00:00:25I thank you so much for the food, Sister Dana, who coordinated the food last week, and I'm doing much,
00:00:39much better today.
00:00:40And I thank Sister Jerry for putting up the pictures and information on black history, people who are impacted to
00:00:52Palm Beach County and our foyer.
00:00:54I hope you, let's give a, that was outstanding.
00:00:58If you haven't seen that, when you leave today, will you please go by and just look at some of
00:01:05the pioneers of the Palm Beach County that had an impact in the black community.
00:01:10Amen.
00:01:12I'm just glad to be here this morning.
00:01:14At this time, we're going to turn it over to our deacons and they're going to lead us in devotion.

00:02:18As we get ready to close out Black History Month, the next time you look in the mirror and the
00:02:25image and come back that you see, what do you see?
00:02:28You see a black person and you see them for the last, how many years that you are, that's how
00:02:34many years you've seen that person that looks back in the mirror at you.
00:02:39So Black History Month is not a month.
00:02:41It's every day that the Lord allows you to see another day, a day you've never seen, a day you
00:02:48never see again.
00:02:49And that's why Black History is not only a month of the year, it's every day that the Lord has
00:02:57allowed you and I to see and enjoy another beautiful day.
00:03:01That's why we sang this morning with uplifting voices, that old familiar Negro spiritual.

00:43:38that's for being who he is, we're being in the house of the Lord, it is awesome to be in
00:43:46God's house this morning.
00:43:49There's some folk who are snowed in, some that are having some severe weather, we can open our doors to
00:44:0080 degrees, we got a reason to praise the Lord.
00:44:06This morning, you have your Bible, turn with me to Luke chapter 10.
00:44:15Luke chapter 10, and meet me at verse 25.

