back in the day.
08:53She's all good now, but you know, we had it a little tough.
08:57So she, she went off and did her own thing.
09:01And when I was like 16, I had like the place to myself and I was getting my dad's like
09:09death
09:09money to pay for the run.
09:10So that was fine.
09:12But yeah, I had like my besties move in with me and it was cute.
09:15So I had to grow up very fast, but I, I met, I did with it what I could and
09:20it was very
09:20fun.
09:21Yeah.
09:21How do you think that that childhood like shapes who you are today?
09:25Like what are some of the traits that you have?
09:27You think like you can actually maybe thank for a harder childhood?
09:30Yeah, more resilient for sure.
09:33Very adaptable, if you will.
09:35I've been through some shit.
09:37Not very trusting, but that's all right.
09:40We'll get there.
09:42That's like one of those things that I kind of think about, you know, as a mom now, it's
09:47like, I want to protect my daughter from everything and I want to make sure she has this like really
09:52wonderful, like easy childhood.
09:54But then, you know, of course there's things that happen as with all kids, they have to
09:57deal with conflict or disappointment or whatever.
09:59And I have to remind myself, like these hard things that you go through when you're younger,
10:04like set you up to be stronger.
10:06I can't like protect her from the world.
10:09Right.
10:09And then she goes out in the world as an adult and she's like fully unprepared for it.
10:15And, you know, gets taken advantage of and stuff like that.
10:17It's a hard line to walk.
10:19Yeah.
10:19It's tricky, but.
10:21Yeah.
10:21I love Jen.
10:22She did the best she could.
10:22She did great.
10:23I will say, um, well, my siblings are doing great.
10:27They're fine.
10:28And so, yeah.
10:29Are you still close to your family?
10:30Yeah.
10:31Yeah.
10:31I talked to my mom.
10:32She lives in Texas with my brother.
10:34And then my sister and other brother are still in Montana.
10:38They're all doing good.
10:39My sister has two, two, two children, a girl and a boy.
10:44Aw.
10:44So, yeah.
10:45Do you like being an auntie?
10:47Oh, you, well, when I get to see them, they don't visit me.
10:50They don't come over to LA, but my sister brings them down to Vegas sometime and I'll go
10:54and see them.
10:55So, yeah, it's fun.
10:57You've been in the industry now for over four years.
10:59Oh, God.
11:02Does it feel, does it not feel like that long?
11:04It feels like 10.
11:05Oh, but yeah.
11:06It all, I feel like I've been doing this forever, but also like I'm still new.
11:09It's very weird.
11:10I don't know.
11:11Yeah.
11:12Four years is a long time.
11:13But then like in the age of the industry, I guess, I mean, I've been in it for 27 years.
11:20Period.
11:20Oh, my God.
11:21So, it's like, you know, you think about, God, I mean, that's forever.
11:26But I mean, it's, it's long enough to have, you're not a newbie by any means anymore.
11:32I guess, you know, before we go into like specifically questions about like your, the progression
11:37of your career, how did you get into sex work in the first place?
11:40Well, well, I started sex work pretty young.
11:45That's how I like, you know, got extra coin to like live comfortably growing up.
11:53So, I was, I was always doing that.
11:55And then when I eventually moved to, I was, well, I was always seeing the clients on Seeking
12:00Arrangement.
12:00Right.
12:00Like fly me out.
12:01Right.
12:02And half the time they wouldn't even pay me.
12:04It would just be like a free trip and go, they'd show me around whatever fucking city
12:09they wanted to fly me to.
12:10Right.
12:11I went to Milwaukee once.
12:12It was dreadful.
12:13Oh God, it was rainy and depressing, but I wanted a free trip.
12:17So.
12:18And were you, did you know that you were going into it, getting a free trip?
12:21And was that okay with you?
12:22Yeah.
12:23Yeah.
12:23You were young.
12:24I was like, yeah, I was young.
12:26I'll take what I can get.
12:27But yeah, when I turned 18 and moved to San Luis Obispo, I started working at an Abercrombie.
12:33So fun.
12:33Loved that job.
12:34Oh my God.
12:35Everyone at Abercrombie is always really good looking.
12:37Yeah.
12:38Well, it was very fun because of that.
12:40And we got the store I worked at in particular, we got encouraged to be kind of bitchy.
12:44Like really?
12:45They like didn't really care.
12:47Like I'd be on my phone.
12:48I was still very respectful.
12:49Yeah.
12:49But we just got to like look pretty and act cunty.
12:53It was fun.
12:54Oh my God.
12:54But yeah.
