India is preparing to approve a landmark ₹3.25 lakh crore deal for 114 French Rafale fighter jets ahead of President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Delhi, set to become the country’s largest-ever defense purchase. The agreement will sharply expand Indian Air Force combat power and includes advanced weapons, trainers, maintenance packages, and long-term logistics support to ensure sustained operational readiness across western and northern fronts.

Around 100 aircraft are expected to be manufactured in India under the Make in India strategic partnership model with significant technology transfer to boost the domestic aerospace sector. India will become one of the biggest non-French operators of Rafales, building on the existing fleet of 36 jets and the separate ₹63,000-crore order for 26 naval variants for carrier operations.

00:00India's Sukhoi MKI is now poised to become even more formidable than the Rafale.
00:09This flagship fighter jet of the Indian Air Force is now elevating its strike capabilities to the next level
00:14thanks to the Super Sukhoi upgrade and the Rampage missile.
00:17Sars fired your heart at the FI.
00:20Hull has confirmed that Sukhoi MKI jets are said to be equipped with advanced technology
00:26and are currently awaiting final approval from the Cabinet Committee on Security.
00:32This crucial upgrade will ensure the Sukhoi MKI fleet remains fully operational and a modern, formidable fighter jet.
00:40Until the future self-fighter becomes fully operational, this upgrade will equip the Sukhoi with a sophisticated radar system.
00:47This system is not only capable of detecting long-range targets with precision,
00:50but also simultaneously tracking multiple targets at once.
00:53Additionally, it will feature an advanced AI-based digital cockpit, enhancing its overall combat capabilities.
00:59The multi-function display and voice command system will also support pilots in real-time decision-making.
01:06The IRST system is also being equipped with upgraded self-protection jammers and advanced electronic warfare capabilities,
01:15which will play a very critical role in confusing enemy radars and missiles.
01:20With the advanced data link system, instant communication and coordinated attacks between Sukhoi MKI and other aircraft will now be possible,
01:29which will significantly enhance the overall capability of the entire Air Force.
01:33And now, let's talk about Rampage missiles.
01:35This missile is supersonic and can fly in stealth mode at low altitude,
01:40and with a powerful 570-kilogram warhead, it can destroy critical targets.
01:47Tracking this missile will be extremely challenging even for high-end defense systems like S-400, THAAD, and Iron Dome.
01:56This missile is capable of striking command centers, bunkers, bridges, airfields,
02:04and even warships, and has already proven to be highly effective in the Indian Air Force's precision strike operations.
02:13Previously, this missile was also integrated into aircraft like the Jaguar, Darren 3, and the MiG-29.
02:19However, with the Sukhoi's larger airframe and its significantly enhanced fire control system,
02:24the overall impact of this missile becomes exponentially more deadly and devastating.
02:29Now, the Rafale is also an advanced multi-role fighter jet.
02:33However, the Sukhoi MKI will now possess a significantly extended range.
02:38Equipped with two powerful engines, its inherent capability to carry heavy weaponry truly sets it apart.
02:43With the integration of the Rampage missile, it has now become considerably more formidable than the Rafale
02:48for standoff attacks and deep strike missions.
02:51Defense analysts suggest that in numerous combat scenarios,
02:53the Sukhoi MKI could indeed prove to be superior to the Rafale.
02:56Especially when it's necessary to neutralize multiple targets simultaneously,
03:00it is even more effective than the Rafale.
03:03From a strategic perspective, this upgrade represents a significant game-changer for India's aerial dominance
03:08and its regional power projection capabilities.
03:11It also serves as a clear warning to both Pakistan and China
03:14that the Indian Air Force's core strength is undergoing continuous modernization
03:18and that we are now fully equipped with the world's most advanced world-class weapon systems.
03:22With the Super Sukhoi upgrade and the Rampage missile combination,
03:26the Sukhoi is no longer just a fighter jet.
03:28It has now become the Indian Air Force's ultimate deterrent weapon,
03:31perfectly prepared for high-intensity aerial warfare and precision strikes.
