00:00When it comes to a regime, who are the people that are dealing in corruption while everyday
00:06working people starve?
00:10We know what is happening here.
00:13And as you said, this is ground zero for Epstein out here.
00:17And not a single person has been pursued because they know that that goes all the way to...
00:25I am so deeply excited to be here with each and every one of you all.
00:31Let's do a quick check out here.
00:33How many Boricua do we have here in the house?
00:37Let me see something.
00:39Do we have any former, current New Yorkers out here?
00:44And now we are in Kissimmee.
00:46You know, they call it...
00:48You know the Bermuda Triangle?
00:51I call that the Boricua Triangle.
00:54We got Puerto Rico, New York to Florida.
00:57And on top of that, we want to make sure that the Boricua Triangle makes history here on November 3rd
01:07for Angie Nixon.
01:10So many of us are feeling the power of this moment.
01:15And the weight of this moment.
01:17And the stakes of this moment.
01:20And we don't need to be even watching the news every single day to know that something's going on.
01:27Because every day we wake up for work and you're heading down to work and we see gas.
01:34Four, five, six, seven dollars a gallon.
01:38We're going to the grocery stores and our paychecks are not able to cover the cost of everything that's in
01:44our cart that we would fill it up with just a year or two ago.
01:50But then on top of that, we see it all connected to the larger picture of things.
01:54We're seeing a war that has started in Iran.
01:58We're seeing corruption on levels that we have never seen before, genuinely and truly.
02:07We're talking about corruption coming out of this White House that is unconscionable for democracy in the United States.
02:15Unconscionable.
02:18But I want to be very clear that we are also seeing seeds of hope across this country.
02:28And each and every one of you is a seed of hope here in the state of Florida.
02:34And Angie Nixon is a shining beacon of that hope and what is possible for us.
02:42Now, we know here in Florida that we've got a lot of work to do.
02:45In fact, I don't know if many of you were paying attention, but we had the governor of Puerto Rico,
02:51Jennifer Gonzalez, coming out through town.
02:55It's very interesting because we see some of the commonalities in what happens sometimes in Puerto Rico and what happens
03:02here in Florida.
03:02And frankly, what gets experimented on out there comes to the rest of the country.
03:07There have been early data centers that have been constructed out in Puerto Rico.
03:12And now we're seeing a water crisis on a level never before seen, truly and genuinely.
03:19But then when we see that coming out here, we're starting to see those similar things popping up, those proposals.
03:25But you all successfully fought against the data center proposal that happened out here in Florida.
03:33Using people power, the power of everyday people.
03:37And that is just the beginning of what is possible for each and every one of us.
03:42Because it's not just the polls that we can have our voice heard.
03:47It's in our community centers, our gatherings, our organizing, our ability to knock on each other's door and to connect
03:53one-on-one with each other.
03:56And it really is going to take everyday working people, not bought by big companies or working for Wall Street,
04:06that are going to change this country and turn everything around.
04:14One of the things that we saw from Jennifer Gonzalez out there that was saying that we saw out here
04:19that they also say here is
04:21They like to use the cuco of comunism out here that everything that they don't like is called comunism.
04:32And any person that they don't like is also a comunist.
04:38But I want to say to you that the good school is not the comunism.
04:46That the health for us, the system of health that guarantees a system of health like a right to every
04:55person in the United States,
04:57that is not comunism, my love.
05:01That is not comunism, my love.
05:03That is not comunism, my friends.
05:04That is called common sense.
05:07The common sense.
05:09That is not comunism.
05:11That is not common sense.
05:11That is common sense.
05:14To translate.
05:16These folks like to say that everything that they don't like is communism.
05:20And they like to call everyone that they disagree with a communist.
05:26But we've got news for you.
05:29Good schools is not communism.
05:35Funded hospitals is not communism.
05:39And guaranteeing health care as a right to every American is not communism, it's common sense.
05:50It's common sense.
05:53Because we are the only developed nation in the entire world that does not guarantee health care to its citizens
06:03as a right.
06:04And what these folks want the people of Florida to believe is that our own dignity, the idea that we
06:12can just afford groceries and rent and our mortgages,
06:17And to be able to send our kids to school with dignity and respect is some kind of authoritarianism and
06:25regime.
06:26But to the people of Florida, I have a question for you.
06:31When it comes to a regime, who are the people who are lining the White House with gold?
06:38When it comes to a regime, who are the people sending secret police to snatch activists off the street?
06:48When it comes to a regime, who are the people that are dealing in corruption while everyday working people starve?
06:58We know what is happening here.
07:01And as you said, this is ground zero for Epstein out here.
07:05And not a single person has been pursued because they know that that goes all the way to the top.
07:16And when people wake up and when we turn this ship around, we are going to hold corruption accountable and
07:24we will guarantee health care to every American as a right.
07:31Kissimmee, there's only one person in this Senate race that has fought to raise the minimum wage in this country
07:38and that's Angie Nixon.
07:41Kissimmee, there's only one person in this Senate race that hasn't taken money from special interests and corporations and that's
07:48Angie Nixon.
07:51There's only one person in this Senate race that has stood up for our dignity and that is Angie Nixon.
08:02Don't let them use fear and scare tactics to get us to stop thinking critically.
08:11Read and understand what is going on because our minds, our ability to think independently is the only thing we
08:21have preserving our democracy.
08:24And so when you see all of this back and forth, crazy things, you know, the Photoshop, the AI that
08:32they put on television, understand the truth that Angie Nixon was a young single mom who has lifted herself up
08:43from everything that she's had, using everything that she's had.
08:47And she doesn't want to close the door behind her.
08:51She wants everyone else to walk through with her.
08:58We are here in Kissimmee for a very deliberate reason.
09:03Because the future of Florida will be decided in Kissimmee and Orlando.
09:13Everybody can pay attention to lots of other places and every vote matters and everyone counts.
09:22But in this election and for every election moving forward, Kissimmee and Orlando will be making the difference.
09:33Whether we turn out or not makes the difference.
09:37Whether you bring your friends to the polls or not will make the difference.
09:42And whether we turn out or not will make the difference.
09:48Not this year, but every year moving forward.
09:52That's why we're here.
09:54And there is no place that I would rather be deciding the future of Florida and consequently this country than
10:04places like Orlando.
10:10Communities of honest working people trying to make ends meet and just asking for a government that works for them.
10:18That's it.
10:20It's not extreme.
10:22It's not outlandish.
10:24It's not out far left.
10:27It's what you deserve.
10:31And so with that, I am so excited to introduce the woman of the hour, your next senator, Angie Nixon.
10:51Thank you very much.
