00:00Welcome back to The Traitors Uncloaked, the official visualised podcast hosted by me, Ed Gamble.
00:06You know by now, superfans, this is your spoiler warning.
00:09If you haven't caught up with episode 11, then go and do that right now on BBC iPlayer.
00:14And I cannot believe I get to do this again. Two nights on the trot.
00:20Yes, the faithful have caught another traitor,
00:24with Freddy named by everyone else at the round table
00:26and Francesca winning the extraordinary power of the seer.
00:30Coming up, Freddy will be here to discuss Charlotte's treacherous double crossing.
00:33We're joined by Wilf from Series 1 and Diane and Harry from Series 2
00:37to talk final game strategy for both The Traitors and The Faithful.
00:41Plus, Rose Matafeo will be here to dissect all the drama ahead of the final.
00:51Welcome back, Wilf, Harry, Diane, and welcome Rose Matafeo for the first time.
00:56Thank you for joining me for the last episode of Uncloaked, before the grand finale.
01:02What an episode it was, though.
01:05Deception.
01:07This is the energy.
01:09This is the energy we need.
01:11I'm sad about it, to be fair.
01:12So I'm like, I'm sad.
01:14No more to watch, she means.
01:16Yeah, it's sad about the fact there's only one more episode left,
01:19but what an episode this was.
01:21We've got loads to discuss.
01:22We've got the final mission of the series,
01:24where the clowns and the dolls returned.
01:26Not a phrase I thought we'd be saying at the start of the series, to be honest.
01:29We've got Freddy's massive lie that became his undoing,
01:32and how the power of the seer might change everything for our remaining players.
01:38So that's where we left it.
01:39So let's start there on Uncloaked, with the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers,
01:43when Frankie decides to use her seer power on Charlotte.
01:48Players, the seer has made their decision.
01:57The person they want to invite to their private meeting is...
02:16Charlotte.
02:18Charlotte.
02:20Ooh.
02:23Well, that couldn't have gone much worse for Charlotte, I don't think.
02:26Not at all.
02:27Not at all.
02:28You can see that smile.
02:30She's preparing herself for the worst-case scenario,
02:32and this is the worst-case scenario.
02:34I mean, it's obviously going to change the game massively.
02:37I did not expect Frankie to do this.
02:39Well, she said as much.
02:40She said that she wants to confirm that she's a faithful, right?
02:42So I don't know if she's going into this with any suspicion of Charlotte.
02:46I don't think she is.
02:46I think for the first time, she's got it so wrong that she's got it right.
02:50I think that's the case, right?
02:51Yeah.
02:52It's an interesting use of the power, isn't it?
02:54Because you would have thought that power should be used to find someone who you think
02:59is a traitor.
03:00What Frankie is doing is trying to double-check that she knows who at least one of the faithfuls
03:05is going into that final game, which is smart, but she's accidentally found a traitor.
03:09Yeah.
03:09I mean, what do we think is going to happen?
03:11Any idea?
03:12Because obviously we know that Charlotte now has to reveal to Frankie that she is a traitor.
03:17After that, this is Charlotte now in the end of an episode of Breaking Bad, where it feels
03:24like there's no way out.
03:25Is there any room for Charlotte to go, no, I didn't.
03:28I said it was a faithful one.
03:28Of course.
03:29I think Charlotte needs to spin the book, like spin the page or whatever you're saying.
03:33Turn the table.
03:34Yeah, there we go.
03:34Thanks for the help.
03:35Sorry, Rose.
03:36Sorry, Rose.
03:36Spin the book.
03:37Yeah, spin the book.
03:38Spin the book.
03:39And see what page you land on.
03:40How do you think Charlotte's feeling now, Harry, in this situation?
03:43How would you be feeling?
03:44I'd be so, like, demoralised because I've worked so hard.
03:48And also she thought, like, she did an amazing job with stitching up Freddie as well and backstabbing
03:52him.
03:53So she thought she was in the final and she was sort of plain sailing.
03:55But now this whole Sia twist has let her down.
03:59But again, nothing would be stopping me.
04:00I would be, like, trying to play her at her own game.
04:03Like, people think it's you because of this.
04:05And maybe I'd say to her, like, just let me win and I'll give you some money.
04:08Charlotte has been particularly unlucky because she went in with a false Welsh accent.
04:12Ellen was Welsh.
04:14Now she thinks she's got it.
04:15And the seer had the other four, however many were left, call up.