12:55So I was, I was working at the Abercrombie and then I was just webcamming to make extra
12:59money because I, I have expensive taste.
13:02Yeah.
13:03So, so yeah.
13:04And it just kind of kicked off from there.
13:06I started webcamming and like three months later, um, the fans are telling us to contact
13:11Groobie.
13:12I'm telling me to contact Groobie.
13:14So I reached out to them, did my first scene and I was like, all right, well, I guess
13:19this is what we're doing.
13:20I kept, well, I shot with Chris Epic.
13:22I think he was my first one.
13:24And then he recommended me to Tom Moore over at Trans Angels and Jim Powers at, uh, Devil's
13:29Film.
13:30And yeah, it just kind of kicked off really quickly.
13:33How was camming like for you at the beginning?
13:35Oh, dreadful.
13:36I, I'm not a cam girl.
13:38I don't know.
13:39I get very bitchy when I'm being asked to do too many things and the fans are aware.
13:46Yeah.
13:47Um, yeah, it was fine though.
13:49I, I, well, I would go on there with a goal.
13:51I'd sit on there.
13:52I, I'd want to make a thousand a day.
13:53So I'd sit on there until I made that thousand and that could be like two hours or eight hours.
13:59And that's where I went wrong with it.
14:00I burnt myself out too quick.
14:02Yeah.
14:02Um, but I always made that thousand.
14:05You were going to stick it out.
14:07Yeah.
14:07And then I got into porn.
14:08I'm like, oh, this is much more fun work and getting paid more.
14:12So what was, so the first scene, um, that was with Groobie.
14:17Yeah.
14:18And who was it with?
14:19I believe my first scene was Chris Epic.
14:21Okay.
14:21Yeah.
14:22Chris.
14:22I don't, I don't know him.
14:23How was the, like walk us through like what the scene was like, were you nervous showing
14:26up?
14:27Oh yeah.
14:28I didn't know what to expect.
14:30Um, Groobie's just so amazing though.
14:32Like the, all of their people and they had this, uh, PA there, Nikki at the time.
14:36Um, and she was just so fab.
14:38I don't know.
14:38They were very welcoming and so warm.
14:40And I'm so glad I started with Groobie because, uh, everyone's great, but like some of the
14:46bigger sets would have stressed me out, girl.
14:48Yeah.
14:49And the directors yell at each other and shit like, girl, I could not have done that the
14:52first time.
14:53Groobie was so chill.
14:54Everyone was so nice, very respectful.
14:56We went and got dinner after.
14:57Oh, um, so yeah, it was a great day.
15:01Okay.
15:02I had fun, very easy.
15:03And then did you like, how did the scene itself go?
15:06Really good.
15:07Um, I, I learned I was a natural.
15:09Okay.
15:10I didn't top yet.
15:11He just topped me.
15:13So yeah, that's what I was going to ask.
15:14He's a big, big girl.
15:15Were you scared?
15:16Oh yeah.
15:17I'm not a size queen.
15:18That's for sure.
15:19Um, but he knew how to use it.
15:21It was very fun.
15:22It gave me like energy.
15:24I don't know.
15:24It was very exciting.
15:25I'm like, this is cool.
15:26So you did that scene and you're like, okay, this is, this is what I want to do.
15:29There was no like second thoughts.
15:31No.
15:33And then did you actually think like, okay, this is going to be my career or were you
15:37just like doing scenes and making money?
15:39Like, did you have any like long-term plans in place at the time?
15:42I was just doing it.
15:43Yeah.
15:44I was just kind of doing it.
15:45And then after a few scenes, I kind of realized, uh, no, it was after the first tease
15:50when I won some awards for it my first year, I was like, okay, I guess this can
15:54be a career.
15:54I'm like, I'm pretty good at this.
15:56So that was the moment when you realized that you could really do it was when you won
16:00the award.
16:00Yeah.
16:01I'd say, cause I won like three, my first year at the tease.
16:04I won like a, the solo model, uh, gender X performer of the year, I believe gender
16:10X model of the year.
16:12Okay.
16:12And then like one for a scene.
16:13And I'm like, I won three my first year and I was just kind of blown away by that.
16:18So I was like, this is pretty cool.
16:19So for those of you who don't know that that's the trans erotica awards, which we mentioned
16:23earlier.
16:24Yeah.
16:24They give us little crystals.
16:26They're very pretty.
16:28So speaking of, you're currently up for six nominations this year.
16:32I haven't even checked yet.
16:33Well, according to your publicist, um, and I'm going to assume that she knows, uh, how
16:42do these nominations feel now compared to earlier in your career?
