00:00Coach, when, you know, I think probably the, you know, the Kansas Jayhawks with that upset of Arizona at the
00:06beginning of the week, you know, a great start to the week.
00:09But I'm hearing more and more about this Wisconsin team.
00:12How much of an impact do you think the Badgers can make, not only in the Big Ten tournament, but
00:16also in the NCAA tournament?
00:17Well, you know, they played better and better as years gone on.
00:21And Nick Boyd has been tremendous.
00:24So between Nick Boyd and Blackwell, they have two guys that can really be explosive.
00:30We know Greg Gard is a really good coach.
00:32And, you know, playing in that league, you're always going to go through a period where, you know, like right
00:37now, Michigan State, they're not playing great right now.
00:39But that thing, that could change, you know, on a dime.
00:42And the same thing with Wisconsin.
00:43They had struggled earlier in the year at times.
00:46Now they're looking like they're a really, really good team.
00:49So, you know, I just, Dan, I find it hard to believe that Kansas upset somebody in Fog Allen Fieldhouse.
00:58I don't care what it is.
01:00How many times has Bill Self been an underdog?
01:04Or how many times has Kansas, period, been an underdog at home in that building?
01:09I don't know, boy.
01:10You can count it on one hand, probably.
01:13Absolutely.
01:13Probably since back in the days of the peach baskets, right?
01:17Yeah.
01:17We go back that far back there.
01:20UConn, can they make any statement?
01:22Are they sitting at a number two seat, in your opinion, right now?
01:25So, again, they're always a dangerous team.
01:28They're a deep team.
01:28Maybe not the team that they were.
01:30Coach Callum said maybe not the team they had a year ago.
01:33But that basketball team is a team that could be a danger in a tournament.
01:38Do you agree?
01:39Oh, no question about it.
01:40I mean, this team could win the whole thing.
01:42I mean, let's face it.
01:43And I think the one thing that they have that they didn't have as much of last year is they
01:49have a really good bench besides being the team that they are in terms of their starters.
01:55You know, Silas Demery has had a really good year, except for that nine turnover aberration that he had against
02:02St. John's, has had a really, really good year.
02:05But he's a freshman.
02:07They have big guys.
02:08They got Reby coming off the bench, who's a good player.
02:12They shoot the ball well.
02:14Solo Ball's been up and down this year.
02:16I mean, he's going to be a big key.
02:17If he can get himself going, because he is a tremendous three-point shooter who hasn't shot it great this
02:22year, that's big.
02:24Braylon Mullins, and let's understand this.
02:26They've lost two games.
02:28One was to St. John's, to St. John's.
02:30One was home to Arizona.
02:31But when they lost to Arizona, they didn't have Terrace Reed, and they didn't have Braylon Mullins.
02:35That's two starters, and they lost by two points in that game.
02:39So this UConn team certainly can win the national title.