04:20And they've called up Charlotte.
04:21I couldn't believe it.
04:22It's been quite unlucky, really, for Charlotte, to be fair.
04:24Really unlucky.
04:25And I think Harry's right.
04:26She's done this amazing move on Freddie that we'll talk more about later.
04:29And that should be it.
04:30That should be the cherry on the cake.
04:32That should be her romping home.
04:33That's the traitors.
04:34Unpredictable.
04:35The whole way through.
04:36My only other thought was, could Charlotte go in there, say I'm a traitor, because she has
04:40to, also say, and I'm not Welsh, and speak in her real voice.
04:44So when they both come out of there and Frankie says, she's a traitor, also she's not Welsh,
04:48Charlotte could go, she's gone mad.
04:53What are you talking about?
04:54Just in her Welsh accent again.
04:56That's a great tactic.
04:58How do we think Frankie is going to take Charlotte's revelation, Rose?
05:01I think if Charlotte asked nicely and be like, can you not tell?
05:05Frankie would do it.
05:06Frankie would be like, really?
05:08Like, she just wouldn't tell.
05:09Do you think?
05:10Well, she's in a, no, of course not.
05:12That would be insane.
05:13What are you talking about?
05:14I was looking at you like, what are you talking about?
05:16We watched the same series.
05:18Are you kidding?
05:19But then I do think, you know, I mean, I think, I honestly think Francesca might cry
05:24when Charlotte tells her that she's a traitor.
05:26I know, that she's a traitor, because she'll be so stressed out.
05:30But I don't think, I think Charlotte, she's, she's already been showing so many sides of
05:35cracking, like the entire time through that round table, being asked to be, to be called
05:39into the, to see the seer.
05:40She's smiling.
05:41She's like, the whole time she's like.
05:42But I thought that was an amazing reaction to, to smile.
05:46Because I would burst into tears and throw myself through the window.
05:49I think.
05:50Do you know what Francesca's done?
05:51It's been wrong so many times.
05:53Is there a way she can fumble this?
05:55Like, does anyone think there's a way she can mess it up?
05:57I don't know.
05:58She can't, really.
05:59Just go in there and say, yeah, she's straight away.
06:01No, but don't forget, she got the Mina thing when they were doing that chess game, as the
06:05voice that was least relevant or whatever.
06:07She got that.
06:08And she also got what Mina was doing.
06:10She was instrumental.
06:10So she's coming to her own, maybe.
06:12Yeah, yeah, yeah.
06:13You know, I mean, I adored her at the beginning.
06:15I thought, oh my God, you know, great, strong woman.
06:17Then she was very quiet.
06:18Then she cried a lot.
06:19But I think she's coming into her own now.
06:21Well, definitely, she just got the seer position, you know?
06:23So, understandably, everyone was desperate to win the seer power in the mission, which
06:29came down to who banked the most gold individually.
06:31Let's look at how they approached the first task when they had to memorise which clowns
06:36had gold.
06:38Are we aiming looking at the coins or the skulls?
06:41Because there's two ways.
06:41OK.
06:41Jake made a really great suggestion that we focus on the five skulls, not the ten ones
06:47who've got money.
06:48So we only have to look at five of them.
06:49OK, players, my clowns are impatient.
06:52They've got something really special to show you.
06:59Right.
06:59I've got scores.
07:00I've got this one down there.
07:02I've got that one down there.
07:03I've got that one down there.
07:04I've got the one by the one.
07:05No, I've got the first on the bottom.
07:08That's some top-level play from Jake, isn't it?
07:10I hadn't thought of that as an option.
07:12I mean, I think he's shown himself to be quite the leader.
07:15Amazing.
07:16His gameplay the whole way through has just been top-notch.
07:18Definitely as a faithful.
07:19I'm not sure about that.
07:21Why did he not pick?
07:22No, he mentioned Linda and then didn't go for her.
07:24I know.
07:25But then you need...
07:26The thing is, it's all about strategy.
07:27If you go for someone...
07:28Like, if he went for Linda straight away at the start and didn't get enough people
07:33on his side, Linda could have just turned around and murdered him.
07:35Because if I was a traitor and he said it was me at the start, but no one else voted
07:39for me, I would have got rid of him straight away.
07:41What do we think about the dolls making a return?
07:44Enjoy the...
07:44I mean, this was obviously a game of risk.
07:46You pull it as many times as you have the cojones for.
07:50And hope that they don't call you greedy and you lose all the money.
