00:00The United States women's team in hockey won the gold in dramatic fashion and now today
00:04we get to see the U.S. men's team face off against Slovakia in the semi-finals as they
00:12try to get into the gold medal match. In a time where you're kind of like post football
00:19and it's in that NBA break, NHL break, and there's not a ton going on sports-wise, this
00:27is like the perfect opportunity to capitalize on the drama. The U.S. women were able to
00:31do it yesterday. I'm really looking forward to the men's game today and hoping that they
00:35get the win, cruise through, and play Canada in the finals like we've all wanted and really
00:39put forth a great game because that would be awesome. We've all wanted to see USA Canada
00:45men's hockey. Now we can hopefully with wins today by both teams we can see it, but I mean
00:51I won't be mad if Canada loses somehow today to Finland. I don't think they will. No, probably
00:55not. That Canadian team is a wagon, as we like to say in sports. But then again, I
01:01didn't think they were going to, everybody thought they were going to blow out Chechia
01:04and Chechia and David Pasternak almost beat them, almost upset them. Yeah. No, I can't
01:09wait. And Sunday morning, I will be up bright and early, 8 a.m., ready for the face-off.
01:15So puck drop and face-off 8 a.m. Sunday should they both get there. Have a nice bagel, maybe

03:39U S women dominate the Olympics, I would like to just take a second while we focus on our
03:46nation's problems and God knows we have them. The manner in which this country got women playing
03:54sports far ahead of the rest of the world is being seen Olympic Olympiad after Olympiad,
04:02where if the women in the 2024 Paris Olympics were their own nation, if the American women were
04:09their own nation, they would have had the third best showing in metal count in the entire world.
04:14Really? Yes. So I even noticed this fun thing. I lived in England a couple of years. The, the,
04:22the, the amount of women that actually played sports, it was non-existent. And this is 97,
04:2998, 99. Like, so I would just like to say that we screw everything up. It's a bad place at
04:34times,
04:35but it is really cool to see how this country has been ahead of the curve in, uh, with women's
04:41playing sports. And then you have the performance yesterday, watching that goal and over time,
04:47just spectacular. Like I, I, I didn't know if I was going to be into the Olympics or not,
04:51but I have to say like this year, the, the, the hockey, I can't wait for today with the USA
04:56men.
04:56And it's pretty cool to see how great our women have been performing on the biggest stage.
