00:00And we have news coming in from Andhra Pradesh as Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister has made a big remark as
00:06far as Tirupati Devastanam's Prasadham Rao is concerned.
00:10He has said that the Laddu case is maha papam or a huge sin, the biggest sin that could be
00:16committed.
00:17He says it is an organized plot. He has also called the Laddu Rao an organized conspiracy.
00:24Remember, there was reporting of adulteration in the Prasadham and this is exactly what the Chief Minister is referring to.
00:33He is talking about the adulteration of 59.71 lakh kilograms of ghee in the Tirupati Devastanam Prasadham and he
00:42has called it a maha papam.
00:45And joining us now is India Today's Apoorva Jai Chandran.
00:48And Apoorva, this issue has been raging for quite some time but the comment coming in from Chief Minister, do
00:56tell us about it.
00:58Well, in fact, what we are getting to learn is that, you know, the Laddu arbitration case, we've seen several
01:03ups and downs as the investigation has continued on.
01:07But one thing the Chief Minister has time and again been stressing on is the fact that there has been
01:12arbitration that has taken place during the YSRCP regime.
01:16In fact, the Chief Minister is also calling out the YSRCP, questioning how is it that the party leaders or
01:23the party chief of YSRCP himself, in fact, was not aware that arbitration was taking place and this massive level
01:31of arbitration was taking place involving the sentiments of the people.
01:36That's the question that Chief Minister of Andhra Parish, Narasthan Babu Nairu, is going ahead and seeing.
01:41He's saying it's not just a question of one Ladoo, but over thousands and thousands of Ladoos that had been
01:47distributed, you know, in which there was adulteration that had been allegedly found.
01:52And how is it that, you know, nobody from the then YSRCP ruling government had not flagged these, you know,
01:59in a, you know, these kind of miscalculations that are taking place is what the Chief Minister has also demanded.
02:06He's also going ahead and saying there has been a conspiracy at every angle when it came to, you know,
02:12when, how the tenders were procured for the ghee that was being taken up, what were the roots on the
02:18lorries that were procured for the vehicles, how was it that the tenders were finalized of these companies that have
02:24now so far been arrested, including the Bola Jawa dairy as well as the several other dairy.
