00:39a big fan of South Korean beauty products. This is a new South Korean beauty product
00:44startup and we're here to meet the CMO and the founder of Dear Dot. Hello there. Thank
00:50you for being with us. So, Yong-Han, you're the CMO.
00:53Yes, I am.
00:54Could you tell us about Dear Dot? What is your startup product?
00:58Well, first of all, thanks for interviewing us. It's a pleasure to introduce our product
01:02and our corporation to the offline and online visitors of Vivatech. And our motto of our
01:08corporation is to be eco-friendly. And what we pursue is to think about and care about
01:13the environment. So, we produce this new product with our own technology, including our patent,
01:19production, in order to reduce the waste of plastics. So, the product and the sachet, I mean,
01:25the package of the product itself both dissolve in water. So, after using the product, we do
01:31not produce any kind of trash, including microplastics and stuff like that.
01:36Okay, excellent. And obviously, you know, eco products are very much a big topic here at Vivatech this year. So,
01:42we have the founder of Dear Dot with us.
01:44Would you do us a demonstration of the product itself?
01:48Sure. She's going to show you how we use the cleanser sheet. As you can see, if you pour water
01:55onto our product, it just becomes a soap.
02:01That's very quick. It's turned into a foam super quickly. That was about three seconds.
02:05It is. And we also intend to reduce the use of water because it evaporates. Not all of them, but
02:11just most of them evaporates in a few seconds. So, all you got to do is just wipe out with
02:15a tissue.
02:15So, I can imagine using this. I travel a lot. I could imagine taking this when you go on those
02:20planes and you're not allowed to take your liquids. That would be so useful when I'm traveling, as well as
02:25eco-friendly. And is this the packaging?
02:27Yes. This is the package, the sachet, the wrapping paper. And we invented it with a material called natural biomass.
02:34So, if you just put it in the water and just shake it for a couple of times, it just
02:37disappears without producing any kind of harmful, toxic materials. That's how you get.
02:44Fantastic. I love a product demonstration. Well, I know you're here at Vivatech for the very first time. You're a
02:50startup looking for financing for backers and to launch in Europe before they even launch in Korea.
02:57We're going to have to go back to the studio. But thank you both so much for showing us this