16:45Oh, so good.
16:46It's so nice to, uh, continue being recognized, especially cause I like, you know, I, I, I
16:53took some time off over the years for personal reasons.
16:57And just recently, um, I had my ribs cracked.
17:01We can get into that later.
17:04Um, it's just good to be recognized still after four or almost five years.
17:10So you got your ribs cracked.
17:12Was that on purpose?
17:13Yeah.
17:13Okay.
17:14So you got them, you got some like.
17:15Where they take some out.
17:17So it makes your waist slimmer.
17:18No, everyone, all my fans think I had my ribs removed.
17:20I did not.
17:21They're still inside me.
17:22Um, but I, I took the last four months off cause in September I had them surgically fractured.
17:28Okay.
17:28So he like goes in with like a, what do they call it?
17:32An ultrasound.
17:33Yeah.
17:33He did a little ultrasound thing and he fractured 14 of them.
17:36And then you wear a nice corset for three months and it heals in that shape.
17:41How is that?
17:42Oh, the best.
17:43Oh, well the recovery was terrible.
17:45But it looks good.
17:47I'm all healed now, but I couldn't work for four months.
17:49Yeah.
17:50So I was worried that was going to affect like nominations and stuff, but it was fine.
17:54Were you worried that like people would like forget about you, quote unquote?
17:58Yeah.
17:59But I had that fear before, uh, I took some time off a couple of years ago for other reasons.
18:05Yeah.
18:05So yeah, no, I didn't really forget.
18:08So we're good.
18:09It's hard to do that, right?
18:10Like sometimes I think it's important for us to take breaks for personal reasons or whatever.
18:15Um, but it's hard.
18:17I can imagine like for you, you're on such a great trajectory.
18:21Everybody wants to shoot you.
18:22You're busy.
18:23And like, it can be difficult to say no because.
18:25Yeah.
18:25The first couple of years were crazy.
18:27I was working so much.
18:29It was like four or five scenes a month, which is like a lot for, for trans.
18:34How do you mean?
18:36I don't know.
18:37I just, I, I, that, I was just getting booked so much.
18:39Like nowadays I only get booked like once or twice a month, which is fine.
18:43You know, thank you.
18:45Oh, you're saying because there's not as many like trans directors and trans scenes available.
18:50There was one month I worked, I did like eight scenes that month.
18:53In my first two years, everyone wanted to shoot me.
18:55It was so fun.
18:57But yeah, I was on a great trajectory, but kind of fell off the horse a little.
19:01Yeah.
19:01That's okay.
19:02But I mean, you have like, um, your own personal content platforms, I'm assuming.
19:06Oh yeah.
19:07I love the only fans.
19:08I'm always, always on their chin.
19:10So does that make you feel like more secure in your career to know that?
19:14Cause like that, you know, before used to not be an option.
19:16Oh girl.
19:17I don't know how they did it.
19:21I don't know how they, how they made their money.
19:25Girl.
19:25Yeah.
19:26Only fans is how I pay the bill.
19:29So let's go back to the awards because you recently won an XMA for best sex scene.
19:34Yes.
19:34Right.
19:35So trans for trans orgy.
19:37Yes.
19:37What was it like being such part of such a large high profile?
19:40Oh, so good.
19:41It's Jim Powers, you know, and who we love.
19:44We've had him on this podcast.
19:45Oh really?
19:45I never met him before.
19:48I need to watch that.
19:48It's so good.
19:49It's yeah.
19:50If you haven't seen it, go watch it.
19:52It's one of my favorite episodes.
19:53I will say that we had to.
19:56Oh, I put a match.
19:57If you're watching this on YouTube, we had to cut a lot out.
20:01Masha's back there going, cut, cut.
20:03We need to cut so much out because YouTube gets mad at me if I put anything too explicit.
20:07But if you're a member of my Patreon, you can watch the full episode or if you listen
20:12to like it on your on any podcast network, like Spotify, Apple podcasts, like the audio
20:18is full, but the public version on YouTube is trimmed.
20:24Oh, I'm going to find that girl.
20:25That man has some crazy stories.
20:27Crazy stories.
20:27I can send you the link or like I said, do you listen to podcasts?
20:30Not really, but I'd listen to that one.
20:32Okay.
20:32So if you listen to it as opposed to watching on YouTube, you'll get the full.
20:36Oh, fabulous.
20:37It's only on YouTube.
20:38We had to trim it because YouTube has.
20:40I'll find it.
20:41Well, it's a 45 minute ride home.
20:43I'll listen to it in the car.
