00:00As you know, the World Cup is also coming to America this summer,
00:04and June is right around the corner.
00:06That is the summer, after all.
00:09Well, if there's a Game 6, and if Minnesota comes back and wins,
00:15and you can't rule it out, there is a chance that,
00:19and this one kind of makes me a little bit happy,
00:22that have the picture ready, guys,
00:24that this might be what it looks like outside the arena for Game 6.
00:29Now, nothing would make me happier if the Knicks did make the Finals,
00:33which you won't if this was to happen.
00:35But if you see right here, Penn Station is supposed to be closed
00:40the day of what would be Game 6 of the Finals, possibly,
00:44from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
00:47Now, if Penn Station's closed, and that's because they want to take people,
00:51they don't have to wait to get to the World Cup game,
00:53I think it would be a Senegal game.
00:56Now, I'm just going to say it again.
00:59The Knicks aren't making the Finals, okay?
01:01And if they do, they're not making it to a Game 6 against anybody.
01:05We've talked about this.
01:07I don't like y'all, and you're not that good.
01:09But could you imagine what would happen if this scenario went through
01:15and the Knicks made the Finals?
01:17It's now Game 6, which means it's now been a gratifying series for all the
01:23horrible New Yorkers out there in the world.
01:25It's 3-2, either Knicks up or 3-2 down, okay?
01:29Horrible Knicks fans.
01:30And now you guys, all the fans basically from the state of New Jersey,
01:35couldn't get into the city because Penn Station's closed for Senegal.
01:42First of all, Senegal is in Africa.
01:45So I don't even want to get into some of the new racial slurs we'd hear, okay?
01:49I'd have to cover my ears.
01:51Oh, my God, the things that might be said.
01:53But how do you fix this, and how do you even allow this to happen?
01:57Now, I recognize, for example, the price that I think it went from $150 down to $98
02:04because they got sponsored, that was signed by a governor eight years ago,
02:09that particular deal.
02:10So I recognize that they were thinking eight years ago,
02:13the Knicks will never make the Finals again.
02:14But now, unfortunately for me and most of society outside of New York,
02:20the Knicks are viable again.
02:21How did they let it get this far to where this could literally happen
02:27to where the thousands of fans that want to come into the city?
02:31And think about it.
02:32What if that Game 6 is Knicks up 3-2 in its elimination game?
02:36And everybody wants to be outside the garden to wait for them to win a championship
02:41and get ready for the parade?
02:43I'm telling you, it would be pandemonium.
02:46And Penn Station's closed.
02:47So this is what I want to do.
02:49I'm a big believer in helping people.
02:51I know people don't know this about me.
02:53You don't know me that well.
02:53You know Craig better than me.
02:55But I'm a person who likes to help people, okay?
02:57It's very important that you give back, okay?
03:01This is what I want to say to the governor, to the mayor, to the owner of the Knicks,
03:07because I want to help everybody out there, okay?
03:10I want to help the people.
03:11This is who I am.
03:12This is what I believe in.
03:15I want to do it.
03:16Um, yeah.
03:21Don't open it.
03:24Leave it closed.
03:25Let the crazy stuff happen, okay?
03:28Leave it open.
03:29And not because it'll help New Yorkers, because it'll help everybody else, okay?
03:34Think about how happy you'll be if you don't like the Knicks.
03:37If Knicks fans can't get into the city to watch the game.
03:40It'll be hilarious.
03:41Everybody will love it.
03:42Don't you agree, Ethan, downstairs as a Knicks fan, wouldn't it be great that lives in New Jersey
03:47if you couldn't get into the city for the party?
03:49That would be awesome.
03:50I say people got to take ferries, okay?
03:53Take a boat if you want to get over there.
03:55Leave Penn Station closed and respect the World Cup.
03:59I have to be honest with you, okay, as a sportsman.
04:01Okay, I'm a sportsman to my heart, okay?
04:03To my bone marrow.
04:05World Cup soccer greater than Knicks basketball.
04:09You have to look at the greater good.
04:11World Cup soccer greater than Knicks basketball.
04:14Now, if you had a civilized team, okay, playing in the finals, like the Pistons or the Cavaliers
04:20or one of these other teams that are with civilized fans that know how to act,
04:25then by all means, I would want to help them.
04:27The greater good means you support and you keep your word.
04:31You said that soccer fans will not have to wait for trains.
04:36Keep your word, okay?
04:37You leave it closed and you serve those soccer fans that deserve the love that they deserve
04:44because it's a bigger sport.
04:45There's no sport bigger than soccer.
04:47And yes, some people watch it and they say it's boring because the most goals you're going
04:51to see is three and then they don't know how to break ties, so they do a stupid penalty
04:55shot format at the end.
04:57Sure, all that's true.
04:58But we know one thing for sure.
05:00World Cup basketball is better than Knicks basketball.
05:03So leave it closed and I can't wait for that scenario to happen.
05:08God bless America.
05:09The Knicks will not be able to celebrate their championship in a game six.
05:13And I'm rooting for that.
05:14Deep down, most of America is as well.
05:19What great news to come out from the World Cup, everybody.
05:22What great news.