07:53How would you have been at this, Rose?
07:55Terrible.
07:55I would have been terrible.
07:57I would have ended the game before I pulled the string.
07:59I'm so terrified of risk.
08:01I would have hated it.
08:03I think after watching this series, I would have thought I would have been good on The
08:06Traitors.
08:07This series, I'm like, I would have sucked so hard.
08:11I would have been stressed out this entire time.
08:14As a faithful or a traitor?
08:15Both.
08:16Yeah.
08:16Both.
08:17I want no part of it.
08:18Can I just say that?
08:19I want no part of any future series.
08:21If you're considering...
08:21Oh, I don't know.
08:22Honestly, it's a lot of fun.
08:24There's no celebrity traitors coming up, Rose.
08:25I am actually still...
08:26I'm on the table again.
08:27I'm on the table.
08:29I am fully into it, yeah.
08:32I think the most fascinating part of this mission for me was Alexander choosing to give
08:37Frankie all of his coins in that final mission.
08:40But that's sensible thinking.
08:41He wasn't going to win anyway, so he was trying to just cement the fact he was a faithful.
08:46Yeah.
08:46And obviously, he trusts Frankie, so go for it.
08:49His whole play was, I'm going to help you win, Frankie, and then you pick me to ask me
08:55whether I'm a faithful or a traitor, and I can prove to you once and for all that I'm
08:58a faithful, and she went and picked Charlotte.
09:00I've got to say, though, I love him so much.
09:02I've just got to say, he's the best.
09:03It feels like you're slightly gutted that he wasn't out on this episode, so you could
09:07have met him.
09:07I did.
09:08Kind of.
09:09I was like...
09:11I've never seen somebody who's such a good faithful be seen as a traitor all the time.
09:16Yeah.
09:16Like, I've never seen him.
09:18Okay, okay, but...
09:19Do you need some water, Diane?
09:21Do you want some fizzy rose, Diane?
09:22Do you want some fizzy rose, Diane?
09:24Please.
09:25We should talk about Charlotte's gameplay.
09:27We should talk about the shield gameplay.
09:29Oh, yeah.
09:30Telling Freddie that they're going to murder Leanne, knowing full well she's got the shield.
09:34Leanne walks into breakfast.
09:36Freddie just looked like he wanted to go home at that point.
09:39He was so baffled and so confused.
09:42It knew that he'd been thrown under the bus.
09:44What do we think about that as a piece of play, Harry?
09:46Because obviously in the previous series, your shield gameplay was something that carried
09:51you through.
09:52Charlotte's done the right move.
09:53I said, as we was watching it, I would have done the same thing.
09:56But I think she should have twisted it in a way that she would have told Freddie that
10:01she knew Leanne had the shield.
10:03But she should have tried to lie to Freddie in the turret, saying, you know, like, if it
10:06was me personally, I would have been like, Freddie, I know Leanne's got the shield, but
10:10I think we should still murder her to cover up the fact that, like, she's then tried
10:14pinning it on herself.
10:15Would Freddie have gone for that?
10:16Because he was one of the ones who didn't know about the shield.
10:17I don't know that, but that's the risk you've got to take, I think, as a traitor.
10:20At one point, I did think Freddie's going to do something amazing here, because when
10:24it all happens, and he says, oh, she's double-crossed me, she's thrown me under the bus, well, she
10:29better watch out, because I'm coming for her.
10:31And then the lie, the lie he told him, when he said, oh, I knew about the shield, I think
10:37I did.
10:38Who told you?
10:39Mina.
10:39A ghost?
10:40Mina wasn't even there.
10:42He's like, Mina?
10:43I felt for him so much.
10:45I was just out of his depth and said the first thing that came into his head.
10:48He's made a traitor, like, a few hours before.
10:51And what he should have said in that, I was screaming at the telly, when someone said,
10:55who told you about the shield?
10:57He should have said Charlotte.
10:58Charlotte, yeah.
10:58Just thrown that hand grenade straight back at her and seen how she dealt with it.
11:02But instead he said Mina.
11:03So obviously, Charlotte is really rolling with what's happening to her.
11:06So, you know, these things are being thrown up.
11:09Mina's going.
11:10She gets Freddie.
11:11She does all of this.
11:12How much of the game is instinct versus calculation, Will?
11:14What we've seen is when she'd become a traitor, she really come into herself and really found
11:19the role.
11:20I think as a faithful, she was up and down at times, especially at the beginning.
