00:00Today graduation means so much. So St. Mary's has taught me to be determined,
00:15strong, and just persistent in everything that I do. They've given me a
00:21motto and showed me that yes you are a black girl, yes you can be something, you
00:27can be something greater than what you normally would see portrayed in the
00:30media. When I go into the real world and I'm helping people with just what I want
00:35to do, I'm never gonna stop, never gonna give up on myself. Graduation means that
00:40I will not be saying goodbye to my sisters but only see you later. I know
00:44there will be 46 other great African-American women in the world doing
00:50great things and I know that we left a legacy.
