00:00I know we don't want to keep harping on winter storm fern, but there are some good things that
00:06came of it. So, um, I just saw a headline that said Pennsylvania pharmacy offers free salt to
00:15people ahead of winter storm fern. And I thought, yeah, Pennsylvania pharmacy, go for it. So upon
00:22reading more, I thought, I know this pharmacy really well, and I'm very excited to share it
00:27with you. So skip back pharmacy in skip back. Township, Pennsylvania gave away free road salt
00:32to neighbors as supplies ran low and local stores. The owner there, um, Dr. Mack organized the effort
00:39by securing a dump truck of salt through RVG trucking, which transported it from Delaware
00:45and residents arrived with shovels and buckets to collect what they needed. This is amazing.
00:51You want to name one of those residents? Yeah, boy. Nice. Went down there with my shovel and some
00:56buckets and the community vibe. Andy was unbelievable down there. This is what Dr. Mack does Jeff. So
01:02before you moved to back to Pennsylvania, um, Dr. Mack became a good friend of the Andy summer show
01:10because during the COVID pandemic, he committed to vaccinating anyone who showed up to one of his
01:16mass vax events. I was one of them. I helped volunteer at a few of them and I got my vaccinations.
01:23My kids all got our vaccinations through Dr. Mack at skip back pharmacy and he made national news
01:28because he would dress as Superman and he would go walk around and make sure everybody's getting
01:35their vaccinations. And he became a character. He was on all of the major news networks all over the
01:41nation because he was making sure that everybody got what they needed at this very scary time in our
01:46world. He ended up vaccinating over a hundred thousand people by the end of 2021, which is
01:52amazing. Dr. Mack was born and raised in Lansdale. And according to his bio on the skip back pharmacy
01:58website, he is a serial entrepreneur driven by a passion to serve society and help those in need.
02:04And once again, he did not disappoint. Yeah. The money he raised went to a local cafe that employs
02:11adults with special needs. Yeah. It's called the so much to give inclusive cafe been there. It is
02:17such a great cause. And he said, Hey, I want to give as much money as I can. Last time I checked their
02:23goal on their GoFundMe over $10,000, but he was taking donations by credit card or cash in person.
02:28And that jar was full. Right. So all of this salt, this road salt that he got, he gave away for free.
02:34And he just asked people to make donations to this great organization, which is fantastic.
02:56Oh yeah.