11:24But all of a sudden, soon as she put that cloak on, she took a different role.
11:27She was like, I'm going for Mina.
11:28I'm going to get out of Mina.
11:29She knew that she was going to get Freddie and get him out.
11:31She fully immersed the backslabbing traitor role.
11:34And I don't think it's by accident at all.
11:37I think she's collective.
11:38She knows exactly what she's going to do.
11:41I think we didn't give her props to how intelligent she was at the beginning, I think.
11:44She was just quiet.
11:45Quiet, yeah.
11:47With a false wild shout out.
11:48Yeah, yeah, yeah.
11:50But now...
11:51No wonder she was quiet.
11:52Yeah, she's scared to talk.
11:54She's scared to mess it up.
11:56But yeah, we've just seen her come into her element, play the game really well.
12:00And she's by far the best recruited traitor there's been.
12:03I think from what I've seen anyway...
12:04What about Ross?
12:07Sorry, Ross.
12:09I love you.
12:10Ross shares a record with Freddie for a traitor who didn't murder anyone.
12:15So Charlotte's expert treachery led to Freddie's banishment at the round table.
12:20He's going to be joining us shortly in the studio.
12:21So let's remind ourselves of his final moments in the castle.
12:25Freddie, you have received the most votes and you are banished from the castle.
12:30Before you leave us forever, please reveal, are you a faithful or are you a traitor?
12:37It has been the honour of my life playing this game.
12:39I think you're all an amazing bunch of people.
12:42I love you, Leanne.
12:43I love you, Frankie, so much.
12:48I am a traitor.
12:58Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
13:01Oh, my God.
13:07And he's here with us now.
13:09Please welcome Freddie.
13:13Welcome to Uncloaked, Freddie.
13:15Thank you so much for joining us.
13:17That's all right.
13:17Thank you for having me.
13:18What was it like standing up there, having to say you were a traitor, knowing that 24
13:22hours beforehand, you were a faithful?
13:24It was actually the worst thing because since the start, everyone thought I was a traitor,
13:27like going through the whole entire thing.
13:29I thought I wanted that one moment to be, say I was a faithful.
13:32To rub it in their face.
13:32Exactly.
13:33You've been wrong the whole entire time.
13:35In that moment when you said, I love you, Leanne, I love you, Frankie, was that a genuine
13:42thing or was it an attempt to maybe push something onto Charlotte?
13:46It was the first thing that I thought, because I thought I've grown closest with these two,
13:50like Frankie was like my mum in there and then Leanne was like my best.
13:52But then when you said that, it kind of just looked like I've just singled out Charlotte
13:56and left it like that.
13:57It would have been amazing if you'd also said, I love you, Alexander, I love you, Jane.
14:01And then I might have gave it away a little bit.
14:02And then just looked at Charlotte and gone, hmm.
14:05Enjoy.
14:07Now, at the start of the round table, Claudia asked you to all look at each other and say,
14:12I am faithful.
14:13How did that feel?
14:15I thought you've really picked your moment to do this now because any other time I'd
14:18have been happy looking at everyone being like that.
14:20But then obviously because there was a traitor, I was like, for God's sake, I was like, please.
14:24And obviously the mission before that as well, like I've just been the whole entire day
14:27was just like trying to defend myself, but it was just dreadful.
14:30Right from the breakfast as well, that it was, it was you, it was doing the piece to
14:34the camera and saying, and now I've got to go into breakfast and I'm really bad at lying.
14:37And I was like, this is not going to go well.
14:39It didn't go well at all.
14:40It didn't go well.
14:41I mean, I do want to talk about this particular moment because I think we're all obsessed
14:46with this moment that you decided to say that someone had told you that Leanne had
14:50a shield.
14:50Well, because I was just panicking straight away.
14:52We saw.
14:55I was completely taken aback.
14:56I'm quite naive.
14:57I thought, oh, like Charlotte will be nice to me.
14:59Like we'll be friends or whatever.
15:00I walk in there and then I think Jake goes, oh, Leanne has a shield.
15:03And then she was like, oh, me, Charlotte and Frankie knew.
15:06And I was like, I just looked at her and I thought, you, oh, I cannot believe that.
15:09And then it just, I just all capsized from there.
15:11And I kind of knew from that minute on.
15:12I was like, well, okay, just banish me now.
15:14And then at the round table, doubling down on that lie and saying that Mina had told you
15:18after the round table that Mina had been banished at.
