00:18I'm Craig DeGrelli. In today's Media Miss Minute, two stories getting little attention from partisan outlets, starting with what the
00:25right is missing.
00:26President Trump says the federal government cannot fund Medicare, Medicaid, and child care services, saying resources need to go to
00:34the war in Iran, according to NBC News.
00:37At a White House Easter luncheon, Trump said he told Budget Director Russell Vogt, quote, don't send any money for
00:44daycare.
00:44He also said the federal government should not take care of Medicare and Medicaid, arguing those programs should be handled
00:52by the states because, quote, we are fighting wars.
00:54Now to what the left is missing. A federal judge has blocked the Trump administration from ending legal status for
01:01migrants who entered using the CBP1 app.
01:05The administration shut down the Biden-era app, which allowed migrants in Mexico to enter the U.S. while waiting
01:12for asylum hearings, and moved to revoke their legal status.
01:16A federal judge has now ruled that move was, quote, not in accordance with the law.