00:44:31Find it, stand with me.
00:44:33And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested him, saying, teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
00:44:48And he said to him, what is written in the law?
00:44:53What is your reading of it?
00:44:56And he answered and said, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul,
00:45:04with all your strength, and with all your mind.
00:45:08And your neighbor, and your neighbor, as I said.
00:45:12And he said to him, you have answered rightly.
00:45:16Do this, and you shall live.
00:45:19Listen to what the lawyer said.
00:45:21But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, who is my neighbor?
00:45:29And Jesus answered and said, a certain man went down to Jerusalem, to Jericho, and fell among thieves,
00:45:38stripped him of his clothes, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
00:45:44Now, by chance, a certain priest came down that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the
00:45:51other side.
00:45:53Likewise, when he arrived at the place, came, and looked, and passed by on the other side.
00:46:01But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion.
00:46:08So he went to him, and bandaged his wounds, pouring oil and wine, and he set him on his own
00:46:15animal,
00:46:17brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
00:46:21On the next day, when he departed, he took two Gennettos and gave them to the innkeeper,
00:46:26and said to him, take care of him.
00:46:28And whatever more you send when I come again, I repeat.
00:46:34So which of these three?
00:46:36Listen to these words in verse 36.
00:46:38I'm going to come back to you.
00:46:40So which of these three do you think was the neighbor of him who fell among the thieves?
00:46:50Listen to what the man said, the lawyer.
00:46:52He said, he showed mercy on him.
00:46:56And Jesus said to him, go and do what?
00:47:00Like the wine.
00:47:01You might be seated.
00:47:04Now, this is Black History Week.
00:47:07I'm going to try to throw in a little something-something for black history.
00:47:12It might make you feel uncomfortable, but every now and then, you ought to feel a little bit uncomfortable
00:47:17when you come to church.
00:47:18Amen?
00:47:22Good morning, I want to talk about phony faith.
00:47:26It's time to get real.
00:47:31Phony faith.
00:47:36Black history is our history.
00:47:40And I believe, to me, only because I guess I'm black, you got a rich history.
00:47:48Anybody know what I'm talking about?
00:47:50And I think it's a history that we ought to be proud of, especially when you consider how far we
00:47:58come from
00:47:58and the obstacles that we had to overcome.
00:48:04You know, when I was at home last week and I was not able to come and y'all sung
00:48:11Lift Every Voice and Dream,
00:48:13man, that Tony was singing that song.
00:48:15I don't know if y'all heard.
00:48:17Just like she was singing, that Tony can sing.
00:48:19Let me tell you.
00:48:22Tony sing that song.
00:48:24But there was a piece of that Lift Every Voice that just took me by it.
00:48:29The fourth of that song says,
00:48:33We have come over a way with tears that have been watered.
00:48:39We have come spreading the path through the blood of the star.
00:48:44Out of the gloomy past, and now we stand at land where the white gleams of our bright stars.
00:48:53We've come through through stuff.
00:48:56Now, somebody sitting here this morning or listening to me online feel like we have arrived.
00:49:03Now, I know we've come our own way.
00:49:06I tried to say Wednesday night, Bible study.
00:49:11Not everyone is happy with us sitting at the table and telling us.
00:49:19But if some had their way, they'd have stripped us of our power to make America look great.
00:49:26Don't get mad.
00:49:28But I know we got some smart people in this church,
00:49:30and I know you realize there's a reason that we were not taught black history in school.
00:49:36Why, Pastor?
00:49:37One of the reasons is if you can keep a people from knowing where they come from,
00:49:41it's hard to determine where you're going.
00:49:44Y'all are in this morning.
00:49:46So let me take it to the Bible this morning and make it clear.
00:49:52God made all people in his own image.
00:49:57Y'all with me?
00:49:59But what puzzles me is how can Christian folk say they love God
00:50:07but can not only not tolerate what's happening in our country,
00:50:11with our immigrant brothers,
00:50:13but we celebrate and support those in office who are pushing hate against our brothers and sisters.
00:50:20I could let them just text with much prayer for a reason
00:50:23because it helps us understand how some people who say they love God,
00:50:29but they're actually going to line up with what they say.
00:50:35I'm going to let you on the secret that I discovered.
00:50:39You might have discovered it too, but this is a secret I want you to know.
00:50:43Not everybody that comes to church is a Christian.
00:50:47Everybody who professes they love belongs to the Lord is not a Christian.
