00:06It's Wednesday. I know some of you are recovering from all the festivities
00:11and managing your carnival to Banca.
00:14But sit back and relax because it's time for your weather.
00:17Let's begin with what happened today.
00:19Isolated heavy showers affected parts of the Northern Range and nearby areas as well.
00:25Meanwhile, an isolated thunderstorm developed over portions of the Southern Peninsula
00:31and drifted southwestward into the Columbus Channel.
00:35Locally gusty winds and isolated bursts of heavy to intense rainfall
00:39impacted areas near Santa Flora, Palo Seco and Irene.
00:44For tonight, expect fair and hazy night with some breeze
00:48with temperatures at 24 degrees in both islands.
00:52And those same conditions will continue tomorrow
00:55with intermittent showers expected in the morning.
00:58Maximum temperatures will come in at 31 degrees in Trinidad
01:02and 30 degrees in Tobago.
01:04Looking ahead at our two-day forecast now, according to the Met Office,
01:08Friday will give us fair skies that will become party cloudy and breezy at times
01:13with some isolated showers from morning to early afternoon
01:17with temperatures expected at 31 degrees in Trinidad
01:20and 30 degrees in Tobago.
01:22And Saturday will be the same, but with mostly fair and hazy skies with brief showers.
01:28Maximum temperatures will come in at 32 degrees in Trinidad and 30 degrees in Tobago.
01:34Now to our sun times in Trinidad.
01:36Sunrises at 624 and 622 in Tobago.
01:40And the sun will set at 614 in Trinidad and 610 in Tobago.
01:45I know most of you went to the beach today for carnival cool down,
01:49but for the ones that couldn't make it and heading there tomorrow,
01:53seas will be moderate with waves 1.5 meters to 2 meters in open waters
01:57and up to 1 meter in sheltered areas.
