00:00Hello there and welcome to the Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked, the official visualised companion podcast hosted by me, Ed Gamble.
00:07And this week, me, Joe Wilkinson.
00:10You should know the drill by now, this podcast is riddled with spoilers.
00:13So if you haven't seen the most recent episode of the Celebrity Traitors, then head to BBC iPlayer right now.
00:19We're almost at the end of this incredible series and there's still so much to discuss.
00:23So what have we got coming up in this episode?
00:26Celia Imri returns to give her verdict on the murder in plain sight.
00:30Kate Garroway will be here to reflect on her banishment.
00:32And Charlotte Church says hello from the other side.
00:35Plus, Series 3 co-champion Jake joins us to give his winner's perspective on this series of the Celebrity Traitors.
00:46Welcome, Jake.
00:47Thanks for having me.
00:48Your first time in the proper Uncloaked studio slash cellar slash basement, of course.
00:54We've got to get straight into chatting about the show.
00:56What did you make of the murder in plain sight?
00:59Oh, I mean, Alan Carr is the best traitor at murdering in plain sight.
01:05He's incredible and he's had to do both of them, to be fair to him.
01:07Which is fair, he took one for the team.
01:09I don't think Kat Burns would have got away with it as much.
01:11When you're watching it, it looks so obvious, but he just does it so effortlessly.
01:15Do you know what I mean?
01:15It's incredible.
01:16He almost kissed Celia in the process.
01:18He leant right in, didn't he?
01:19Now, what do you think the murder in plain sight was?
01:21Well, Alan snogged Celia at the dinner party.
01:23See, maybe that had something to do with it.
01:25Now, I'm very excited to bring on my first celebrity guest, Celia Imry.
01:29But before I do, let's see what she had to say immediately after being murdered up in the Highlands,
01:34when I revealed who the traitors were.
01:41Hello, Celia.
01:42So nice to meet you.
01:44Grab a seat.
01:45Mad about your shirt.
01:46Thank you very much.
01:46I'm mad about your shoes.
01:47Yes, I bet.
01:51Welcome to Uncloaked, Celia.
01:52Thank you very much.
01:53They really are fantastic boots.
01:54I don't want to hang around on them too much, because I've got other questions to ask you,
01:57but they are amazing.
01:58Well, I haven't had a chance to wear them, you see,
02:00and I thought that Claudia would approve had she seen them.
02:03Yes.
02:03But damn it, she hasn't.
02:06Well, we'll make sure she sees this so she can fully approve.
02:09So you were holding them back for maybe further in the game.
02:12I was holding them back for the finale, actually, because I was all ready to win.
02:17Why not?
02:17Is that what you thought?
02:18Were you confident going into the game?
02:19No, of course not.
02:20But as days went on, I thought, well, actually, I haven't got this far,
02:25so I'm really fed up that I didn't, but never mind.
02:29You did come very close, though.
02:30Yeah.
02:30You lost at a good time, and you were absolutely amazing in the game,
02:33iconic in the game.
02:35And you love the show, right?
02:37I do.
02:37You've seen a lot of traitors.
02:38Yes.
02:38So you must have been thrilled when you signed up to do it.
02:40Oh, of course.
02:41I wasn't sure whether, you know, I'd be any good,
02:46but actually once I got the invitation, it was sort of irresistible.
02:51My son's reaction just haunts me, because I didn't tell him, but he said,
02:59well, what are you doing, Mum?
03:00And I said, well, I can't tell you, but you can guess.
03:03When he guessed, he just went, oh, Mum, oh, God, oh, no, meaning you're going to be so embarrassing.
03:10Well, I hope I'm not, but who cares?
03:12Well, you're not at all.
03:14I'm sure he's going to be very, very proud of you, because you've done incredibly well.
03:18What were you looking forward to most about the experience, other than embarrassing your son?
03:22My best friend said, just be yourself.
03:24Well, that's something I rarely have been asked to be, really.
03:30So I determined to see if I could just not play a part, but just be real.
03:39Do you think that's something you managed?
03:40I hope I have, because I think people get the wrong impression of me.
03:45First of all, they think I'm nice, which is ridiculous, because I'm not.
03:50Also, they think I'm a bit posh, which maybe, but not only.
03:56And I hope people think I have more fun than they perhaps imagined.
04:02I think you've had a lot of fun.
04:04I have.