00:50:52To become a Christian, men and women must be willing to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.
00:51:01That's why I selected this text.
00:51:04So in the text this morning, Jesus is confronted by a lawyer who's an expert in Mosaic law.
00:51:13He knows Genesis to Deuteronomy like front and back.
00:51:20The Mosaic law considers of what they call the Torah or the Pentateuch,
00:51:25which is the first five books of the Bible, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
00:51:32He knows that law like nobody's business.
00:51:36He's an expert.
00:51:37And he approaches Jesus with a pointed question,
00:51:41not to get a greater understanding of how to live right,
00:51:46but see if he could test Jesus and see if he could get Jesus to slip just one time.
00:51:50He says to Jesus,
00:51:52Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
00:52:01I want to introduce you to the teacher of Jesus who really want to show us how to live right
00:52:08while exposing those who say they belong to Christ,
00:52:13but live in the very opposite.
00:52:16I call them phony faith.
00:52:18Even Jesus said in Matthew chapter 7, verses 21 through 23,
00:52:26he said,
00:52:26Not everyone who say to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven,
00:52:34but he who does the will of my Father.
00:52:38For many will say to me in that day,
00:52:42Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name?
00:52:46Have we had cast demons in your name?
00:52:48And done many wonders in your name?
00:52:51Then I will declare to them,
00:52:53I never knew you depart from me.
00:52:56You practice knowledge.
00:52:58Carrying the Bible,
00:53:00or wearing a cross around your neck,
00:53:03don't mean you a Christian.
00:53:06According to Jesus,
00:53:07it's those who do the will of the Father.
00:53:10So we got to be careful if we're going to get attached to this Christ,
00:53:15to this church,
00:53:16to the Bible,
00:53:17that we want to walk the way God wants us to walk,
00:53:19so it's time to get real.
00:53:23I have about three points that I say.
00:53:27First, I want to look,
00:53:28I want to take three snapshots
00:53:31of what happened in this text.
00:53:34I see three different scenes in this text.
00:53:37We see one scene where there's the priest and the Levite.
00:53:42We see another scene where there is the Samaritan.
00:53:46And the third scene we see,
00:53:48and I'm bringing,
00:53:48he was at the beginning of the end,
00:53:50one with the lawyer.
00:53:51The first one I want to call,
00:53:53my first topic is,
00:53:54the religious.
00:53:57The text tells us in the parable,
00:54:00when Jesus asked,
00:54:02was asked who was my neighbor from the lawyer,
00:54:06who was an expert in both Zeg law,
00:54:10Jesus answered and says,
00:54:12he says,
00:54:13now who is my neighbor?
00:54:15Jesus took this man down a road,
00:54:19a whiny, crooked road,
00:54:22a dangerous road between Jerusalem and Jericho,
00:54:28where a certain man who went down to Jerusalem,
00:54:33to Jericho,
00:54:35and he fell among robbers,
00:54:38who stripped him of his clothes,
00:54:40beat him,
00:54:41departed him,
00:54:42and left him on the street,
00:54:45have been.
00:54:47Here's the religious part.
00:54:51The priest came by,
00:54:54dressed in his royal robe.
00:54:57He saw the man wounded on the road,
00:55:03but he said,
00:55:04he looked at him,
00:55:05and he said,
00:55:06he walked by on the other side.
00:55:10That's the priest.
00:55:11The Bible said,
00:55:13a Levite came behind him,
00:55:17looked at the wounded man on the road,
00:55:20saw him,
00:55:21and he walked by
00:55:25on the other side.
00:55:28Jesus was telling the story.
00:55:32Yet the whole system of religion
00:55:34had lost its heart for God.
00:55:37They lost their passion for the people of God.
00:55:40These two men,
00:55:41the priest and the Levite,
00:55:44represent the best that religion can offer.
00:55:47The priest was a spiritual leader.
00:55:50He was a temple representative.
00:55:52He was a mediator between God and man.
00:55:55The Levite was the temple assistant.
00:55:59He was the teacher of the law.
00:56:01He was a religious worker.
00:56:03The both of them represented
00:56:05the most spiritual respected people
00:56:08in all of the Jewish society.
00:56:13Let's bring it.
00:56:14Let me bring it to the day.
00:56:17The priest and the Levite
00:56:20represent those Christians
00:56:21who say they belong to Christ.
00:56:23They come to church.
00:56:25They say the right thing.
00:56:27They give and they serve.
00:56:31And their belief is
00:56:33if anybody's going to heaven,
00:56:37it's going to be,
00:56:38y'all with me now?
00:56:39Follow me now.
00:56:40Y'all follow me.
00:56:41I'm going somewhere with this.
00:56:43Both help us understand God's rules.
00:56:47Organized religion can't save us.
00:56:51You can be religious and not righteous.
00:56:54Anybody know what I'm talking about?
00:56:56Let me say that one more time.
00:56:57You can be religious.
00:57:01Religion,
00:57:02religious folks say
