00:03I'd like to bring in our reporter Simon. Simon, what are you watching this morning?
00:10Well, as we know, VivaTech is such an incredible opportunity for countries to showcase tech that is so unique and
00:18so special to their own nation.
00:20And actually, there's 35 country pavilions this year at VivaTech who are doing exactly that, trying to bridge the gap
00:27between European tech and the rest of the world.
00:30And we know that South Korea is, for example, the country of the year this year's VivaTech with 23 unicorns.
00:37Imagine that, 23 unicorns who are present this year at the event.
00:42So what I suggest often is that we take a little bit of a walk through the alleys here of
00:47these country pavilions.
00:48And some countries are able to achieve incredible things, even through adversity and difficulty in their home nation, and none
00:57more so than Ukraine.
00:58We all know the situation there, but Ukraine has managed to come up with some truly special tech.
01:04And this is our first stop here. We're going to stop at Kudi, which is a mask that gives you
01:10a very interactive approach to your emotions and your movements.
01:17And I'm actually joined by Mike, who's going to give us a very, very brief description about what this is.
01:23Mike, over to you.
01:24Yeah, thank you. Basically, it is the most interactive mask on the market.
01:27And the main feature is you have a face and it adjusts to your movements.
01:33So you speak, mask speaks. You blink, mask blinks.
01:36It's basically a mask for entertainment, for video content creation.
01:40And would you like to try it?
01:42So if I actually try this on for you, Upton, I have the mask here and if I move my
01:48head, I shake my head, the mask should be reacting to my emotions.
01:52It's incredibly innovative. It's incredibly fun. And it's super cool as well.
01:57Now, as I mentioned, Kudi is going through a second round of funding.
02:00They're looking for more funding to make this even more immersive.
02:02There's a lot of AI involved as well. It's super cool.