04:04And created a lot of the fun, from what I've seen.
04:06It's such a brilliant game, I think.
04:09But I also think it's cruel.
04:11Yes.
04:12I mean, certainly from a faithful perspective, if you're constantly worried you're going to be murdered.
04:17Yes, funnily enough, I wasn't really.
04:19It's bizarre to say that.
04:21And I was so shocked when they killed me off.
04:25In plain sight.
04:26No, but I think that's the way to go.
04:28I think that's the way you want to go, either in the way that Paloma went, or the way you
04:33went.
04:34You know, in plain sight is so much more memorable and iconic than just sneaking away in the night.
04:39Yes, I think I agree.
04:40Yeah.
04:41Now, this is a very exciting moment, certainly for us.
04:43It might be a worrying moment for you, but we're about to reveal to you who the traitors are.
04:48Well, whoever they are, I'm going to hate them.
04:51That's for certain.
04:52Having loved them, I'm now going to hate them.
04:55Good.
04:55Before I do reveal them to you, I would like to know, do you have any suspicions?
05:00Alan and Joe.
05:03They've particularly been nice to me lately.
05:06So is that what's raised your suspicions about Alan and Joe?
05:09Yes, I'm afraid so.
05:11Yes, I'm afraid so.
05:12Just in the way that Jonathan was.
05:14And what about your definite faithfuls?
05:15Do you have any?
05:17It would be terrible if it turns out to be Nick.
05:20I did ask him point blank, and I believed him when he said he was a faithful.
05:25But then if he is, if he turns out to be a traitor, then God damn it, I was right
05:29at
05:30the very beginning that he was up to something.
05:32Before he was even made a traitor, if he is.
05:34Yeah.
05:35Well, all will now be revealed.
05:37I'm going to give you the scroll now.
05:38We'll go one by one.
05:39Okay.
05:40So, let's, let's see and tell us what you think.
05:45Okay.
05:47Oh, my God.
05:49What's the name?
05:50Kat, but I did, honestly, she was my second vote.
05:55God damn it, little minx.
05:59But you are the only person to have voted for Kat at the Round Table.
06:03Yes, and very early on.
06:04Very second round table.
06:05She was my second one.
06:06Mm.
06:07So, my instinct was right.
06:09It was.
06:10Little devil.
06:12Shall we hear the next name?
06:22Oh, bastard.
06:24Honestly, you see?
06:27Alan, how can you?
06:30You, ah.
06:33You did have suspicions about it.
06:35I did.
06:36Yeah.
06:36And he did this whole act of, when I said, well, I'm worried about it.
06:41Oh, no.
06:44Oh, wait till I meet him next.
06:47Okay, next.
06:49Don't.
06:49No?
06:50That's it.
06:51That's it.
06:54I hate them both.
06:57I was very helpful to Kat.
06:59She said I was.
07:00Yeah.
07:01I think that was real, though.
07:02I think she was genuinely scared on that bridge, and I think you were incredibly helpful.
07:06So, that was real.
07:07Yes, well, I wouldn't, again, next time.
07:09Let her fall.
07:14And here she is, murdered faithful Celia Imry.
07:20Welcome to Uncloat, Celia.
07:22Thank you very much for coming and seeing us.
07:24Of course.
07:24We've got a lot to talk about.
07:26We have.
07:26Of course, you're murder in plain sight.
07:28But before we get to that, can we briefly discuss the fart?
07:32We can.
07:32That it's now out there in the world, as it were.
07:35Apparently, yeah.
07:35But it was only a tiny one.
07:37I know, but it was picked up on everyone's mic.
07:39But the great thing is that it's given everybody a good laugh.
07:43Absolutely.
07:44Did you like it?
07:45I loved it.
07:45I was in hysterics.
07:49We won't hang around on it too long, Celia, but farting is such sweet sorrow.
07:55I've been waiting to say that for so long.
07:57Quite right.
07:58We should talk about this murder in plain sight, because that was an absolutely huge moment.
08:03How do you feel now that you've seen how it happened?
08:05Well, I don't remember it at all, but the genius of it is Alan bringing Stephen into it.
08:11Yes.
08:12Because if he'd started sprouting Shakespeare like that, I'd have thought, what on earth is he on about?
08:17You know, so that was really clever.
08:19Yeah.
08:20And also, it was very interesting, because how the atmosphere has changed.
08:27I mean, watching the most recent ones, it got really serious.
