India and France are set to sign an MoU to establish a joint venture for manufacturing HAMMER precision-guided air-to-ground weapons in India.The HAMMER (Highly Agile Modular Munition Extended Range) is already integrated with the Indian Air Force’s fleet, including the Rafale fighter jets. The move is expected to strengthen India’s defence manufacturing under the Make in India initiative and deepen strategic ties between New Delhi and Paris.The agreement will boost local production capabilities and enhance India’s air strike precision systems.