20:44You want to listen to the full version.
20:46Yeah.
20:47I just love Jim so much.
20:48He was like one of my first ever directors.
20:50He just, to me and Ariel, he's like our porn uncle.
20:53He just, he gives very good, like crazy uncle vibes.
20:56So it's always so fun to see him and work for him.
20:59So that scene was a blast.
21:01All the cast was great.
21:02Oh my God.
21:03He was so good with the casting.
21:05We had, we had Ariel.
21:06We had Tori.
21:08We had Casey K.
21:09Chloe K.
21:10Yeah.
21:10It was just, it was just a good cast.
21:12Tell me about the scene itself.
21:13Like what was the theme?
21:15It was like a house party.
21:17Okay.
21:17Because normally every year, Gender X does the trans pool party orgy.
21:21And I've done two of those.
21:22I think they've, both of them won something at some point.
21:25So it's always a big deal to be a part of the Gender X orgy every year.
21:29And this was the one for that year.
21:31And it was so fun.
21:33It was like house party.
21:35I don't remember.
21:36Oh yeah.
21:36Each of us were dating each, me, uh, each of us had a male talent.
21:41So we all came with dates and then it just turned into an RG.
21:44That scene apparently became one of the most viewed trans scenes of the year.
21:47Really?
21:48Yeah.
21:48Did you feel like when it came out, did you get a lot of feedback on it right away?
21:52Oh no.
21:53I'm, I'm not sure.
21:54Honestly.
21:55I, I'm so bad when it comes to keeping up with releases.
21:59Um.
21:59You just do it.
22:00You're in the moment.
22:01Yeah.
22:01And then like once it comes out.
22:03I don't even know when it came out.
22:05Forgive me.
22:06You know, I mean, it's funny actually.
22:08My mom was like that a lot.
22:09Like I'm the kind of person who's always looking at like what it was afterwards.
22:15Like I'm always looking at the final product and the response and stuff.
22:18But my mom was always somebody who shot and she was, she's like in the moment, right?
22:22Like loved working in the moment, shooting in the moment.
22:24And then afterwards she didn't even edit it.
22:26She didn't even look at it.
22:27Like she didn't care.
22:28You know, it was always like that in the moment.
22:30Like when it comes to award season, like I, I, I don't, I feel bitchy because like something
22:35will win and then I'll, oh God, it happened at the T awards last year.
22:40One of my scenes won and I went on stage and I didn't know which one it won.
22:44Cause there, there's just so many.
22:46And I just, I, I have a bad memory.
22:48I forget things.
22:49And I, it would, I remember now it was the trans scene for trans angels.
22:54Very good with Jane Calloway.
22:56It was wonderful.
22:57Okay.
22:57So you're known for your topping and acting skills.
23:01Yes.
23:01How intentional is that craft for you?
23:04Oh, I love topping, um, on camera.
23:06Cause I could feel like, I feel like I can be very statuesque with it.
23:09There's lots of poses you can do.
23:12It's an art form really.
23:14Cause you have to be angled a certain way.
23:17You always have to be open for the camera.
23:18You have to make sure you're flipping your bottom around.
23:22So yeah, it's a much different vibe than a bottoming.
23:25And it kind of puts you more in like the controlling part of the.
23:29And see, I'm very submissive.
23:30So when it comes to sex, um, well, it's more like bottom, uh, top from the bottom, I guess.
23:37But yeah, I don't know.
23:39I just prefer topping on camera cause I, I know my angle.
23:43Right.
23:43Right.
23:44Yeah.
23:44But personally you're more submissive.
23:47Yeah.
23:47I prefer to bottom at home.
23:50Interesting.
23:51But you don't have a problem like doing either on camera.
23:53Oh no, never.
23:54Well, I still top in my personal life, just not as often.
23:57Um, so you've worked across a huge range of studios, gender X, adult time, groovy, kink,
24:03browsers.
24:04Um, what separates a good set from a great one?
24:07Good food.
24:08Oh my God.
24:09You know what?
24:10I, I, I laugh, but honestly, like I am with you on that.
24:13I think that that's such an important part and it's something that gets overlooked a lot.
24:19That's very true.
24:20Uh, good food and a good, good, good crew, good PAs.
24:24I love a good PA.
24:25Oh my God.
24:26They're always so nice.
24:27Um, what separates?
24:29Oh, and then the other little ad and I'll say is a good energy on set.
24:34Um, some sets, you know, the, the people like to yell at each other.
24:39And I feel like that just puts a lot of pressure and stress on the model, you know, like we're
24:44there to perform and like fuck on camera and do our job.