08:32Yeah.
08:32And although the dinner was lovely, it felt a bit peculiar.
08:38But why are they suddenly giving us a dinner?
08:39It seemed a peculiar thing to do at that point.
08:43That's what they do.
08:45Yeah.
08:45They think it's over, and then they just throw another bird ball in there.
08:48I know, I know.
08:49The dinner party is always, there's always a tense atmosphere in Traitors when there's a dinner party.
08:54And sometimes it's used for nefarious things, and then sometimes it's just a nice chat.
08:59So you never know what it's going to be.
09:01I think by that time, we didn't think anything was nice.
09:04Yeah.
09:06Not anything.
09:07We were suspicious all the way around.
09:09You did have a lovely chat at the dinner party.
09:11It was a nice moment.
09:13I didn't.
09:13I didn't.
09:13Also, I thought he was trying to kiss me at one point.
09:17That's what I just said.
09:17Pig.
09:19Yeah, you even say to him, did Stephen kiss you before going to bed?
09:23Exactly.
09:24It was all, I mean, honestly.
09:26And, you know, I was teased because I kept going around the place saying, these traitors are very clever.
09:33I kept saying it to Alan.
09:34Yeah.
09:34But they were.
09:36Yes.
09:37They really, really were.
09:39Well, let's remind ourselves of that moment when Alan sealed your fate.
09:44Stephen, you know, he's just got that brain.
09:47And it's just the quotes and everything he'd say.
09:50And, you know, just all kind of like tempers, you know, and what did he say to me for winter
09:55bed?
09:55Partying is such sweet sorrow, Celia.
09:58Well, you know what I mean?
09:59He was like...
09:59Did he give you a kiss?
10:01No, no, I was trying.
10:02Don't build your hopes up.
10:07Well, Alan's being very clever.
10:08I think, like you say, bringing Stephen into the murder in plain sight.
10:11Honestly, Ed, when you watch it back, Alan's so obvious.
10:17You know, you just think, what were we thinking about?
10:20I mean, I love that he laughs at everything and laughs at saying he's faithful and everything.
10:27It's very, very clever.
10:28He's so obvious that he's not obvious.
10:30And I actually think if he could murder in plain sight every day, I think he'd win.
10:34So do I.
10:35Yeah.
10:35There's a wonderful moment where you do say to Alan, you basically directly ask him, are you a traitor?
10:41I do, yeah.
10:41I don't think you are.
10:42No, thank you.
10:43I'm sure you're not.
10:44I'm not.
10:45No.
10:46I would die if you are.
10:48And he says, oh, no, I wouldn't do that, Celia, no.
10:51Yeah, blah, blah, blah.
10:53I feel like that sealed your fear because you got a bit more confident.
10:59Yeah, that's the thing.
11:00And also, I was leading everybody to come with me about Jonathan.
11:03Yes.
11:03And I thought, actually, this is very dangerous.
11:05I did warn myself but went ahead anyway.
11:08But I think that's what we wanted from the faithful at that stage of the game, though.
11:12Somebody had to.
11:12We needed you guys to get a traitor.
11:15Yes.
11:16And to lead the charge against Jonathan, I think, was the right thing to do at that moment.
11:19I loved his speech.
11:21Yeah.
11:21I loved his speech but I was quite glad not to have to do that because I don't know how
11:25you put it in words but he was very smart and he was leprechaun green of devil.
11:31Traitor green.
11:32It was traitor green.
11:33Yes, yes, it was.
11:33That's how obvious he was at that point.
11:34He was just basically wearing a cloak to breakfast.
11:37You've been a very popular and very perceptive player, Celia.
11:41I could.
11:42Obviously, the snooping.
11:43We need to talk about the snooping.
11:45Going round telling people that you were snooping.
11:47Was that your game plan going in?
11:48No, not really.
11:49But I just thought, well, that's what you have to do.
11:52You know, and watch very carefully.
11:55You know, people watching it back, you just think, why didn't I see that?
11:59You know, it's ridiculous now but everybody was very good at covering up.
12:06Why did it take the faithful so long to find a traitor?
12:09That's the weird thing.
12:11I mean, the herd thing is a fascinating piece of psychology I found right from the word go
12:18and actually I don't think I ever really went with the crowd.
12:22No, I think you're right.
12:23I think, and a lot of people took that as you were throwing in curveballs or you were
12:28just doing your own thing.
