01:51oldest winner at that tournament this weekend incredible weekend for justin rose who is basically
01:58one of those golfers it does seem to come through every once in a while at very big odds uh he talked
02:04after the event was over just how big it was for him and his career to get the victory what's the
02:09emotions right now after achieving all those things you know first and foremost it's just it's
02:14obviously an amazing feeling to win anytime anyplace by one by whoever wherever on any golf course but
02:19yeah when you start to think about some of the sort of the way this week unfolded it really is probably
02:25incredibly special i just got really disciplined this week obviously i was playing well but i just
02:29thought the way i managed my game the way i thought about things the way i was patient at the right times
02:33the way i was able to absorb a little bit of the odd mistake by holding the right part of the right time
02:37yeah it was just there was a lot of sort of real um i guess mental maturity from a from a strategic
02:43golf point of view out there which you know i think you know look at the best players in history
02:47jack tiger i'm gonna say scotty shefflin now as well that's the sort of thing that they do really
02:52really well week in week out and i felt like that's something i did really really well this week
02:55at the australian open this weekend it was the battle of the ages carlos alcaraz against novak
03:02jokovic of course alvarez the younger player and another championship for him he wins the grand slam
03:08he's also the youngest to become world number one youngest to achieve that grand slam and the
03:14youngest to win slams on all surfaces incredible weekend for alcaraz and of course went through
03:20one of the longest matches of his career over the weekend as well here he is after the victory and
03:25also jokovic alcaraz the credit after the match complete the career grand slam was uh was something
03:31that was on my mind um you know every every time that i come in here to australia i just uh made the
03:37precision just uh with with my mind into into this tournament to to try to work as hard as i can and
03:44to be as uh well prepared as i can you know to to play this tournament uh i'm trying to to get trophy
03:52in the previous year i haven't haven't gone you know in in a good way but uh really happy that i just
03:58pushed myself to be better and uh you know uh finally came finally came this year i can say that
04:04for me it's uh it's always a a pleasure to to face him uh because he definitely is you know one of the
04:16the best players i've ever faced in my in my career so you know he makes you play your best tennis in
04:23order to beat him so i you know i uh it's what i've done you know for for like set and a half but
04:29then yeah things change and uh he deserved to win nicks pick up a 12 point victory on sunday against
04:37the lakers 112 to 100 nicks were six and a half point favorites and new york has now won six straight
04:43games og ananobi with 25 points in this one and jalen brunson after the game said it was good to see
04:50is shots falling yeah i mean um shots not falling you got impact against somehow somewhere else um
04:57i kept seeing two people and so just trying to make the right play at the right time and
05:01uh we were getting good looks and so uh just gonna play the defense how they're playing and um
05:08they were knocking shots down and the way we were moving the ball was great what turned the game in
05:11the third quarter uh defense um my pressure physicality turned up a little bit um a little
05:20different from the first half and uh just uh it was big time for us that's what we needed that's
05:24what we need to win i mean at the end of the day everything has to come to the end at some point so
05:29no matter what it is it's gonna be like i would never play again in madison square garden i would
05:33never play again in certain arenas i would never play again period so i mean at that point you know it
05:38doesn't matter you're gonna always miss it you're gonna miss the game in general so it doesn't
05:40um this one will always have like a special place in the in the journey because it is
05:45madison square garden so um but yeah when that time comes yeah for sure we'll see if that's the
05:51end of lebron's career in madison square garden as well all right kawaii leonard 25 points he's
05:57averaging 27 points a game this season he's been incredible the clippers beat the suns and it wasn't
06:02close 117 to 93 they cover the two and a half points and of course held phoenix to 93 points so
06:08after the game tyloo impressed with his team's defense yeah no it feels good you know i thought
06:12everyone who played like you said had an impact on the game you know cam christy coming in with his
06:16defense um nico defensively as well and jord mill scoring the basketball and then going double big
06:22you know with zill and brook again you know and so seeing another five turn off another five and post
06:27the basketball you know but um just everyone just you know like i said have fun enjoyed it but you
06:33know competing at a high level and i thought we were really good defensively tonight their physicality
06:36their size overwhelmed us at times we got to use our speed the best we can couldn't get out in
06:42transition um when you're taking it out of the net so often um or after free throws so yeah their size
06:49really impacted us for sure really on both ends uh defensively that they're as good as anyone
06:55defensively when you're playing against them in the half court you can't move them um with an elite
07:00on ball defender and done and then offensively they just threw the ball inside um and when they
07:06didn't get it inside they threw it up on the glass when they didn't do that they got fouled and went to
07:11the free throw line so um yeah their size hurt us for sure spurs had all kinds of travel issues
07:18yesterday due to the inclement weather and cold weather throughout the country they still beat the
07:22magic 112 to 103 they were four and a half point favorites wemby had 25 points eight rebounds four
07:30steals and five blocks all in a day's work for him here's mitch johnson on picking up the win against
07:36the magic heck of a response by those guys and they've they've proven that quite a bit this year
07:42and that's why we have the the pit in the stomach and the fire in the belly in the hole in the heart at
07:49times because when we don't play to that standard and what they've shown they're capable of it's
07:54maddening and that's the forever ending battle that we will win but um very pleased with the effort and
08:04the response and the tone set by quite a few guys in the defense in the second half was nails
08:11i just don't think we came out with the right mentality um you know he's i said it time and time
08:16again um you know we weren't ready to play you know we're a step slow um you know especially on
08:23the defensive end i mean they were getting whatever they wanted um you know and then we we settled into
08:28the rhythm of the game but i mean we're you're playing the second best team in the league so um
08:33you know you don't you can't afford to have moments like that so um i talk about our growth and
08:38and stuff like that but we had to start putting it into action um and then being better
