00:00Leading off with Jeremy Sohan signing a free agent deal with the New York Knicks, according to Sham Sharania.
00:08And if you haven't seen it, folks, go to Jeremy Sohan's X page.
00:12It's actually one of the funniest ways to announce a player has been signed to a team.
00:16I will not try and replicate it because I may get fired for how bad the kid's singing is.
00:21But I guess it's some kind of viral sensation.
00:24Anyway, not important.
00:25What's more important is the fit.
00:28If you look at Leon Rose, he won Sohan and Alvarado.
00:35He only had Yabusele.
00:37He smartly traded Yabusele for Terry, Terry for Alvarado, and then with the money coming off the cap, was able
00:43to go sign Jeremy Sohan.
00:45A guy that brings toughness, rebounding, and intensity, and a guy that the New York fans like Alvarado can rally
00:52around.
00:53So you look at the Knicks starting lineup with Hart, with Brunson, with Bridges, with OG, with Cat, and that
01:00second group with Mitchell Robinson, with Alvarado, with Sohan, with Larry Shaman, and Deuce McBride.
01:07The Knicks may be the deepest team in the Eastern Conference as they make their first run for a championship
01:13since 1973.
01:15Let's head to a team on the opposite side, and that's the Washington Wizards.
01:18Alex Saar is to stay in the right hamstring strain and is approximately two weeks.
01:23He's having a good year getting 17, 7, and 2.
01:28And to me, folks, it's two weeks.
01:32It might as well be two months.
01:34They've already traded for Trey Young.
01:35They've shut him down.
01:36They've traded for Anthony Davis.
01:38They shut him down.
01:39They want to protect that top eight pick that they have because obviously if it's nine or worse, it's going
01:46to go to New York.
01:47So I would be stunned if you see Alex Saar at any point the rest of the year.
01:52And Alex Saar that actually had a good sophomore year, and for them, this Washington team, I'm going to say
01:58it, if they're healthy, becomes a very intriguing team with Bud Carrington, with Saar, with A.D., with George, with
02:09Trey Johnson.
02:10They're going to be a good little team to watch.
02:12Let's make sure you watch out for the Wizards for the 26-27 season.
02:16Speaking of the 26-27 season, the UBIC Dummy Award goes to Cam Thomas.
02:21A Cam Thomas that could have signed a great deal last year, before the season, I wanted $30 million a
02:27year.
02:28Well, guess what?
02:29He got cut.
02:30And guess what he's doing?
02:32He's in Milwaukee getting buckets for Milwaukee.
02:37Do I care?
02:38He could score a whole hell of a lot.
02:41But until this guy gets himself in better shape and plays better defense and starts arguing with people on social
02:46media, he may come after me with this.
02:48He's got to lock in.
02:50He's got so much talent.
02:51Yes, he will help Milwaukee, but it doesn't matter.
02:54That team is going absolutely nowhere.
02:58Lastly, LeBron James missing his 18th game right before the All-Star, or will miss 18th game Tuesday night, meaning
03:03he's no longer eligible for NBA awards this season.
03:06He will break his 21-year streak.
03:08Obviously, that is a record.
03:10But for LeBron, we don't care about that.
03:13He doesn't care about that.
03:14It's about the playoffs.
03:16So –