12:29But I think that's what more people needed to do rather than go with the herd.
12:33But I don't know why that suddenly sets in.
12:35It's like a sort of infection.
12:36It's absolutely peculiar.
12:38No, hats off to you for actually standing on business because people just like to kind
12:42of hide in the crowd.
12:44Whereas you actually stood up and you said what you thought.
12:47But it makes you more dangerous.
12:48It does make you more dangerous but you lasted quite a while.
12:50I like being dangerous.
12:52That's our whole point of life, isn't it?
12:54The last thing I wanted to do going in there was any regrets.
12:57If you didn't say something that you truly felt, you might have gone out and regretted
13:01not saying that.
13:02So, glad that you spoke about Kat, you spoke about Alan, you spoke about Jonathan.
13:05You've actually named all three traitors.
13:07Yeah.
13:07So that deserves a round of applause.
13:09Go on then.
13:11No, I'm kidding.
13:12I'm kidding, I'm kidding, I'm kidding.
13:14No, come on.
13:15Now, our next banished player, Kate Garraway, found herself under a great deal of suspicion
13:19throughout her time in the game and those suspicions finally caught up with her at the last round
13:23table.
13:24Here's what happened when I saw her straight after she was banished up in the Highlands.
13:33I'm set free of banished.
13:35How are you?
13:37How are you, more to the point?
13:38Well, fantastic.
13:40Look at your roaring fire.
13:45Welcome to Uncloaked, Kate.
13:47It's lovely to be here with you.
13:50It's also rather sad.
13:51Because it means I'm out of the game and I've become completely obsessed now.
13:55But you lasted a very long time in the game.
13:58Which is staggering, actually, because I genuinely thought I would go out the very first night
14:04and be murdered.
14:04Because what I realised now is that I have no idea how I come across.
14:10I just thought I came across as a really obvious faithful.
14:15Instead, they all thought I was suspicious.
14:18A lot of suspicion coming your way and quite early on in the game as well.
14:20The very first round.
14:22I can see you're excited.
14:24I am.
14:24To find out who the traitors are.
14:26I can't wait.
14:27Well, you have to wait for a little bit longer because I'm going to ask you who you think they
14:30are first.
14:31What about my time on the show makes you think I'll have an answer?
14:36Well, I know you'll have an answer because you know that giving the answer is what allows me to get
14:40this strong.
14:41Oh, my gosh.
14:41It's a give and take.
14:44So, I'm pretty sure that Nick and Kat are faithful.
14:49Okay.
14:50Joe M, I was sure was a faithful, but now I think he might have played me for a fool
14:57because he won over my trust very late on.
14:59I've got question marks about Alan.
15:02Alan, I don't think it's David.
15:05I'm going to go for Joe M and Alan.
15:07I'm just going to do it.
15:09This is the moment now, Kate.
15:11Big moment.
15:12Okay.
15:13We're going to take it name by name.
15:15Name by name.
15:16Name by name.
15:16There's a name of foals.
15:17I'm always too scared.
15:19I've got PTSD for finding these sealed envelopes now that I'm about to be murdered.
15:26Right.
15:29Oh, my God.
15:32Kat.
15:34Wow.
15:35You're definite faithful.
15:36I really thought she was a faithful.
15:43And Alan.
15:45You got one.
15:46I got one.
15:47I got one.
15:49A bit late in the game, but I got one.
15:51I'm amazed at Kat.
15:53But also, interestingly, she never asked me a single question to try and work out.
15:59And of course, she knew I was a faithful, so she didn't need to work it out.
16:03And Alan probably kept on saying, of course you're a faithful, because he also knew I was a faithful.
16:09Well, thank you, Kat and Alan, for keeping me in for so long.
16:14You're the first person to be grateful to the traitors, Kat.
16:16I'm so grateful that you didn't murder me or banish me earlier.
16:20Thank you so much.
16:25Well, Kate Garraway became Kate Gonaway, but now I'm delighted to say she's Kate here today.
16:32Oh, thank you.
16:34Welcome, Kate.
16:36Now you've seen the episodes back.
16:37Yes.
16:38Do you agree with the suggestion that you're a bit of a ham, maybe?
16:42And did you think at any point, maybe I'll tone it down today?
16:45No, there's no chance of any toning down, ever.