00:57:03when they see folk coming to church
00:57:05for the first time,
00:57:06her dress too short.
00:57:07Religion folks say,
00:57:09he got a hat on.
00:57:09He know y'all not have that hat on in church.
00:57:11That's what religious folks say.
00:57:13But you can be religious
00:57:15with rules and regulations
00:57:17and not righteous at all.
00:57:21I call that phony faith.
00:57:25Thinking that you're deceiving somebody
00:57:27when people know you're not real.
00:57:30This is Black History Month.
00:57:31Let's bring the Black History part of it.
00:57:33One of the things that really makes me think
00:57:37about Christian folks
00:57:39when it comes to praising God,
00:57:41man,
00:57:42they can praise God in church
00:57:44like nobody's business.
00:57:46Holy in church.
00:57:48When they step outside,
00:57:51they might even express some hatred in their heart.
00:57:55Now,
00:57:55the reason I say that
00:57:56is because don't discount
00:57:58how immigrants are being treated
00:58:01right now in our country.
00:58:03Because if you look a hundred years ago,
00:58:05that was,
00:58:06y'all with me now?
00:58:07Walk with me now.
00:58:09It doesn't surprise me
00:58:11when those who don't know Jesus
00:58:14treat people injustice.
00:58:17But it hurts me
00:58:18when I see somebody
00:58:19who say they love Christ,
00:58:22but they ought to more
00:58:23than have more than sympathy
00:58:25for people.
00:58:27Because the Bible is clear
00:58:28if one member
00:58:29heard all order.
00:58:32Y'all with me this morning?
00:58:33The priest and the Levite
00:58:35are examples
00:58:36of how phony faith
00:58:38shows up in the church.
00:58:40If you look closely
00:58:41at the text,
00:58:43you'll see that
00:58:43someone goes through
00:58:45the motions
00:58:45and the language
00:58:46of being a Christian
00:58:48and not being affiliated
00:58:50with the life
00:58:51and the love
00:58:52of Christ.
00:58:53Personally,
00:58:53I believe
00:58:54those who have faith
00:58:56in God
00:58:56and find themselves
00:58:58on the road
00:58:59between Jerusalem
00:59:00and Jericho
00:59:01know it's not enough
00:59:03just to bandage up
00:59:04the man's womb,
00:59:06but to realize
00:59:07it's more important
00:59:09to change
00:59:09the condition
00:59:10that made
00:59:11the robbery
00:59:12possible.
00:59:13What are you talking
00:59:14about, Pat?
00:59:16Those who don't know,
00:59:18the road
00:59:18to Jerusalem
00:59:20was 17 miles
00:59:22long.
00:59:24It was a dangerous
00:59:26road because
00:59:27it was,
00:59:29the road
00:59:29was crooked.
00:59:31It had a lot
00:59:32of turns
00:59:32and those crooked
00:59:35turns made
00:59:35the road
00:59:36dangerous.
00:59:38You must understand
00:59:39phony faith
00:59:40would show up
00:59:41and need to be aware
00:59:43of its appearance.
00:59:44See,
00:59:46the man being robbed
00:59:47on the road
00:59:49didn't happen
00:59:50because he wasn't wise.
00:59:52He knew the road
00:59:53was dangerous,
00:59:54but
00:59:56the criminals
00:59:57find themselves
00:59:59hiding
01:00:00in the area
01:00:01where the road
01:00:02is crooked.
01:00:04walk with me
01:00:05now, church.
01:00:06And it didn't
01:00:07happen
01:00:07to this man
01:00:09that he found
01:00:10himself wounded
01:00:11on the road
01:00:12because he wasn't
01:00:13intelligent,
01:00:14but it happened
01:00:15because the road
01:00:16was crooked.
01:00:19God,
01:00:19walk with me, church.
01:00:20Everything that
01:00:21happens to someone
01:00:22is not because
01:00:24they're lazy
01:00:25or immoral
01:00:26or because
01:00:27they don't do
01:00:27things like you
01:00:28want them to do.
01:00:30It's because
01:00:30the road
01:00:31is crooked.
01:00:34and so
01:00:36I look at
01:00:36if we're
01:00:40going
01:00:40to help
01:00:41our family
01:00:42and our friends,
01:00:44we gotta be
01:00:45concerned about
01:00:47how to change
01:00:48the system
01:00:49that is crooked.
01:00:52Let me give you
01:00:53an example
01:00:54from y'all
01:00:54looking at me quiet,
01:00:55but it's alright.
01:00:56Everybody
01:00:57that is
01:00:58affiliated
01:00:59with Jeffrey
01:01:00Epstein
01:01:01in getting
01:01:02arrested
01:01:03or they're
01:01:04losing their job.
01:01:05But the
01:01:05president of the
01:01:06United States,
01:01:07who is one of
01:01:08Epstein's best friends,
01:01:10is going
01:01:10untouched
01:01:11because the
01:01:12system is
01:01:13crooked.
01:01:15Young black
01:01:16men,
01:01:16they're staying
01:01:18in prison
01:01:18for doing
01:01:19the same thing
01:01:20that white
01:01:20men are doing,
01:01:22but the white
01:01:23dude is out
01:01:24of jail
01:01:24and the
01:01:25blacks are
01:01:26overpopulated
01:01:27in the jail
01:01:27because the
01:01:28system is.
01:01:30Y'all don't
01:01:31hear me this
01:01:31morning.
01:01:32We just
01:01:33got out
01:01:33of the
01:01:34NFL
01:01:34football
01:01:35seat.
01:01:36There are
01:01:38828
01:01:39active
01:01:40players
01:01:41in the
01:01:42NFL.
01:01:43450
01:01:44of them
01:01:45are black.
01:01:4750%

