01:05spent a whole lot more than two dollars had maybe i waited and ordered this one online through online
01:10sites that generally are stocking jack specific simpsons figures i would not have gotten it for
01:15two dollars i certainly would have not got it for the 35 cents that homer made the deal for
01:19uh instead i actually ordered this on amazon and i paid a pretty penny for it before we get a
01:24closer
01:25look at bart the fly and of course the transporter chamber you only get one of them
01:28so bart homer can't actually jump into this and grab himself a beer from the fridge let's get
01:33things underway first by grabbing the tape measure if i'm measuring things correctly and while i don't
01:38have a big giant set of fly eyes at least with my own eyes i can make out that bart
01:42seems to be about
01:43three and a half inches he's working also out to be about what eight centimeters tall for the chamber
01:49itself we go right to the very top of its antenna the chamber stands at around seven and three quarters
01:55of an inch or give or take 19 centimeters tall i have a few bart's by now let's bring in
02:00at least
02:01the original bart so you guys can see it does look like color wise it's similar enough although in
02:06the episode really where bart turns into the fly his shirt was a little bit more orange than the
02:10darker kind of auburn red that we're getting here here's also what the figure looks like if you
02:14wanted to dress up as bart man if you also want to dress as a hockey player bart was doing
02:18that as well
02:19this side though we can also bring in some of the other treehouse of horror figures we've gotten
02:22from jack specific slow down there fella slow down we've got werewolf uh flanders we've also got if
02:28you guys can see maybe we'll just cover off the chamber here there's dracula burns we've also got
02:32vampire crusty you know i have looked at all of these just in case you're curious uh grim reaper homer
02:37and here's also what the figure looks like in the front although he is the smallest here's also kong
02:42homer highly sophisticated doo-wack he does come included with an instruction booklet although the booklet
02:47itself is involved mostly just because they have also added a whole bunch of other languages as well
02:54i mean i i not to say that i rely solely on photos but i gotta say like looking at
02:58photos would be a
02:59whole lot easier hey there's some photos here there's an image though just to show you that the
03:04chamber does glow i'll show you guys that also in a second and then also down below the more crucial
03:08thing i think would be that you actually need yourself button cell batteries now button batteries are
03:12already included with the chamber the first time you get this out of the box but if you do need

03:16replace them at any given time ag 13 time three will be your best buddies let's move that out of
03:23the
03:23way look at the size of this along with bart fly you actually get yourself a fly bart now we
03:32see
03:32obviously a fly obviously when bart goes into the chamber he splits sort of his dna the bottom of the
03:37body gets more the fly head then the fly body gets actually bart's head you get a little representation
03:44of that it's tiny i like that they've given it more clear wings the plastic that they at least
03:51have used seems strong enough not that you really um not that really would want to be squeezing the
03:57wings of a fly don't be doing that for a real fly either although i i can't stand flies flies
04:01are
04:01always getting in the way of things i guess that's the reason why they're here on earth they just want
04:04to get in the way of things the head for bart at least does turn so there's technically a little
04:10bit
04:10of possibility here at play unfortunately though it's not really much that you can do with bart the
04:15fly i have hoped i had hoped actually getting the chamber out of the packaging that i could have
04:20taken part the fly and sort of propped them on top of the top of the antenna here but just
04:25the way
04:25that the legs are designed just doesn't really fit i suppose one workaround to that like probably i
04:31had done at the beginning of review you could take the little fly barts and actually put them on the
04:34top of it and just hope that you don't bang the chamber because then you're going to lose the fly
04:38and then you'll probably end up finding bart fly inside of a spider web it's okay he's only just
04:43going to be teasing the spider in the first place flying off and the spider's shaking his all four
04:49legs i guess he shakes only just a couple of his legs furiously the chamber itself actually maybe
04:55we'll get to that in a second let's pick up fly bart and again it looks pretty good to the
05:00cartoon
05:00episode the one thing i would only really say about this as a critique just to bring in probably the
05:05closest thing to that no gee bart the oranges just don't seem like they're ever orange enough
05:12we get more kind of a darker reddish orange and yet really in the episode bart should really have a
05:17more bright sun-kissed orange i think for what really it is it's not that bad bodies though if
05:23you're looking at the two they look like they are identical to one another for the obvious exception
05:28for the fact that this one just now has a fly head this is now the second also time that
05:33we've
05:33done a fly bart the first one also was playmates back in the day i've done a re-review of
05:38those if
05:38you guys wanted to check those out the interactive play sets i believe it was the first one released
05:43came not just with devil flanders but also fly bart now for the articulation of this guy there's not
05:48really much to be said standard levels only in the head but i gotta say like the head looks pretty

05:53he just really needs like a box of sugar or just a plate of syrup you want more syrup honey
06:00um but yeah he doesn't really have much in the way of accessories but i guess you could technically
06:04count the chamber as being the more substantial of the accessories anyways but again like for the rest
06:10of the body pretty much by now it's all still the same stuff we got of course the peggles and
06:14the
06:14bottoms of the figure's feet kind of really does look like a surprise to ghost doesn't it
06:19what's going on for the articulation though for barts the head is going to be rotating all the
06:25way around it's only just going to be on a peg after all arms do also move forward and back
06:29you
06:29can bring those out there is a swivel right here where right there there is also a hinge in the
06:36elbow
06:37hands rotate all the way around barts have done that before barts will do that again there's also a
06:42swivel here the waist legs split out forward and back they go on the legs bend at the knee
06:48articulation on the tiny little feet and uh yeah good looking fly barts put him right over here
06:54now the chamber first of all did take a little bit of cutting in order to get
06:59art freed from it there was a lot of twist ties when finally though getting it out it won't work
07:04right away the one thing you'll have to do first is actually remove the little restraining piece of
07:08plastic that's lodged right in here where are we still doing that right there gotta pull the plastic
07:14out first and then from there there is an on and an off which is really hard to see why
07:21do i feel
07:21like it was already on on on on rather than being on off what we're just confusing things here but

