00:50Now we're looking at the Deluxe Mega Man, who originally I thought I would have to order online until, of
00:55course, I got a little message from Popeye the Toy Man.
01:00Arriving to shore with some in stock, he let me know, and I was able to pick one up.

01:10In the meantime, though, let's grab the tape measure.
01:13It was in my hand the whole time.
01:15We're going to go grab the tape measure, we're going to go right to the very tippy top, the helmet
01:18we go.
01:18By no surprise, I'm sure at all, the figure's going to stand the same as the original Mega Man.
01:22Four inches in height, or ten centimeters tall.
01:25Do you have that original Mega Man?
01:27As a matter of fact, I do.
01:28Here's what the figure looks like with the original Mega Man.
01:30I think it's safe to say that looking at the two figures that, yeah, they have borrowed over the body
01:34from the original Mega Man.
01:35It does look like, though, that they may have changed the colors just a little bit of the blue.
01:39Because it does seem, though, at least with my own eyes, and my eyes are kind of failing me after
01:43a while.
01:43It does look, though, like they're maybe changing the blue just a little bit.
01:47Because it does seem like it's a little bit darker here than it was here.
01:50He also is sporting a brand new head sculpt as well.
01:53Here's as well what the figure looks like with Hyper Bomb Mega Man.
01:56A very short list of Mega Mans with super power add-ons.
02:00Because it doesn't seem really that Jaded Toys wants to really invest in producing new Mega Mans with different color
02:04costumes.
02:05And I probably can still see why.
02:06Anyway, here's what he also looks like with the Funko's Mega Man for no other reason, just because I still
02:11have him in stock.
02:12Gives me also a cheap chance to bring in also Dr. Wily from Mega Man from the Funko line.
02:17Just because, again, that's the only time we've gotten a Dr. Wily of this scale, of this size, with this
02:22level of posability.
02:24And let's also bring in a couple of Robot Masters.
02:26I'm not going to be bringing them all in, but just to kind of give you at least an idea.
02:29Here's what the figure also looks like with a Leck Man and Cuts Man of Mega Man's multitude of accessories.
02:35The first thing we'll have a look at is probably something we've already seen before.
02:37The figure does come in clue with a display stand.
02:40Straighten out the matter.
02:41It does actually consist of two parts.
02:43A circular disc with a hole in the middle.
02:45What's that hole for?
02:47It's for this.
02:48Come on, man.
02:49You already saw the two were attached.
02:50You just attach the two, and then there's a knuckle joint here and an opposing knuckle.
02:55It's almost very similar to your finger, where you can bend these in two different places.
02:59This comes rather in handy with all the Robot Masters.
03:01It comes especially handy with Mega Man, because he also comes with his Buster Blast.

03:11I thought this was going to be an hour-long review of me just finding the hole.

03:22It's going to work out to be a very long review.
03:24And yes, you can plug that onto the end of it, so it does look like Mega Man is shooting
03:28something.
03:28Although it doesn't really look like he's shooting much of anything, it looks like, if anything, it's shot from the
03:32side of his body.
03:33I've already taken precautionary measures to swap out the Buster Cannon.
03:37Actually, coming in and out of the packaging, two things were quite different on Mega Man.
03:41First of all, he had just a regular robot arm with a hand on the end of it.
03:44I have, since then, swapped that out because I want to get him kind of to the bare basics of
03:48an original-looking Mega Man.
03:49Because he does also sport an unmasked head sculpt, an unhelmeted head sculpt, which happened to be the way that
03:55the figure came out of his plastic prison.
03:58In a second, though, don't worry.
03:59In a second, I will be swapping things back to the way I found them.
04:02But he does, in fact, come and include just a regular arm and a regular hand, just on the end
04:06of that.
04:07Some swappable hands are also given him as well.
04:10A relaxed hand, and it almost even really seems like a gripping hand.
04:14Not really sure specifically what he's gripping.
04:17I guess, if anything, you wanted to.
04:19Let's just take this figure first.
04:20Oh, not to roll away his head.
04:22You can take the hand off here, plug it on the end of the forearm.