01:01:49NFL
01:01:50players
01:01:50are black,
01:01:51but they
01:01:52only have
01:01:52three
01:01:53black
01:01:54coaches
01:01:54out of

01:01:56because

01:01:57system
01:01:57is.

01:02:02faith

01:02:06man,
01:02:07but never
01:02:08acknowledge
01:02:09that the

01:02:10is crooked.

01:02:14priest
01:02:14and the
01:02:16Levites
01:02:16are part
01:02:18of the
01:02:18religious
01:02:19system.
01:02:20And
01:02:20their
01:02:21phony
01:02:21faith
01:02:22is because
01:02:22the
01:02:23road
01:02:23and the
01:02:25system
01:02:25is crooked.
01:02:28Number one,
01:02:29we looked
01:02:29at the
01:02:30religion.
01:02:31Second,
01:02:32I want
01:02:32to look
01:02:33at the
01:02:33relational,
01:02:34the relational,
01:02:36the good
01:02:37Samaritan,
01:02:38the Texas,
01:02:40I got happy
01:02:41up here.
01:02:41Hallelujah.
01:02:43The priest
01:02:43and the
01:02:45Levite
01:02:45saw the
01:02:47wounded
01:02:47man on
01:02:49the side
01:02:49side of
01:02:50the road,
01:02:51but they
01:02:52passed by
01:02:53on the
01:02:53other side
01:02:55where the
01:02:56Samaritan
01:02:57saw him
01:02:59bandaged
01:03:00up his
01:03:01wound,
01:03:02pouring
01:03:03oil and
01:03:03wine,
01:03:05set him
01:03:05on his
01:03:06own
01:03:06animal,
01:03:08brought
01:03:08him to
01:03:09the inn
01:03:10and took
01:03:11care of

01:03:12He paid
01:03:13the innkeeper
01:03:14and said,

01:03:16you anything,
01:03:17when I
01:03:18come back,
01:03:20I'll pay.
01:03:21Now,

01:03:36the Jews
01:03:36and Samaritan.
01:03:38That was a
01:03:38conflict after
01:03:40the Syrian
01:03:41conquest of
01:03:43Israel in
01:03:451722
01:03:47BC.
01:03:48When the
01:03:49northern
01:03:49kingdom
01:03:50fell,
01:03:51many
01:03:51Israelites
01:03:52were
01:03:53deported
01:03:53and foreign
01:03:56people were
01:03:57mixed together
01:03:58and they
01:03:59began to
01:04:00intermarriage
01:04:01with one
01:04:01another.
01:04:03So this
01:04:03intermarriage
01:04:04group became
01:04:05named
01:04:07the Samaritans.
01:04:09And they
01:04:10became,
01:04:11they were
01:04:11no longer
01:04:12considered
01:04:13religious
01:04:15pure.
01:04:16They were
01:04:17mixed and
01:04:18considered
01:04:19half-breed.
01:04:21All right?
01:04:22Y'all with
01:04:22me so far?
01:04:23In the
01:04:24text,
01:04:26in many
01:04:27cases,
01:04:28a Jewish
01:04:29person would
01:04:30die before
01:04:31he even let
01:04:32a Samaritan
01:04:34touch him.
01:04:35Let's long
01:04:36be in his
01:04:37presence.
01:04:38He would
01:04:38never have
01:04:39a Samaritan,
01:04:41a Jewish
01:04:42man would
01:04:42never have
01:04:43a Samaritan
01:04:46nowhere near
01:04:47him,
01:04:47touch him,
01:04:49be in his
01:04:49presence.
01:04:51They had the
01:04:52relationship like
01:04:53the Hatfields
01:04:55and the
01:04:55McCart.
01:04:57But in the
01:04:59text,
01:05:00the man
01:05:01laying on the
01:05:01ground that
01:05:02is wounded,
01:05:04who's desperate,
01:05:05he's Jewish.

01:05:10and bandaged

01:05:12he's Samaritan.

01:05:45the face.

01:05:49some folk
01:05:50believe that
01:05:51they are
01:05:52superior to,
01:05:53y'all don't

01:05:56said we're

01:06:01The Samaritan
01:06:03is relational
01:06:05because he
01:06:07captures what

01:06:13between practicing

01:06:18Samaritan,
01:06:20he didn't have
01:06:20no committee
01:06:21to report to
01:06:22like the
01:06:22Levites.
01:06:24The Good
01:06:26Samaritan
01:06:27held to the
01:06:28teachings of
01:06:28Christ.
01:06:29What did the
01:06:30teachings of
01:06:30Christ say?
01:06:31Love your
01:06:32neighbor as
01:06:35yourself.
01:06:36And Mark
01:06:3712, but he
01:06:38also held to
01:06:39the teaching of
01:06:41the Sermon on
01:06:42the Mount,

01:06:44when it says,
01:06:45and it's hard to
01:06:46do, say to
01:06:47you, love your
01:06:48enemy.
01:06:49Bless those who