15:21I was crumbling.
15:22Yeah.
15:22I think you'd already, you already knew.
15:24I kind of already thought like, it's me.
15:26It's my time to go.
15:28I'm gone.
15:28Let's take another look at that moment.
15:30What do you mean?
15:31Well, does that mean you, someone tried to murder you?
15:33What it means is either Alexander or Freddie has tried to murder me.
15:36Well, it wasn't me.
15:40Alexander, anything?
15:41Obviously not me.
15:42Obviously, I will say that either way.
15:45I just kind of thought you were too right, right in it.
15:48I'm not going to lie.
15:51Did you know she had a shield?
15:54Yeah, I think so, yeah.
15:55Oh, okay.
15:55Oh, my God.
15:57Yeah, Mina told me that you had a shield.
16:00Mina didn't know.
16:03Oh, mate.
16:04Oh, mate, I feel so bad laughing because she's right here.
16:09It's devastating.
16:09It is devastating that moment.
16:10I don't actually know why that came out of my...
16:13Because I think straight after that clip, Alexander was like,
16:15actually, someone who has a shield could have framed us.
16:17And I thought, you're a smart man, aren't you?
16:19And then because I said it, I thought, I've got to go with my line now.
16:21But he's not been through everything you had to go through.
16:23Yeah, exactly.
16:24From being a faithful and being suspected for the majority of the game so far
16:28and then being right, at least I get to make it to the end as a faithful
16:31and everyone will know, to being recruited.
16:33And you just look so downhearted when you're recruited.
16:35Just went, I don't want to be a traitor.
16:37Did you genuinely believe that?
16:38Like, because you just said that Charlotte was going to be really nice.
16:41Like, did you believe that she was in the game to keep you in the game?
16:43I don't...
16:44I'm quite naive.
16:45I was just like, I just thought, oh, like maybe...
16:46Because in my thought, I thought, me and you can maybe win this together.
16:49I'm quite like, I take people at face value.
16:50I thought, okay, she said all the right things to me.
16:52Obviously, I know it's a traitor.
16:54So I know that she's just completely backstabbed me.
16:55And it's like, she probably is going to backstab me.
16:57So I kind of knew that.
16:59But I just didn't think it would be the moment I walked into breakfast.
17:02I thought she might start whispering my name about a little bit.
17:04And then be like, let's get Freddie out.
17:05Not like, straight away.
17:09Who was scarier for you?
17:10The evil clowns, the haunted dolls or the undead Leanne?
17:13The undead Leanne.
17:14As soon as I saw those, like, blonde hair walk through the door,
17:16I thought, oh, my God, there's no way.
17:19There's no way.
17:20When you were asked, you know, who told you about the shield,
17:24why did Charlotte's name not come to you?
17:26I don't know.
17:27I was panicking.
17:28I just thought, I just panicked.
17:29Well, you can understand why, though.
17:30I didn't want to, like, I don't know.
17:32I should have just called her after that when I said Charlotte
17:33because then she would have been like, what?
17:34And I'd be like, she's lying.
17:36I think you go down in history for me as a faithful
17:39because you didn't even murder anyone.
17:40And I voted for Charlotte at the end as well.
17:42That was my little.
17:43Yeah.
17:43I was going to say, did it never cross your mind
17:45as soon as you saw it was Charlotte?
17:46Okay, I need to get rid of her instead
17:48because she's going to come for me.
17:50Yeah, but I think because.
17:51He didn't have time, man.
17:52But like, as soon as I, like, I just don't know.
17:54Like, in my mind, if I had seen Charlotte,
17:56knowing what she had done to everyone else,
17:57I would have known that I was damned.
17:59So I wouldn't have even believed her
18:00when she was telling me about the Leanne murder, Leanne.
18:03Like, I would have just been like, hmm, you seem a bit dodgy.
18:06And then that whole night,
18:07I would have just come up with a way to get rid of Charlotte.
18:08Yeah, I didn't even think of it.
18:10But now looking back on it,
18:11she really did lead that Leanne charge.
18:12I was like, oh my God.
18:14Why did I not see that?
18:14She pitches it as if she's going to subtly sort of like
18:18lead you towards Leanne.
18:20But she basically tells you what to do.
18:21She does good.
18:22And obviously, I've not been a traitor.
18:23So I was like, yeah, I'll do whatever you want, Charlotte.
18:25I'll do whatever you want.
