00:00Yeah, certainly very few flaws in the game for Deegan in Supercross these days,
00:05and he was pretty much an ace on the Pro Motocross side from the moment he turned professional.
00:11This is the first race of the evening here in Seattle, 250 heat race number one.
00:16Nine riders will transfer to the main event.
00:18Watch the 47, Levi Kitchen, the home state hero, and the winner of this race two years ago.
00:23Been struggling with the starts lately.
00:25It's time to fix it.
00:27Here we go.
00:33Max Anstey and Ryder DeFrancisco side by side.
00:38Anstey on the 61 to the lead.
00:39I thought Anstey did have the clear hole shot, but yes, Ryder D makes the move.
00:45I think he went up the inside there in that 180.
00:49Anstey shuffled back to third, almost caught by Kitchen there for fourth.
00:54So DeFrancisco leads McAdoo now.
00:58I can tell you what, Mother Nature sure has put it on for us today.
01:03Look at this racetrack right here.
01:05I didn't think it was going to be like this a week ago, beginning of the week, and this track
01:10is great here tonight.
01:12You guys are going to really enjoy the racing.
01:14Very technical racetrack here, a lot different pace than what we've seen in the last two weeks.
01:19And what do I mean by that?
01:20A lot slower.
01:22Precision is going to be key.
01:23A lot readier.
01:24It's not like a super speedway.
01:26This is a lot tighter.
01:28Yeah, would you say the jump from Glendale, Arizona last weekend to here is about as big a variance as
01:33you get?
01:33But 100% a massive contrast to what we've seen the last two weeks.
01:38One in Houston and, like you said, last week in Glendale-Weachman.
01:42ARC, it's working well for DeFrancisco, who's starting to pull away a bit from McAdoo and Kitchen.
01:47Kitchen going to work.
01:49And there's the home track specialist.
01:52And the crowd immediately responds.
01:55Great pass by Levi Kitchen.
01:57You think about that incredible ride he had last week in Glendale in the main event.
02:02Looks like he's able to keep that momentum going, excuse me, and just looking good.
02:09Now, remember, this is a hometown race for him, so I expect a lot out of this guy right here.
02:13All right.
02:14Well, SMX betting and DFS gaming is back for 2026.
02:18New sportsbook bonuses and prop markets are available right now.
02:22There's the move.
02:26Is that a tear-off or was that a fist bump?
02:28That was a tear-off right there.
02:30Getting a clear view, clear vision.
02:33Trying to check out right here, Will.
02:35Guy is on rails.
02:36We saw this speed, didn't we, Ricky, last week.
02:39But the starts, as you guys said there, let him down.
02:42He has been working on them during the week.
02:44And I got to speak to the team owner over at Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki to find out how
02:49they've gone.
02:49And he said, look, we're still working on it during the week.
02:52He said the biggest difference is when it comes to race day, the noise of the bikes around him.
02:57Suddenly you can't hear the revving of the engine.
03:00And you have to go just to feel.
03:02Mitch described it as like braille at that point.
03:04You have to feel it.
03:05And he said that takes time.
03:06He said during the week we're good.
03:07If we can execute that in the race, I know he hasn't speeded.
03:11He might have a tough time hearing the bike all the way around the track now because this crowd is
03:15cheering him everywhere he goes.
03:16Yeah.
03:17Keep your eye on this racetrack.
03:18It's going to evolve.
03:19It's going to get really ruddy in between these jumps on the rhythm lanes as well as the corners.
03:25And some of these riders, I feel, like that.
03:27Why?
03:28Because it gets multi-groove.
03:29And you're able to make passes and the opportunity for guys to make up time or your competitors make mistakes
03:35are there, JT.
03:36They sure do, Ricky.
03:37And I think it's important to be aware of what the condition of the racetrack is at the time.
03:42This first heat race, you saw Kitchin going for the big rhythms.
03:45He triples onto that tabletop that you saw in the background there.
03:48You can do those things when the track is still in good condition.
03:50But you need to have a plan later on tonight.
03:53We get into those main events.
03:54When those lines start to go away, you need to be able to pivot to a line you can execute
03:59every single time.
04:00So watch that.
04:01Oh!
04:02McAdoo down.
04:03Oh!
04:04Man, he's so lucky that that foot peg didn't get him in his sides or ribs.
04:10That was super close.
