00:15I'm Craig DeGrelli. Here on Media Miss Minute, we spotlight two stories that are getting less attention from the partisan media,
00:22starting with what the right is missing.
00:24The National Rifle Association is publicly pushing back after President Trump said Alex Preddy should not have been carrying a gun at a protest.
00:34In a post on social media, the NRA said it, quote,
00:37It comes after federal immigration agents shot and killed Preddy in Minneapolis while he was carrying a permitted concealed weapon,
00:52which he did not draw on officers.
00:55Now to what the left is missing.
00:57The Trump administration is suing a woman for nearly $1 million for failing to leave the country after being ordered to self-deport.
01:04According to the lawsuit, Marta Alicia Ramirez-Valiz did not leave when she was required to in 2022.
01:11So, the federal government served a formal notice of intention to fine Valiz last April.
01:17The Trump administration is seeking more than $941,000 in fines, plus interest, according to the lawsuit.