18:26What about your relationship with Charlotte throughout the game?
18:29Because you said you were closest to Frankie and Leanne.
18:32Me and Charlotte did get along really well.
18:33And like, it was kind of after the whole clique argument,
18:36I kind of moved towards like Frankie, Joe and Charlotte
18:38sort of like corner rather than the others.
18:40So we became friends through that.
18:42But then she did that to me.
18:44And now you find out she's not actually Welsh.
18:46Oh my God.
18:48I was going to say,
18:49do you know all the secrets from Leanne as well?
18:52Yeah, so I found that out now.
18:53But like, it was just, for example, with Leanne,
18:56like she's played it perfectly.
18:57Like you go in as blonde, you wear a pink blazer.
18:59No one's going to question that you're a soldier.
19:00It's really bad with stereotypes of that,
19:02but you just assume that she's a nail tech.
19:04And then with Charlotte, I just like,
19:06why would I question someone's accent?
19:07I just don't see the point of it personally.
19:09I was like, why would I ever like question like,
19:11you're not from Wales?
19:12Like that doesn't make you a traitor or a faithful.
19:14But look, a lot of people have said that,
19:15but it's worked for her.
19:17Whatever she's doing is absolutely working for her.
19:20I think she was meant to be a traitor
19:21from the very beginning.
19:22Like I think she was kind of born a traitor
19:25and then she just lucked out to be a faithful.
19:27So you mean from the beginning of her life?
19:29From the beginning of her entire life.
19:32But I think it's such a real advantage
19:33to gain people's trust as being a pure faithful
19:35for so long.
19:36And then when you switch to a traitor,
19:38I think you're at such an advantage.
19:39So you learn both ways of acting.
19:42And then obviously she had longer
19:44to know how to be at the breakfast table
19:46and just act totally normal than you did.
19:49And like, yeah, she's just at such a huge advantage.
19:51So I think she did well.
19:53And yeah, I mean, I don't know.
19:55What was your take on her
19:56when you saw her at the table?
19:58Well, I just like,
19:59I respected the craftsmanship of it.
20:00I was like, okay, this is really respectable.
20:02Like you've played a great game here.
20:03But I just thought,
20:04I can't believe you did that to me.
20:05I was like, I thought we were friends or whatever.
20:06But obviously this is quite a cutthroat game.
20:08Did you think about just chucking a croissant at her?
20:11I should have chucked several croissants at her.
20:14Why has Freddie just chucked a croissant at Charlotte?
20:16My plan was to not like argue with her at all
20:20throughout the whole day.
20:20So then she thought she got away with Scott Free.
20:22But I was always going to vote for her at the end.
20:24But I was like,
20:24I'll just let her think that I don't care or whatever.
20:26But I thought I'll just vote for you
20:27regardless of whatever this happens.
20:29Because not all the traitors vote for traitors
20:31that have, you know,
20:32stuck a knife in the back.
20:33And I think, yeah,
20:34and because no one's,
20:35no one thought it was her ever.
20:37So I just thought,
20:37well, I'll just vote for you.
20:39Yeah.
20:40I think that was,
20:41when you did that,
20:42I was like,
20:42oh, that could,
20:42that could be problematic for Charlotte.
20:44Little did I know around the corner
20:45was a way bigger problem to come.
20:47What would you have done if you was to see her?
20:49Well, I think I won.
20:51I think,
20:51going back there,
20:52I think I got quite a lot of money.
20:53So I thought I won.
20:54If I was doing,
20:55I would either,
20:56actually after Charlotte's
20:57throwing me on the bus,
20:58I would have done her as a seeer
20:59and then told everyone
21:00that she was a traitor probably.
21:02And then just throw it back in her face.
21:04Obviously she-
21:04So you are a traitor.
21:05Yeah.
21:07All of this,
21:07look,
21:08I'm a faithful,
21:08I hated having to be a traitor.
21:10Mate, you love it.
21:11You was going to betray her.
21:12In hindsight, right,
21:13if you didn't pick Leanne,
21:14who would you have picked instead?
21:15I would have probably murdered Jake
21:17just because he,
21:18he kind of thought it was a boy.
21:20He thought it was even me, Alexander
21:21and he was leaning more towards me
21:22every single time.
21:23So I would have just got rid of Jake.
21:24And if that maybe looks special,
21:25I would have just tried to run with it.
21:26You would have kept your allies in there as well.
21:28Yeah, exactly.
21:29Yeah, yeah, yeah.
