It's all been building up to this. The 2023 Oscar nominations were unveiled on January 24, with nominees including Austin Butler, Cate Blanchett, and more.

00:00Hey guys, it's Ali for Hollywood Life and it's a big day in Hollywood as the Oscar nominations

00:04have been announced. Allison Williams and Riz Ahmed read the Academy Award noms this morning

00:10and fan favorite Everything Everywhere all at once swept the categories with 11 total nominations

00:16including Best Picture, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, and two

00:21Best Actresses in a Supporting Role noms. All Quiet on the Western Front and The Banshees of

00:27Inez Shirin followed shortly behind with nine nominations each. Elvis received eight nods

00:32including Austin Butler for Best Actor for his portrayal of Elvis Presley. Top Gun Maverick

00:38also received seven nominations from the Academy including Best Picture and Lady Gaga's song for

00:44the film Hold My Hand for Best Song. Rihanna was also nominated for her song in Black Panther called

00:49Lift Me Up. So this means we will get both a Rihanna and a Lady Gaga performance at the Oscars this year.

00:56Honestly, anything will be better than last year's mess of the show. The Oscars will be held at the