16:48No, I think a lot of people see me reading the news, interviewing politicians,
16:53and don't realise that I'm quite over the top and ludicrous most of the time.
16:59I think anybody I've ever worked with knows that, and friends do.
17:03So people always say, oh my God, you're so over the top.
17:05And I should have really said that.
17:07I guess that's something that you can't bring to your job when you're interviewing politicians.
17:11You can't go, oh, you said what in the Houses of Parliament?
17:14Hang on a minute!
17:16You can't be all panto, can you?
17:19But there is definitely that element to my character.
17:21And I suddenly thought, oh my God, I've just realised that people only have a certain perception from TV.
17:27You know what I mean?
17:28Celia, in your expert opinion, was Kate a ham in the castle?
17:32I would never have said that, no, actually.
17:35No, no, I really wouldn't.
17:37I mean, I thought you might have been playing a very, very clever game, because people underestimated you.
17:43Yes.
17:43And that's what was good.
17:45That is good.
17:46But no, I would never have said that.
17:48I'd call myself one, perhaps.
17:50I think a lot of what people have been quoting back to me from you in the castle was, maybe
17:55someone's been recruited.
17:56It's the repetition of maybe somebody's been recruited.
17:58See, do you know what that is?
17:59That's actually stupidity.
18:01So everything is like on a satellite delay in my brain.
18:05So somebody said maybe someone, and I'm going, oh, maybe someone's been recruited.
18:13Because it's just gradually processing.
18:16But yeah, take it out of context.
18:18But it's a wonderful moment.
18:18It's ludicrous.
18:19But looking back, did you think, God, we were so stupid?
18:23You know, really?
18:25How odd is it?
18:25I don't think there's any looking back.
18:27I just felt stupid the entire time.
18:29I felt stupid and disorientated.
18:31And actually, I thought that was a reason why maybe I was being saved.
18:35Because I kind of thought they all, I didn't know who the traitors were, obviously.
18:40So I kind of thought, maybe they just think I'm an utterly stupid, dizzy blonde.
18:44So therefore, no threat, never going to catch them.
18:47And to be fair, I was.
18:49Celia, you were always very forthcoming with your suspicions, as we've said.
18:53But you never once voted for Kate at the round table.
18:56Why weren't you suspicious of her?
18:57No, I didn't, actually.
18:58I didn't think it was.
18:58No, I didn't.
18:59Would you like to have been a traitor?
19:02Were you disappointed that you weren't?
19:04No, I definitely went in being a faithful.
19:07Now, I would have absolutely wanted to be a traitor.
19:09Because I didn't really get properly the role of a faithful.
19:13I feel like paranoia kind of set in for you.
19:15And I feel like you were so desperate to convince people that I am a faithful.
19:19The more you tried to convince people, the more they thought you were a traitor.
19:21Because I think you started round tables by asking, like, who thinks I'm a traitor?
19:26Can you explain to me?
19:27Yes, you did.
19:27I think you got in your own head a bit about it.
19:29How were you on the round table?
19:31Because you are a champ.
19:32I was quite vocal and just said what I feel.
19:35But it is hard because you've got to get the right balance.
19:38Because if you speak too much...
19:39Did anybody really come at you, though?
19:41I can't remember now.
19:42No, not really.
19:43Because to be honest, everything in Breed Raiders is white for me.
19:46I think if you're being attacked and you have to defend yourself, that then makes you...
19:53It's quite a different dialogue, isn't it?
19:55You go into the shell and it's harder, like you say, to kind of get these theories when
19:59people are up and up to you because they suspect you.
20:01They suspect you.
20:02Yeah.
20:02You all seem to get on quite well in there.
20:04So how much did the game bring you together?
20:06I think it's a really special thing.
20:09I mean, one of the reasons I wanted to come in, to be honest, I never thought I was going
20:13to be... I never thought I would survive as long as I did and I never thought I would
20:16be very good at the game.
20:18I just thought, look at that bunch of people and to get the chance to spend time with them
20:24in a way that you just wouldn't in any other bit of life.
20:27We're like a family now, Celia, aren't we?
20:29Well, I never want to see any of them ever again.
20:36Jake, what is it like having celebrities now as part of the Tracers family?
20:40Amazing.
20:41Welcome in.
20:42Well, you are a celebrity.
20:44Well, not like you guys.
20:46I feel like it's been amazing to watch such big stars that I've grown up watching on the
20:51screen.