04:27And it could, in some ways, serve as a somewhat serviceable way to hold the understock of his Buster Cannon.
04:34Which I would imagine that probably would be the way that they've designed the hand for.
04:38Yes, yes.
04:38This is what the cannon hand looks like, the cannon arm looks like.
04:41Like, this just attaches, though, by the forearm peg that plugs into the elbow area.
04:45I'll be doing all of that in a second.
04:47First thing, can we talk a little bit about this?
04:49The figure does also come to you with a Met, or a Metal, or a Matool, or a Matour.
04:55It's been called several things over the years.
04:57A lot of people also just like to coin the term Hard Hats.
05:00He certainly does have a hard hat.
05:02This is a Mega Man little tiny baddie boss that you see throughout the levels.
05:06Love the fact that, first of all, they include something like this.
05:08The little tiny Met does actually have possibility.
05:10You can move his helmet up and down, rotate it around.
05:13He does also have, if I get my fingers out of the way, tiny little poseable feet.
05:17Look at these adorable little feet.
05:19And they're poseable as well.
05:20So there's a couple little things, too.
05:22I went in this with low expectations.
05:24The lowest of the low.
05:26Thinking, though, the Mattel would only really, not Mattel, not the figure company,
05:30but really expecting, though, just to this be a solid bit of plastic.
05:33I was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised to see, though, that there was poseability in the Met,
05:37and that you could also move his feet around.
05:39But there's so much more.
05:41What you can also do, too, is you take the top helmet off of the Met.
05:45And you can see, by the way, it attaches.
05:47There's a ball joint here.
05:48Further up from that, a very short walking distance, there's a ball joint right here as well.
05:52We'll just put that off to the side.
05:54And you can actually take, then, the helmet and put it on the bottom, like on the floor,
05:57wherever you want to have it displayed.
05:59And you can just bend Mega Man's leg, kind of like that.
06:03And you can have him just propped sort of up on the top helmet of that.
06:06How cool is that?
06:08That's not something, though, that really a lot of companies would have just done.
06:11If anything was to be included in the way of a Met, I would think, if anything,
06:14they probably would just have molded this all in plastic, just include it, thrown it in there,
06:19thrown it in there as extra accessories.
06:21But Jaded Toys, though, thought a little extra harder about that
06:24and included not only a posability-removable helmet, but tiny, posable little feet.
06:29Have we spent too much time talking about the metal?
06:31Okay, let's just move that off to the side.
06:33Let's take the helmet, because I feel like he's going to catch a draft.
06:36The best way to keep your body warm is to keep your head warm, your head and your torso.
06:40Don't really worry so much about your face.
06:42As long as you're kind of not letting the heat escape from your head,
06:45and you're keeping your torso warm, you should be okay for the winter seasons.
06:49Let's move that off to the side, though.
06:50So, lastly, though, the figure does also come in clue with an unhelmeted head sculpt,
06:55which, very few times we've gotten a Mega Man that looks like this.
06:57I know there has been imports of Mega that have had the Rock Man here,
07:01where he's had an unhelmeted head sculpt.
07:03But from a retail level, think long and hard.
07:06Has there been a lot of opportunities where companies have done something similar to this?
07:10Now, you can obviously swap the head out if you want.
07:12I honestly will tell you this.
07:14I really like the head sculpt that we kind of get as a secondary option.
07:18I mean, really, again, when you're buying this figure,
07:20this is the first figure's face that you're going to see inside the plastic.
07:23But just think about this for a second, how good this head sculpt actually is.
07:27To the point, really, I'm going to bring in the original Mega Man.
07:30The original Mega Man's face was fine.
07:31I felt like maybe the face was a little pale in complexion.
07:35I do like this Mega Man head a little bit more.
07:37Now, because, of course, they are using the same bodies,
07:39it would logically think if you could walk yourself to coming up to a conclusion,
07:43could you not maybe then swap out the heads?
07:45You can.
07:45You can swap them out.
07:47So, let's not drop things.
07:49Let's just hold on to his body.
07:50Get his buster cannon out of the way.
07:52Hold on to his torso.
07:53Yank off the head.