24:48And like when there's people screaming at each other and like bad attitudes being thrown around,
24:53it like pulls you out of that flow state and just mix the tape, drag on a little more,
25:00if you will.
25:01The few times that's happened, we, we bitched a little and they've been getting better about
25:04it.
25:05Yeah.
25:05You have to whip them into shape.
25:07Would you ever have any interest in, um, directing or anything like that?
25:11At this current juncture, probably not.
25:14I don't know.
25:15I, I, well, I was just on Ariel's, the naughty nanny and watching all the moving parts and
25:22like everything.
25:23It was really cool to watch, but like, that's just a little too much stress for me at the
25:28moment, but I'm still rather young in the industry.
25:31So I've got, I've got some time.
25:33I will say like, cause obviously like I directed for years and it is a lot of work and compared
25:39to like mainstream sets, directors and adult generally have to wear a lot of hats that you
25:45wouldn't otherwise.
25:46And so it's like not just showing up and like directing the day it's like producing and getting
25:51the location and dealing with the logistics and all that kind of stuff.
25:54That's the, I don't wear that many hats yet.
25:56Yeah.
25:57But it, and it's also like, I mean, to be honest, it doesn't pay that well.
26:01Oh, really?
26:02No.
26:03Yeah.
26:03I didn't really hear about the financial side of it.
26:05Cause Ariel like basically funded the naughty nanny herself.
26:09Yeah.
26:09So I didn't really hear how that worked.
26:10I got a paycheck.
26:12I know that.
26:13Yeah.
26:13But I mean, like if you're shooting for other companies, like a director's fees, not that
26:18it's not that high.
26:19Thriller.
26:20You're usually, you're almost never making more than the talent.
26:23Oh my gosh.
26:24And if you think about like how long you have to do, it's just, you gotta love it.
26:28Like you really gotta love directing.
26:30Oh yeah.
26:30For it to make sense.
26:31Well, I really like how Aubrey Kate does it.
26:33Cause I, she is, um, directing for Evil Angel now.
26:37And she booked me for a scene that she directed, but she was also in this scene.
26:42So it was her and I with like three men dressed as G.I.
26:45Joes and she like directed it like as we were shooting it.
26:48And I'm sure plenty of people do or do that, but I haven't really been in a scene myself
26:52or like the director is also like the model.
26:55So that, that might be something I'd be interested in in the future.
26:59Cause I like to be in the movie.
27:00Yeah.
27:01Um, but yeah, I just think that's really cool.
27:04Maybe someday soon.
27:05Well, I will say that, um, I know that Evil Angel has done this with a lot of other directors.
27:11Obviously I don't know what Aubrey's deal is, but they do something that's pretty uncommon
27:15with a lot of other brands where they do a deal that, um, the director also gets like
27:21part of the distribution, like backend.
27:24Right.
27:24So they get like a, I know that they did that with Lisa and, um, I know they've done that
27:29with some other people.
27:30Like I said, I don't know what their deal is with Aubrey, but it wouldn't surprise me
27:33if it was something like that.
27:35Um, and that, and I think in those cases, first of all, you're probably more motivated
27:39to make a better scene.
27:40Oh, absolutely.
27:40Right.
27:41Cause you get.
27:41And she makes good stuff.
27:43Like I was really satisfied with, or, uh, with the art, the experience on stuff.
27:48Like she, we had fun with it.
27:50It was so pretty.
27:52So yeah, she, she puts her heart into it and I appreciate that.
27:55Yeah.
27:56Cause not a lot of them do.
27:57Yep.
27:58All right guys, we're gonna take a quick commercial break and we will be right back.
28:36Here we go.
28:42Hey everybody.
28:43Welcome back.
28:44Okay.
28:45So, uh, Jade, as a trans performer, how has your experience in the industry evolved since
28:49you've started?
28:51I wouldn't really call it evolving.
28:53I don't know.
28:54When I first started, uh, like about a year and we started getting like really artsy, like
29:00fun things.
29:00Like for adult time, we did muses.
29:03It was like a model of the month thing.
29:04And we got to like design our own scenes.
29:07And pick our scene partners and like basically like kind of mini direct it.
29:12Um, and I love stuff like that.
29:15And I feel like we stopped getting stuff like that.
29:18So maybe a devolve, if you will.
29:20Um, so that's why I really appreciate like what Ariel's Demure is doing.
29:25Um, we had Gorgons and Goddesses, very artsy, very gorgeous.
29:29Um, and then we just did the Naughty Nanny.
29:31So I just love, I love projects like that.