20:51Oh, bless you.
20:52And to see you really get stuck into the game, I was not worried, but I was a bit
20:57curious to see how a user would attack it.
20:59Yeah.
20:59But you're so immersed in the game and really give it all the missions and the round table.
21:04That first round table, I was blown away at how people were just going after people.
21:08Yeah.
21:09I was shocked, but that's what makes the series so good.
21:12Right from the word go that we were, weren't we?
21:14Because my son was worried too.
21:15He thought we'd all be poncing about not playing.
21:18But we didn't.
21:19We really went straight in.
21:21You did.
21:21I mean, you were suspicious of Nick before the Tracer selection.
21:25Oh, yeah.
21:25Yeah.
21:26Oh, yeah.
21:28Alan has been effortlessly entertaining all series and I think he reached peak Alan tonight
21:32when the final five gathered round and had to declare that they were faithful.
21:37I am a faithful.
21:41Nick.
21:43I am a faithful.
21:49Alan.
21:51Alan.
21:54I am a faithful.
21:57I am.
21:58I am a faithful.
22:00I just get nervous.
22:01Alan.
22:02Sorry, I am a faithful.
22:04No, I'm not having it.
22:05I am.
22:06That is just another confirmation of what I'm thinking already about Alan.
22:11He can't even look us in the eyes and say, I'm a faithful.
22:17Incredible.
22:18Absolutely amazing.
22:19And amazing that someone's finally picked up on it.
22:21And that is a downfall of Alan Carr.
22:22I mean, that is the moment that all, I believe, will get him banished.
22:26Do you think?
22:26I think.
22:27He's played such an amazing game.
22:28He's been so obvious that he's not obvious.
22:30But that, he's just been too far.
22:32Yeah.
22:33But he was quite quiet at the round table if you look back.
22:36Yeah.
22:36Quite cleverly quiet.
22:38And then when...
22:38Especially at the beginning.
22:39Joe Marler actually said to him, he said, I'd like to hear from you.
22:42Exactly.
22:42And he got his back up.
22:43He didn't like that.
22:44Yeah, and that's not like Alan.
22:46No.
22:47He should have just giggled and sweated.
22:50Now, I'm very pleased to say that we've got one final guest to chat to on the show.
22:54She managed to escape the clutches of the Banshee and got all the way to Greece.
22:57Charlotte Church, thank you so much for joining us.
23:00Hello.
23:02Thank you for having me on Unclosed.
23:05So excited that you're joining us from beyond the grave.
23:09We're very close to the finale now.
23:11Have you been watching each episode with the same intensity that you played the game?
23:14Oh, definitely not.
23:16Certainly not with the same intensity.
23:18There was an enormous amount of intensity in the living of it.
23:22But it's much more with sort of joy and relief and intrigue as well.
23:28Because, of course, you know, we don't get to see everything.
23:31So it's fascinating to understand the game with the sort of different contextual bits.
23:38We've got to talk about the Wailing Banshees mission.
23:40I'm sure you guys were all absolutely like won over by how brilliant Charlotte was.
23:45Oh, she was off the scale brilliant.
23:46Was it exciting to see that there was a mission that involved some singing in there?
23:52Yeah.
23:52It was.
23:53Yeah, it was so exciting.
23:54But also just the whole setting of it all.
23:57It was really enchanted in that beautiful garden with wells.
24:00And, you know, so therefore for me, it's like there's quite a lot of mythic folklore and Banshees and sirens.
24:06And so I was so into that game.
24:10But of course, I mean, everyone was branding you MVP of that mission.
24:13But I think Celia nearly stole the show with the Wailing.
24:16What did you make of Celia's vocal talents now that you've seen them?
24:21I mean, I mean, Celia is just Celia, just you, Celia.
24:25You're just such, you're so, I think you're the most mischievous person I've ever come across in my life.
24:31I'm thinking that you and I should do a duet or something like that, don't you think?
24:34Come on.
24:35It would be so good.
24:37The voice of an angel and the voice of a Banshee.
24:41I'd sing the yellow pages with Celia.
24:44Oh, marvellous you are.
24:46Now, you listed Kate as a definite faithful.
24:49Thank you, Charlotte.
24:51The only one.
24:51The only one in the whole show.
24:54And you were actually suspicious of Celia at the very end.
24:57Now, obviously, they're both here with me today.