01:06:59developed a

01:07:18next and final
01:07:18point, there
01:07:20was something
01:07:20that Dr.
01:07:21King said in
01:07:22his book,
01:07:23Strength to
01:07:23Love, concerning
01:07:25this text right
01:07:26here.
01:07:27He said, I
01:07:29believe that the
01:07:29priests,
01:07:30and the
01:07:31Levite were
01:07:33afraid to
01:07:33stop because
01:07:35they felt like
01:07:36if they
01:07:37stopped, they
01:07:38might get
01:07:38beaten too.
01:07:40So the
01:07:41priest and
01:07:42the Levite
01:07:43thought like
01:07:44this, if I
01:07:45stop to help
01:07:46this man, what
01:07:48will happen to
01:07:49me?
01:07:50But the
01:07:51Samaritan, who
01:07:53has a
01:07:53relational
01:07:56religion, he
01:07:57believes to have
01:07:59compassion, he
01:07:59says, if I do
01:08:01not stop and
01:08:02help this man,
01:08:04what will
01:08:04happen to
01:08:06him?
01:08:07Are y'all
01:08:07with me this
01:08:08moment?
01:08:09That's the
01:08:09kind of
01:08:10relationship Jesus
01:08:11had at
01:08:12Calvary.
01:08:13He didn't
01:08:14think of
01:08:14himself, he
01:08:15thought about
01:08:16you and I.
01:08:18And so, can't
01:08:20you see, as I
01:08:21move to my last
01:08:22point, a part of
01:08:24Christ in the
01:08:24Samaritan, helping
01:08:26those who can't
01:08:27help them
01:08:28stop, picking
01:08:29up people who
01:08:31are down and
01:08:32placing them on
01:08:33a solid, y'all
01:08:35don't hear me this
01:08:36morning, foundation.
01:08:38So second point
01:08:39there was a
01:08:40relationship.
01:08:41And so my
01:08:42final point,
01:08:44there's the
01:08:45self-righteous.
01:08:47Uh-oh, what
01:08:47happened there,
01:08:48Paul?
01:08:49Let's look up,
01:08:50let's focus on
01:08:51the lawyer.
01:08:52The lawyer, who
01:08:53was an expert,
01:08:54again, in the
01:08:55Mosaic law, one
01:08:57who approached
01:08:57Jesus, and he
01:08:59asked the teacher,
01:09:00what shall I do
01:09:01to inherit
01:09:03eternal life?
01:09:04Isn't that what
01:09:05he said?
01:09:06Let me say this
01:09:08one more time.
01:09:09He said, I want
01:09:10the Christians who
01:09:11know the Bible, I
01:09:12want you to think
01:09:12with me.
01:09:13He said to
01:09:14Jesus, what
01:09:15shall I do
01:09:17to inherit
01:09:19eternal life?
01:09:22He didn't say it
01:09:23because he wanted
01:09:24to understand it.
01:09:25He said it
01:09:25because he wanted
01:09:26to test you,
01:09:27he wanted to
01:09:27trap Jesus.
01:09:28I call that
01:09:29phony thing.
01:09:31But Jesus
01:09:32said to him,
01:09:32what does the
01:09:33law say?
01:09:35He said, the
01:09:35law says, you
01:09:37shall love your
01:09:39God with all
01:09:40your heart, with
01:09:40all your soul,
01:09:41with all your
01:09:42strength and all
01:09:42your mind, and
01:09:44love your neighbor
01:09:46as yourself.
01:09:48I could stay
01:09:49there, but I
01:09:49ain't going to go
01:09:50there.
01:09:50I want to deal
01:09:51with this in
01:09:52character.
01:09:53So Jesus
01:09:54confirmed, you
01:09:55right, you
01:09:56right.
01:09:57I want to
01:09:58move forward.
01:10:00So the
01:10:01good Samaritan,
01:10:03when the
01:10:04lawyer thought
01:10:06about a
01:10:07good Samaritan,
01:10:09he could
01:10:10never see a
01:10:11Samaritan as
01:10:12being good.
01:10:15Are y'all

01:10:17He could
01:10:17never see the
01:10:18Samaritan because
01:10:20phony faith are
01:10:22people who
01:10:23can't see the
01:10:23good in
01:10:25anybody.

01:10:31look at people
01:10:32and cannot or
01:10:34will not give
01:10:35them the
01:10:36respect that

01:10:43faith will not
01:10:45acknowledge all

01:23:40these glasses
01:23:40start fogging
01:23:41up.
01:23:42I'm like,
01:23:45I'm just
01:23:46amazed that
01:23:47God is able
01:23:48to help me
01:23:49see through
01:23:49these foggy
01:23:50glasses.
01:23:52I pray
01:23:53this week
01:23:53that you
01:23:54keep one
01:23:54another in
01:23:55prayer.

01:24:28money but
01:24:29maybe for your
01:24:29attendance at a
01:24:30meeting down
01:24:30the line.
01:24:31Father God,