29:34Um, that are like, there's love put into it, you know?
29:38And I feel like we haven't been getting that as much lately anymore, but you know, the, the
29:43taste fluctuate.
29:45So maybe we'll go back to that.
29:47Who knows?
29:47I just noticed the cis side gets a lot of the theatrical things and we're transsexuals.
29:53We're very theatrical and we're good at it.
29:56So it would be nice to see more of that.
29:59And it's an enormously popular niche.
30:01Yeah.
30:01And it's only growing.
30:03I think Pornhub's, um, last review, um, showed that like, yeah, the, the searches for,
30:10for trans porn, like is definitely on the rise.
30:13Oh, they like us.
30:16They don't want to admit it, honey, but they love us.
30:19Do you find that most of your, um, audience is straight men?
30:22Yeah.
30:23Well, allegedly.
30:25Yeah.
30:25I was going to say air quote straight men.
30:27Whatever they, they want to call it, but yeah, for the most part.
30:30Do you think that the industry has changed overall in how it treats and understands trans
30:35performers?
30:36Or do you think that like, it's still catching up?
30:38Oh, it's still catching up for sure.
30:40And it's, I wouldn't say it's anyone's fault in particular, but it's just kind of how it's
30:45always been.
30:46I don't know.
30:47It's a little tricky to answer that one.
30:50I mean, like, you know, I will say that I was really impressed by the way that Ariel
30:56really spoke up about how she felt about how, you know, the trans performer categories were
31:03acknowledged at AVN.
31:04Oh yeah.
31:05AVN's been, been doing the last two years.
31:07And then, and boy, did they, girl, they, they switched it up real quick and I'm so
31:13appreciative.
31:13Good job, AVN.
31:16Expos has always been great.
31:17They love the dolls we saw in the front row this year, but yeah, I, I think there's definitely
31:23some growing to do on the, on the trans side of porn, but you know, it's only 2026.
31:29We got time.
31:31What do you think people outside the industry misunderstand the most about like maybe trans
31:37performers specifically?
31:38That we are, oh God, just, just horny over sexual beings at all time.
31:45They just think we're, we're just so over eroticized.
31:49And I know that's porn and we're so good at that.
31:51We love doing that on camera, but like I get approached in public sometimes by people who
31:55may recognize me or something and they're vile sometimes they come up to me or in messages
32:00and just say the nastiest shit or on my Twitch streams, they go, go in there and get vile.
32:05And I'm like, honey, time and place.
32:08Do you see the dick in me, honey?
32:10No.
32:11So let's cool it.
32:13They think we're just horny deviants all the time.
32:16And that's just not true.
32:17I'm tired.
32:18I have cats to take care of, you know, I kind of liken it to when I think about boxers,
32:28right?
32:28Like boxers obviously love to fight like boxers, like they make a whole career out of it, but
32:33that doesn't mean that they want to fight everybody all the time.
32:36Like, would you, but you know what I mean?
32:39Like, would you walk up to a boxer and like punch him in the face and be like, let's go,
32:42bro.
32:43You know what I'm saying?
32:44Yeah, I think that's just as a whole though, for like any performer, whether it's gay,
32:49straight, bi, trans, you know, like I, how they treat us at the expos definitely shows
32:55all, all of my fans for the most part have been respectful at the expos, but I've heard
32:59like girls getting grabbed, girls getting touched and, and just like, no, you're not
33:03allowed to do that unless they ask for it.
33:06Do you think that stems from maybe like a lack of, I mean, for lack of a better word,
33:12sex education on the part of these people who kind of take these advantages, like they
33:16don't understand the difference between, like they, there's, they've been so shaded
33:22from sex and sexuality that anybody who exhibits it in a public way, they think that that's
33:30the only thing that drives them.
33:31They think that's just theirs for the grabbing, I guess.
33:34Definitely.
33:35What do you like?
33:36Like, what kind of scenes do you like to do?
33:38God, lately I've been like in bottoming a lot for men just because, you know, a lot
33:43of the medications we take the Trimax to get hard.
33:46So for me, that's very painful.
33:48So like, as of late, I've been preferring to, to bottom because I don't have to shoot
33:52my take up.
33:53Right.
33:53Um, yeah.
33:55So I just did a scene yesterday for Ricky Greenwood and I got Cliff Jensen and he fucks
34:00like a powerhouse.
34:01So it was a lovely time.
34:02Um, good attraction, good sex.
34:06Um, but yeah, probably bottoming.
34:08That's what I've been into lately.
34:09So apparently there is a story about a skirt that you wore to AVN.
34:14Does that track?