07:55Take this head of Mega Man,
07:56which I guess now is just going to be a loose extra accessory rattling around inside my bag.
08:01Just to show you guys the difference.
08:03I think the helmets are pretty much the same.
08:05Don't they?
08:06They look the same.
08:07Maybe the blue is just a little richer on the deluxe release.
08:10Certainly, though, the complexion of the face is a little bit also darker
08:13than the paler one that he had before.
08:15Because they also, again, work the exact same way,
08:18you can take now this head sculpt,
08:20pop it onto the ball joint,
08:21and instantly, just like that,
08:23you've got yourself a better-looking Mega Man than we started with before.
08:27I'll put it down here for a second.
08:29So, this Mega Man,
08:30I don't know really why, by the way,
08:31he does have a yellow posted peg to attach the head onto.
08:35You would just think that they would probably have used gray or blue,
08:37but decided to go with yellow.
08:39That's fine with that.
08:40You're only going to not see it anyways.
08:42Okay, so he's also got the Buster Cannon.
08:44Let's go ahead and remove this as well.
08:47And just for this, you're going to twist it back and forth.
08:50You don't really want to yank it so much.
08:52You just want to kind of wiggle it back as you kind of pull away from it.
08:55Take the regular robot arm,
08:57and we'll just plug it back in place.
08:59Now, with these pegs,
09:00I've noticed that they hinge back and forth,
09:02sometimes a little too much.
09:04So, twisting it might just be your better friend here.
09:06And there we go.
09:07We can plug it in place.
09:09Now, Mega Man is sporting again the unhelmeted head,
09:12and he's also sporting the robot arms.
09:14And again, you can also decide for yourself,
09:16if you want to just take this one off.
09:17All right, we'll do this one as well.
09:19Plug that in place.
09:21And then we just have a regular Mega Man.
09:23So, right there,
09:24just by picking up two Mega Man figures,
09:26we've upgraded the original one,
09:28and now we have an unhelmeted Mega Man to have on display.
09:31The bodies, again, look to be the same.
09:33I feel like, again,
09:34maybe the blue is a little bit better,
09:35a little richer here in the torso,
09:37maybe even in the legs.
09:38The feet, as well as the legs,
09:40as well as the arms,
09:41all seem to be shared between Mega Man,
09:43and they look exactly the same.
09:46Same size, obviously, as well.
09:48Because they're also using the same sized body
09:50and the same proportions of body,
09:52the articulation on this guy is going to also remain the same.
09:55This version of Mega Man does also have a ball joint.
09:57So, it does have a ball joint here.
09:59We saw this already.
10:00I know I'm kind of already telling you guys things
10:02that you have already looked with your own eyes with.
10:04And he does also have a ball joint here.
10:06Between those two,
10:07you can do a whole lot of things with Mega Man's head.
10:10The arms do rotate all the way around.
10:12Yes, they do.
10:12You can also hinge the arms out to get a T-pose.
10:15Both of these arms,
10:16this arm and this arm,
10:18both work the same way.
10:20And technically, too,
10:21if you...
10:21Somebody's also going to probably ask me this, too.
10:23Is the Buster Cannon exactly the same?
10:26You know,
10:27I'm looking at the two.
10:29This looks a little darker.
10:31The yellow looks a little richer.
10:34Okay, let's change this out as well.
10:37Let's get ourselves a perfect-looking Mega Man.
10:39So, we're just going to wiggle this off the post.
10:42I don't know why this one's a little bit more stubborn.
10:45This was not plans that I really had going into this review.
10:48I thought, if anything,
10:49I was just going to change the head out.
10:50But now look where we've gone.
10:52We've gone down a rabbit hole of customizing this Mega Man
10:54to get it the way that we want.
10:57And for just this amount of work,
10:59just for a better-looking Buster Cannon,
11:01let's see what we started with.
11:04Let's see what we ended with.
11:05Yeah, you know what?
11:06It does look a little bit better.
11:07I know.
11:08I have to put the peg all the way on there.
11:10There's all this blasted moisturizer I'm using
11:12prepping these reviews.
11:14Realizing now I probably should use a whole lot less of it.