21:29So inside the castle as well,
21:31towards the end for Charlotte's gameplay now,
21:33was there any thought,
21:34because obviously there's been women power
21:36the whole series,
21:37because Jake pushing the whole male narrative,
21:40I think that's a good cover for Charlotte too,
21:42because there's been three traitors
21:43that's been caught
21:44and they're all women.
21:45So did anyone think
21:46there could be another woman in the turret?
21:48I think we all kind of wrongly decided
21:51that there'd have to be a boy in there,
21:52which is so silly when you look back on it.
21:54But like, Jake kept going like,
21:56oh, it has to be a boy
21:56and it's not me.
21:57And it's one of you two.
21:58And obviously me and Alexander were like,
21:59well, it's not us.
22:00It must be one of you two.
22:00So then we were like fighting between ourselves
22:02when Charlotte's just getting away scot-free.
22:04But Alexander wasn't convinced
22:05there would be a...
22:05Yeah, Alexander was quite smart.
22:07He thought, no, it's quite...
22:09And we should have probably thought like,
22:11if they started with three women,
22:13if they recruited,
22:13they're probably going to recruit another woman
22:15just to keep that girl power.
22:16But obviously you don't think of that
22:17when you're in there.
22:17I do like the boldness of Alexander saying,
22:19well, it's not me,
22:20but I would say that either way.
22:23I see where you're coming from.
22:24Yeah.
22:25You liked that, didn't you, Rose?
22:26I did.
22:28I liked it.
22:30So we're almost
22:31at the Traitors Series 3 final.
22:33I am so excited.
22:34I cannot wait to see what happens.
22:37The Frankie Sear power.
22:39This is a huge twist.
22:41It's massive.
22:41And the outcome of the final
22:43could all hang on this.
22:44But I want to ask all of you,
22:46did anyone notice this
22:47in episode nine?
22:53It's been there all along.
22:55The Easter eggs were there.
22:57I don't know what's in that book.
22:59I wonder if anyone had picked that book up
23:00and read it.
23:01They might have got the power straight away.
23:02Maybe if Yin was still in.
23:03Well, Yin didn't get a chance.
23:05Yeah, well, Yin read the books.
23:06That's why she went.
23:08But in addition,
23:09all the way back in episode one,
23:10Claudia told the players
23:11about another twist.
23:13Let's have a reminder.
23:14Listen carefully.
23:17Those who make it to the final
23:19will no longer reveal
23:21their true identities
23:22as they leave.
23:25Instead,
23:25you will need to rely solely
23:27on your instincts
23:29as to whether any traitors
23:31are left in the game.
23:34Some classic Linda faces
23:35at the end of that clip.
23:37We talked about this a bit already,
23:38but how do we think
23:40this is going to affect
23:41the final game, Harry?
23:42It's going to be so unpredictable
23:43of what's going to happen,
23:44clearly,
23:45because I haven't got a clue
23:45what's going to go on.
23:46When it was like my series
23:48and series one with Wilf,
23:50like,
23:50you can sort of work out
23:51that there must be one traitor left
23:53or two traitors left.
23:54So once you get that traitor
23:55who stands up and says,
23:56I'm a traitor,
23:57then you can sort of end the game.
23:59Now there's no hope
24:00of knowing who's who.
24:02So I think if anyone's got
24:03a grudge with anyone
24:04or they have one slight feeling
24:06that it's anyone,
24:07they're just going to go for them
24:08and re-vote again.
24:10Rose,
24:10who do you think
24:10this twist benefits the most?
24:12Is it the traitors
24:12or the faithful?
24:13I think it benefits the traitor.
24:16Yeah.
24:16I think so.
24:17This group feels like
24:18they go so off vibes.
24:20So if they can,
24:21to be honest,
24:22I feel like if they can get Charlotte
24:24and they've got this win
24:26off getting a traitor,
24:27I think they possibly could be like...
24:29Then they won't know
24:30Charlotte's a traitor.
24:31This is the twist.
24:32It's so true, yeah.
24:33So this is the maddest thing
24:35about the game.
24:35Unless they're convinced
24:36by Frankie.
24:38Yeah, but even if they get rid of her,
24:40they then don't know
24:40whether Frankie's telling the truth.
24:42Frankie should have just
24:43got another faithful in
24:44and said,
24:44look, we're both faithfuls.
24:45We can't trust anyone else.
24:46Just get rid of all of them
24:47and split it 50-50.