34:15Oh God.
34:16Yes.
34:17That's so funny.
34:18So I wore this gorgeous gown to AVN.
34:21It was an agent provocateur, very expensive corset, uh, with like lingerie pieces underneath.
34:27It's very showgirl and I needed a skirt for it.
34:31So Ariel and I went down to the fashion district to find a good fabric and, um, we found this
34:37one gorgeous beaded fabric.
34:39You can see it on my Instagram, stunning stuff.
34:42Um, it's like this beaded red.
34:44It looks like blood because of the, the droplets and it was like 500, five, $600 for like three
34:52yards.
34:53Wow.
34:53And this guy loves us and the specific place in the fashion district, he loves the, the
34:58tea girls.
34:59Uh huh.
34:59So we, uh, see what we could get away with.
35:03We were being very seductive and we ended up giving him a hand job.
35:07Me and Ariel took turns jerking off the store guy, um, for that $600 worth of fabric.
35:14And we made my dress out of it.
35:16Best hand job I've ever given.
35:18I felt so cunty.
35:21I, I had to wash my hand after, but it was so worth it.
35:25That is such a great story.
35:27We got to do what we got to do in this economy.
35:29Hey, you know what?
35:30I got to hand it to you.
35:31Wow.
35:32And it obviously worked out in your favor.
35:34Very, very true.
35:35We're very proud of that one.
35:37It's going in the archive.
35:40Oh my God.
35:40That's so great.
35:41So you also stream and game as well.
35:43Oh, I do.
35:44Tell me a little bit about that.
35:46Like what are some of your favorite games?
35:47Oh God.
35:48Well, I've been obsessed with Fortnite for like eight years.
35:50I have been playing it off and on for a very long time.
35:53It's so fun.
35:54They add like celebrities to it.
35:56I wear Lady Gaga sometime.
35:58She's my girl.
36:00Yeah.
36:01It's so fun.
36:01All my friends play it.
36:02A lot of, a lot of the porn trans girls play it.
36:05And then I've been big into Overwatch lately.
36:08That one's like a Call of Duty like shooter.
36:11Yeah.
36:11How do you, or do you, do you personally separate like an on-camera persona from your everyday self?
36:17Or is like, is it all the same person?
36:20Oh God.
36:21I try to put like myself into my roles.
36:26And the directors know I play a really good bitch.
36:29So I usually get typecasted.
36:30And then the roles where I'm expected to be bitchy, I do so well.
36:35Um, but my, uh, when you, when you watch my streams, you kind of see my real personality.
36:40I'm a little unhinged, if you will, with some of my vernacular.
36:45So, yeah, I definitely, I'm a little, I try to be a little more mysterious on camera.
36:51Because I don't think my demeanor is always the most sexy.
36:54Speaking of, like, how do you manage, like, a work-life balance?
36:58Like, how do you manage, you know, being the on-camera Jade Venus, and then, like, also taking time for
37:05yourself to take care of yourself?
37:06Or is that a balance you're struggling with still?
37:09I don't know.
37:10I'm pretty self-indulgent with my me time.
37:12I, I, when I'm not working, I'm usually hanging out with, with the friends, or, I, I'm an introvert, so
37:19I need my, my me time.
37:21And I take it, so, I think I've got a good balance on, and in fact, I, I think I
37:26could work a little harder, if anything.
37:29Um, I just don't like leaving my house.
37:31I'm tired.
37:32I, I, I like to stay at home with my cats.
37:36But, yeah, I, I'd say the balance is pretty good.
37:39You're doing better than I am.
37:40Because, man, that is something I'm terrible at.
37:44What's the biggest lesson that the porn industry has taught you about yourself?
37:48Oh, God, don't be so hard on yourself.
37:50Oh, God.
37:52You're, you're enough.
37:53You're doing great.
37:54And what about, like, online trolls?
37:56Like, how do you manage, like, criticism?
37:58Oh, we have fun.
37:59We have fun.
37:59Well, so, that, the, um, interviews you posted of us, me and Ariel, those comments are vile.
38:05And me and Ariel.
38:06See, here's my thing.
38:07I don't read the comments.
38:08Oh, we do.
38:08I do not ever read the comments.
38:10I have no idea what it says.
38:11That's how I deal with it.
38:12I just don't read them.
38:13No, we live for it.
38:14I, uh, me and Ariel go in there and we like them.
38:17Like, the mean ones.
38:18Okay.
38:19And, hey.
38:20They usually talk shit about our voices and shit.
38:22But I think it's funny.
38:24And then sometimes, well, I'll go look at some of my trailers on TikTok.