11:17Anyways, I'll just leave this for right now.
11:20We have what I think is a better-looking Mega Man.
11:23So, I'm just going to put that off to the side.
11:25Where were we?
11:26Where were we before I had some ideas?
11:28Yeah, the arms swivel back and forth
11:30on the peg that attaches the forearm to the bicep.
11:33There's also a bend in the elbow.
11:34And that's on both sides, by the way.
11:36Hands rotate all the way around.
11:37There is a hinge in those as well.
11:39The top of the torso, top of the torso too,
11:42does have a bulge, right?
11:43So, you can move that around.
11:44He does seem to also have the same in his lower abdomen area too.
11:48Legs split out.
11:49You can take the legs and move forward.
11:50You can move them back.
11:51Swivel to the top of the thigh.
11:53A single hinge only for the knee.
11:54I don't think it really needs anything more than that.
11:56That lower hinge also allows the foot to do what it's doing right now.
11:59Speaking of feet,
12:00this I guess would technically be really the calf and the knee.
12:03The foot itself, though, does have a hinge.
12:05So, it allows the feet to move up and down
12:07and rock back and forth as well.
12:10So, it essentially does take, really,
12:11the Mega Man that we already liked before.
12:13And it just makes improvements.
12:14Now, I know you're probably looking at this.
12:16Not everyone's really going to like unhelmeted Rock Man.
12:19But if you do like the Blue Bomber rocking, though,
12:21an unhelmeted look,
12:23the fact that we now get this head sculpt
12:25as well as the bonus of a better looking head
12:27for the original Mega Man,
12:28all the more reason I feel to then pick up the figure.
12:31Plus, on top of that, though,
12:32to get a fully articulate...
12:34I don't want to say fully.
12:34I don't want to say, like...
12:35I don't want this to be quoted
12:37that this guy said a fully articulated mat
12:38when really, though,
12:39this metal only does have this and this.
12:43So, I don't want to be misquoted wrong.
12:46But yeah, the fact we do also have a little poseable mat
12:48is a fun little touch that Jada included with the figure.
12:51Technically, too.
12:52I mean, again,
12:52they could have easily just phoned it in
12:54and could have just released this figure
12:56with essentially the same body,
12:58which they did, I know.
12:59But then they could have just included this head sculpt
13:01instead of this one,
13:03slapped it into the package,
13:04throw it, of course,
13:04in the adjustment display stand with the neck,
13:07and throw it again, the Buster Blast.
13:10And that would have been fine.
13:11But the fact that they also included this head sculpt,
13:13they included, then again, a Mets,
13:15and the Buster, and again,
13:18you know, the Buster Cannon,
13:19some swappable hands as well.
13:21If you can find this figure,
13:22I would tell you this, though.
13:23You're collecting the Mega Man stuff,
13:24you're liking the Mega Man stuff
13:25so far from Jada Toys,
13:26you're going to love this Mega Man
13:28if you get the chance to grab one for yourself.

13:54Jada Toys still continues to impress me
13:56with what they're doing
13:56not only with the Mega Man license,
13:58but other things
13:59that they've also done as well.

14:01that we've looked at on this channel
14:02have been produced by Jada Toys
14:04have made really good-looking figures
14:06for a really affordable price.
14:08$30 at least for a Deluxe Mega Man
14:10gets you first the Met
14:11with a removable helmet, first of all,
14:13so you can have the figure displayed
14:14like I've got right now on the rotisserie,
14:16but that he also comes
14:17with two swappable head sculpts,
14:18the Buster Cannon,
14:19and some swappable hands.
14:21He also comes including, of course,
14:22the blast effect
14:23and the standing piece
14:24to keep it upright.
14:25All of that, $29.99,
14:27not a bad price at all.
14:29Of course, that would have been the price
14:30that this guy behind the camera
14:31would have spent
14:32if I had gone the route
14:33of ordering him online,
14:34which I was really close to doing.
14:36Until that is, of course,

15:09unhelmeted Mega Man,
15:11but because of also including
15:12a secondary head,
15:14I've also got a better-looking
15:15original Mega Man as well.