24:48But that's just a traitor.
24:49But she thinks Charlotte's a traitor.
24:50She thinks Charlotte's a traitor.
24:51Maybe that's what she was trying to do.
24:52I think that's what she was trying to do.
24:52It's going to completely backfire on that.
24:54Yeah, and now she's just
24:54caught a traitor.
24:55Do you think, though,
24:56before you left,
24:57where was the balance
24:58going towards
25:00Charlotte or Frankie?
25:01I think people would have
25:02voted out Frankie
25:03before they voted out Charlotte.
25:04Really?
25:05Yeah, like Charlotte's
25:05like completely undetected.
25:07Frankie's been quite quiet.
25:09Why are they still...
25:10Why?
25:10I don't know.
25:11There was this whole...
25:11There was a whole thing.
25:12It was like Leon versus Frankie
25:13in one of the round tables.
25:15It was either Frankie
25:15was going to go
25:16or Leon was going to go.
25:17And I think since then
25:18they started to have
25:19a bit of suspicion.
25:20She got a lot wrong, Frankie.
25:21I think that was...
25:22She's also not voted...
25:23She hasn't voted out a traitor.
25:24No.
25:24She didn't vote out Linda.
25:25She didn't vote out Amani.
25:26Will, would you have liked this
25:28twist to have been in your series?
25:29Because I think
25:30at the time you said
25:31it felt like a relief
25:32to be able to reveal
25:34your status.
25:35But do you think
25:36it might have been quite fun
25:37to not do that?
25:38No, not at all.
25:39I think the weight
25:41that lifts off your shoulders,
25:43especially like...
25:44It was so weird
25:44because I lost,
25:45but I felt like I won
25:46at the same time.
25:47I can't explain the feeling
25:48that was there.
25:49But for me,
25:50being able to say that
25:51and get it off your chest
25:53for these people
25:54to go on and play the game
25:55and win.
25:56Because obviously
25:57I knew I was the last traitor.
25:58They didn't know that,
25:59but I did.
26:00And I was like,
26:00oh my God,
26:01these guys can go and win now.
26:03But imagine not being able
26:04to do that and go,
26:06well, I've left it.
26:07You haven't left it
26:07at the end of the story.
26:09Did you feel a relief
26:10at saying you were a traitor?
26:11The greatest traitor
26:12in the world
26:13if I were in my right life?
26:14That's like
26:15the trickiest question ever
26:16because obviously
26:17if I was in there,
26:18I would love this twist
26:19because it's like
26:20as long as I get to the final,
26:22no one knows
26:23how many traitors there are.
26:24So you need everyone
26:25to trust you as a traitor
26:26this time around
26:27with a twist.
26:28So I'm not too sure,
26:29but I mean,
26:30yeah,
26:30once I said I was a traitor,
26:31I obviously felt bad.
26:32It was about two minutes later
26:33you were running around
26:34outside screaming,
26:34saying I'm the greatest traitor
26:35in the world.
26:36With the gold coins.
26:37Yeah, I know.
26:39Now, Freddie,
26:40we have to ask you
26:40whilst you're here
26:41on Uncloaked,
26:42did you suggest
26:43the shower scenes?
26:46I wasn't against
26:47the idea of going
26:48in the shower.
26:49There was like
26:49a 50-50 decision.
26:51I said,
26:51yeah, sure,
26:52I'll get in the shower.
26:52It's really funny
26:53because normally
26:54it's people's hobbies.
26:58Freddie,
26:58what was the reaction
26:59of your friends and family
27:00when they found out
27:01that you were in the show?
27:02They were pretty shocked
27:03to be fair,
27:04so I told people
27:06when I went for three weeks,
27:07because if I'm not on my phone
27:08my friends are going to be like,
27:09what is going on basically?
27:11But I told my friends
27:12I was on an MI5 internship
27:13sort of thing
27:15because there's the only
27:16other reason why
27:18because the only reason
27:19why I wouldn't be on my phone
27:20because like,
27:20even if like,
27:21I can think of
27:23so many other reasons.
27:24Yes, exactly.
27:26So the bad line was there
27:26from the start,
27:27you can see.
27:29That is so good.
27:29Your phone was broken
27:30springs to mind.
27:32Yeah.
27:33And I'm there with Mina.
27:34I don't know.
27:34Who's Mina?
27:35What?
27:36Freddie,
27:36we are so sorry
27:37you missed out
27:38on the final hurdle.