24:59Have you got anything you'd like to say about those suspicions or otherwise?
25:03Well, I just thought that Celia was just so mischievous and just having such a delightful time.
25:14Certainly, that's how it appeared to me that I just thought that she would hack it easy peasy, no problem.
25:20Well, I was having a wonderful time.
25:22But then you see, please forgive me because I voted for you with Kat.
25:28Yeah, that's okay.
25:29That was one of your votes, Celia, where everyone was very surprised, I think, when everyone else was doing the
25:34herd mentality thing and you just threw in a vote for Charlotte.
25:36And even you were completely taken aback by that, Charlotte, I seem to remember.
25:40Yeah, but also deeply honoured by everything that Celia said and the reasoning that she voted for me as well.
25:46You know, I was sort of like, camping it up and also shocked.
25:51But secretly, really, as soon as I took a moment to think about it, absolutely delighted.
25:56Charlotte, how's the reaction been now that all of your episodes are out there in the world?
26:01Has anything surprised you about the reaction?
26:03It's evident how much people love the show.
26:07And yeah, I think it's just been really nice.
26:10And literally, even when I filmed my GP surgery the other day, all they were talking about was traitors.
26:18So literally, I haven't been able to escape it.
26:21Any sort of interaction that I've had has just been pretty much traitors focused.
26:25Well, congratulations, Charlotte.
26:26You played an amazing game.
26:27And also, massive congratulations on getting through to your GP surgery.
26:32I know.
26:32It took a while.
26:33Charlotte, thank you so much for taking the time to join us.
26:36No worries.
26:37Thank you so much for having me.
26:38It's been wonderful to see you all again.
26:40So lovely.
26:40Lovely to see you.
26:41Thank you so much, Charlotte.
26:42Goodbye.
26:43So we've got our final five players.
26:45Joe, Marla, Kat, Alan, David and Nick.
26:48How finely balanced do you think the game is now?
26:50I think very balanced.
26:52You've got on one side, you've got Joe and Nick that are finally working together.
26:55And they're like the leaders of the Faithfuls.
26:58And then on the traitor side, you've got Kat and Alan that have worked very well.
27:02And I feel like David's right in the middle.
27:04Yeah.
27:04And he can be swayed either way.
27:06And that is how it's going to go.
27:08It's going to go to the left or to the right.
27:10And basically, all the lies on David.
27:12Celia, if you had a chance to go back and play as a traitor, do you think you'd make a
27:16good traitor?
27:16Yes, I do.
27:18Very good.
27:19I agree.
27:20I agree as well.
27:20I agree.
27:21I was a bit disappointed when I didn't get the nudge.
27:26But I'd be very good.
27:27Would you have a game plan going in there as a traitor?
27:30I don't think you can, you see, because everything goes in the air, doesn't it?
27:34Anything that you...
27:35Yeah, I think change is so quickly.
27:37You've got to be very adaptable.
27:38And it depends who's around.
27:40Yeah.
27:40Who you can manipulate.
27:42It's such a clever game.
27:44Really.
27:45If you're a traitor, who do you think you might have murdered first?
27:48Please don't say me.
27:49No, I'd...
27:51I'd murder Alan.
27:52I'm right here.
27:53No, no, no.
27:53I'd murder Alan straight away.
27:55Would you?
27:56Yes, of course.
28:01Well, that's all we've got time for here.
28:03But worry not, because the conversation continues on BBC Sounds.
28:07Kate, Celia and Jake will be hanging around to discuss what it's really like to play the game.
28:11We'll have more analysis of our final five.
28:13And I'll be asking Celia to explain that pussy in the well.
28:16It's all in the bonus episode of the Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked in your BBC Sounds app right now.
28:22Find that in your app store or scan the QR code below.
28:25And if you reckon you've got what it takes to be a traitor or a faithful next series,
28:28head to bbc.co.uk forward slash take part to apply.
28:31We don't make the celebs do it.
28:33They've got people for that.
28:34A huge thank you to Kate, Celia, Jake and Charlotte for joining us.
28:37We'll be back for a very special bumper episode after the finale next Thursday,
28:42where we'll reunite the celebrity cast and I'll be joined by our five finalists.
28:46It's going to be an amazing end.
28:47Plus, I'll finally be able to tell all about my hidden appearance in this series.
28:51Do you think you spotted me?
28:53I'm Ed Gamble.
28:54Stay faithful.