07:29switch it from off to on activates the lights now you're probably looking at that right now this this
07:35guy is full of crap there i don't see any lights whatsoever jack first of all my name's not jack
07:40there is a button here on the side and when you do press the button it says dna mismatch
07:46then it will fade down below also here we just press the button again this section right here will
07:52also illuminate now it doesn't seem to matter though if you press the button what it really
07:59only just does is it reloads the sequence and again it's a very short sequence dna mismatch
08:06it's a good size chamber although it would really mean that i would end up getting myself a second
08:10fly bar and at the price that i'm not going to tell you what the price i paid for it

08:32some extra unnecessary costs but if you happen to get this on the cheap like again online sites seem
08:39to have this for i think around 26 99 27 that's not really all that bad get yourself a second

08:50episode yeah have two chambers just instead of just the one the bard itself again is just going to be
08:55really the same bard as this one right here so nothing really at all changes with that but i do

08:59though that they included the chamber which is one thing really that jacks did do better i'm just
09:04gonna move the chamber back here just for a second which was actually one thing that jacks did do better
09:08than playmates because playmates really only just grouped fly bards with like what another three
09:13characters actually though those three characters correct me if i'm wrong kong homer was one of them
09:19devil flanders was another one and uh was it dracula burns i think it was dracula burns so in some
09:24sense
09:25though we have recreated the only thing we really need is a tiny little crusty doll what was the other
09:29one oh devil flanders of course this would really recreate what we essentially got in the playmates
09:34interactive play sets treehouse of horrors but again of course now we're getting it from the folks over
09:39at jacks i like that first that they included uh well deep cut characters and i don't just say that
09:45because we're looking also at werewolf flanders but characters that you don't tend to see a whole lot
09:49when it comes to merch and and trios of horror like for example vampire crusty the fact that we got

09:53grim ripper homer i think though we did get a super seven smaller reaction of grim ripper homer but
09:58then we also got a werewolf flanders the fact that we now also get ourselves a bart he's a smaller
10:03obvious figure so it isn't just the case that they could sell him for the same price as all the
10:07other
10:07figures in fact he's actually a little bit more than those other figures and for that obviously it
10:11was smart on their part to include the chamber as well uh i don't know again if i really want
10:16to get
10:16myself a second chamber i mean it would really be cool to have kind of them booked end on both
10:21sides
10:21but that would mean first of all i'm spending a whole lot more than i was initially wanting to do
10:25and it would also mean that i'd have myself two fly barts instead of just the one now hold on

10:30second magic storyteller you had mentioned before about having reviewed the playmates trios of horror
10:35set why would you have not brought that one in for comparison's sake as well you know when we had
10:40switched gears from being playmates then to jack specific i kind of went through a period of time where
10:44i was purging a lot of my old playmate stuff and it just so happened that on the chopping block
10:49was my
10:49interactive simpsons treehouse of horror play sets but that set had i still had it i would have had
10:55the chance to bring it back in and you guys would be able to see the playmates fly bart versus
10:59the one
10:59that we get here from jackson yes don't need to correct me because i wasn't wrong it was in fact
11:04kong homer it was devil flanders it was uh dracula burns and it was fly bart but was also in
11:09there too
11:10not just the evil crusty doll but it was also the gremlin up on the treetop you know funny though

11:15of all the sets that playmates did for the treehouse of horror i think the one that's the
11:19most nostalgic for me happens to be that very first set and it just so happens that that first set
11:24also has fly bart in it granted though fly bart did not come include the teleporting chamber whether
11:30again i was selling for two dollars i think two dollars was already a deal but the fact that homer
11:34was able to get walk away with both chambers for only 35 cents best 35 cents i would have ever
11:40spent
11:40if i had gotten that set for this but unfortunately though it wasn't 35 cents it wasn't at all two
11:45dollars if to get this online it was going to be more like 27 dollars and it was probably like
11:52over double that to get it over on amazon somebody right now is doing the math on that and they're
11:56like what 60 dollars but it was actually a little bit more than 60 but it was a little bit
12:01more expensive
12:01and i had to wait a little longer and it worked sort of out that way when i had looked
12:06at then the
12:06other two figures well it was vampire crusty and it was also going to be grim ripper homer because
12:10we've already looked at werewolf flanders i had said in that review i believe that i was still
12:14waiting to get my hands on fly bart well just the way that things worked out lady luck was on
12:18my side
12:19and it just so happened that at the time that i was doing the reviews and posting the reviews
12:23for grim ripper homer and vampire crusty lo and behold this one showed up at my doorstep as well what
12:29do you guys think of vampire well sorry not vampire bart what do you guys think of fly bart and
12:35the
12:35teleporting chamber uh i think probably die now we're probably not gonna be getting any more
12:40simpsons treehouse of horror figures from jack specific i know there is still donut homer i would
12:44love to get my hands on that one as well and there's lard lad but for the smaller scale the
12:49ones that are at least posable i think this is pretty much all we're gonna be getting for 2026
12:54i hope though that jacks is still gonna have the license by 2027 the time that that rolls around
12:58what characters would you guys like to see from like the simpsons treehouse of horror it doesn't have to
13:03really necessarily be the obvious ones like devil flanders but what would be a character that
13:08you've seen in the show specifically the treehouse of horror that you'd love to see get released now
13:13we do have a werewolf flanders i tell you one that i would really like to get also as well