38:27Kira Noir posted, like, this fun video of us from a scene we did a couple years ago.
38:31And those comments were so funny.
38:33I like if you're transphobic to me, if you're funny about it.
38:36Like, make me laugh.
38:37Please.
38:38If you're going to be rude, make it silly.
38:41Make it, make it worth reading.
38:42And there's creative ways to be transphobic.
38:44Let me tell you.
38:46So, come on, entertain me.
38:48Kira How has your confidence changed since entering the industry?
38:51Kira Oh, a lot.
38:52Yeah.
38:53I mean, I was, I, I had built up some confidence before porn for sure.
38:58But I wanted bottom surgery.
39:00I almost got bottom surgery at 18.
39:02Like, I, my, from 12 to 18, I wanted a pussy.
39:06You know?
39:07It was all I wanted.
39:08And then porn really taught me how to embrace that part of me and capitalize on it.
39:16You know?
39:17I mean, deep down, I still would like that eventually.
39:19But, yeah, porn taught me to embrace it and make some coin off it.
39:23Yeah.
39:24So, if I, if I got bottom surgery now, I wouldn't be making as much money.
39:27Right.
39:28So, I'd rather be comfortable than not comfortable, if you will.
39:33It's like sometimes those different, those things that make us different are also like
39:38what can make us special and make us, and make us like, yeah, the money.
39:43I like topping, Holly.
39:45I love topping.
39:46And you can't do that if you get bottom surgery.
39:49So, yeah, I agree.
39:51Definitely that.
39:53What does success look like to you at this stage in your life?
39:56What does it mean to you?
39:57Well, just living comfortably.
39:58I didn't always live comfortably growing up.
40:01So, it's very important to me that I am, I don't want to be rich by any means.
40:06I just want to be comfortable.
40:08Yeah.
40:08So, that would be successful.
40:09Maybe, maybe getting a nice little house at some point.
40:12Mm-hmm.
40:13And maybe start directing at some point, too.
40:16Or helping.
40:17Who knows?
40:18But yeah, just a comfortable lifestyle.
40:21What are like your favorite things to indulge in?
40:23Oh, God.
40:24Video games.
40:25The Fortnite.
40:25And clothes.
40:26Oh, my God.
40:27I have a wardrobe addiction.
40:30You ever thought about being a stylist?
40:32No.
40:33You only want to dress yourself?
40:34Yeah.
40:35If you could give advice to someone entering the industry, what would you tell them?
40:40What are maybe some things you wish you had known before you got in?
40:43Oh, God.
40:44Don't do drugs.
40:45Don't do drugs.
40:46And be careful who you associate with.
40:49My first year in the industry, I met a certain character in question.
40:56And he opened my world up to various types of drugs that I never heard of.
41:02I used to have a ketamine addiction.
41:06And that was in my first year.
41:08That was in the prime of my career.
41:09When I was blowing up, I got this K addiction.
41:14And I wouldn't have even discovered this form of ketamine if I hadn't met this person.
41:18So be careful who you hang out with.
41:20It was a two-year fight.
41:23And now I'm a year and a half sober.
41:26Oh, my God.
41:27Congratulations.
41:29That's amazing.
41:29But yeah, just stay away from the drugs.
41:31A little here and there is fun, but just don't know, honey.
41:35It's not worth it.
41:36It'll take you out.
41:37It almost derailed my career permanently.
41:41I'm seven years sober.
41:42Oh, I didn't know that.
41:43Yeah.
41:44I had a serious alcohol problem.
41:46Oh, yeah.
41:47I remember that.
41:48Luckily, I never liked the alcohol.
41:50So I don't drink by choice.
41:52It's the ketamine and cocaine.
41:54I stay away from that now.
41:56Yeah.
41:56I never got a chance to try ketamine before I got sober.
42:00So I missed out on that.
42:01I didn't know you were sober.
42:02That's so cool.
42:03I love that.
42:04Yeah.
42:04Yeah.
42:05It's my second go around, too.
42:06I was sober for seven years before as well.
42:09Okay.
42:10And then I relapsed.
42:11Yeah.
42:11It took me about four years to get back on the train.
42:13I had two slips.
42:14No, three slips.
42:15Oh, God.
42:16Yeah.
42:16It's, you know, it's not always a straight line.
42:19No.
42:19And I learned that.
42:20I was so ashamed my first two relapses.
42:23Yeah.
42:23But yeah, this is the longest I've ever been sober.
42:25So.
42:26God, congratulations.
42:26Checking along.
42:28It's amazing.
42:29All right.