04:11Foot pegs are extremely sharp.
04:14Let's hope he didn't get caught up by that.
04:16I'll tell you what, like JT was talking about, you have to be willing to move around and search
04:21because this track is very, very difficult.
04:23It's going to deteriorate.
04:25Watch what happens here.
04:26Now McAdoo's going to try to get over this jump.
04:30He is sideways on the takeoff, and he runs out of leverage.
04:34You can see his arms were fully extended.
04:37So a lot of riders do that earlier today in qualifying practice.
04:41Oh!
04:42And now just trying to hang on for the qualifying spot.
04:45It's got Justin Rodbell on the 83, the SLR Honda in front of him, but they're both in a transfer
04:51position.
04:52And Revin Gordon is sixth.
04:54Rodbell on the red Honda is seventh.
04:56There's McAdoo eighth.
04:58Oh, this is a good job for Revin Gordon as well.
05:01Two main events in a row.
05:02That's right.
05:03Man, what a step up for him.
05:05There you're talking about.
05:06Watch what these riders are doing right now, and watch the alternate lines that they are taking.
05:10And to what JT was talking about at this point, they are going to be taking different lines all night
05:17long compared to what they've been doing the last two weeks.
05:21Crockett Myers and that yellow Suzuki, he is in that last transfer spot, actually caught up to McAdoo for a
05:27moment.
05:28Now McAdoo going back to work on Rodbell.
05:30Rodbell very happy with this SLR team.
05:33They called him in December.
05:35Looks like McAdoo going to try to make the pass.
05:37Rodbell says he's not quite as fit as he wanted to be.
05:39He was planning on racing east, but he loves the bike, and the speed is there.
05:42And he takes the spot from Gordon, and McAdoo trying to follow him.
05:47Oh, but he's on the inside right here.
05:49So he had two for no.
05:51Not able to do that.
05:53That was a high-risk move he went for, going through the whoops, trying to make the pass, trying to
06:00shoot the gap.
06:01Comes up a little short.
06:03That's the chance you take here in these heat races.
06:07That bottom box is second, but that's Di Francesco versus Anski.
06:11I'll tell you what, man, I love what I've seen from Ryder Di Francesco all season long.
06:17It's like he's a new guy, really gelling with that rock star energy.
06:21Husqvarna working with team manager Nathan Ramsey, such a great team manager as well.
06:25An old teammate of mine, just his composure and how uplifting he is and knowledgeable as well.
06:33As McAdoo in the top box, RC, takes the spot away from Rodbell.
06:38That is fifth and sixth.
06:40Max Folland up ahead at fourth and it's that Anski-DeFrancisco battle.
06:45Meyers working on Gordon now.
06:47And Maschangelo's up to ninth.
06:49Go ahead.
06:49Going to level out for McAdoo.
06:51Next guy's way far away.
06:54Well, Kitchen hasn't won a heat race in about a year.
06:57Oh, wow.
06:57Detroit 2025.
06:59He has eight career heat race wins to his name.
07:02But what this stat tells you is he hasn't won a heat even this year.
07:06This is, this dude is rolling right now.
07:09Looks like he's on cruise control and it is set for him.
07:14Maybe he gets that showdown with Hayden Deegan and can challenge him for the dub later on tonight in the
07:19main event.
07:20And he told me yesterday he loves the Rucks, loves these conditions, and you can see it.
07:25Well, this is a perfect condition for him here tonight.
07:29So, a bit of a rebuild.
07:31Rough start to the year for Kitchen.
07:33His 2025 season was robbed by injury.
07:37He wins the heat to the delight of the crowd.
07:39Here's that final battle.
07:41Oh, Meyers made the move on Rodbell.
07:44Oh, this is this rhythm lane right here.
07:47Very tricky section.
07:48Some guy's trying to get over that steep single from the sand.
07:54If you're able to do that, it changes the sequence.
07:57Looking blue there.
07:57That's Parker Ross on the 40, looking to get in.
08:02I think he was down earlier.
08:03He's had to make up ground.
08:05Was that the final transfer?
08:07Here they come across the line.
08:09No.
08:10Ross is in in seventh.
08:11Rodbell in in eighth.
08:12And Masciangelo, the Canadian, is in on the 800.
08:15Avery Long is going to come up just short and go to the last chance qualifier.
08:21And there we go.
08:21All right.
