00:00Imagine fighting climate change from your home and getting paid, and it's a reality.
00:07So today I do want to go over a few jobs that you can do that actually do pay you to do
00:12this and also a remote carbon credit data analysis and really just five skills that
00:20somebody really should have to get this job and what the job entails.
00:26So a little while ago, I made a video about how somebody can actually earn money if they
00:31had trees on their property because then they would get these carbon credits and they would
00:36then go to exchange and sell those carbon credits to companies when they went over their cap
00:42and trade system and they would actually get paid on those carbon credits.
00:47So you can make money from having trees for the green energy movement, and there's a way
00:52to do that.
00:53Now, to verify that, then somebody needs to do that, and that's what a carbon credit
01:02data analysis does, to verify that there's a carbon credit.
01:07So these are the five skills that somebody needed.
01:09Obviously, you need critical thinking to spot fraud, ability to use programs to understand
01:15satellite images and data, turn messy data so it's just simple, tracking greenhouse gases
01:22to understand the impact of climate.
01:24And really explain that data in simple ways.
01:26So that's what you're doing, you're simplifying the freaking data.
01:30Okay.
01:31Now, the bad news is, what does it take to do that job, right?
01:35Like, what's the pay and all that stuff?
01:37Well, you need a degree.
01:39And that's the bad news, okay?
01:41It's just to get your foot in the door, and it's one of these right here, okay?
01:45And if you want to move up even higher, like a senior role, then, yeah, there's a good,
01:50a master's degree, specialized certificate helps a lot, too.
01:55Okay.
01:56And the pay is really good, okay?
02:00You know, $48,000, $70,000 a year to start, that's just a start, and it goes higher as
02:04well.
02:05And you might be thinking, well, that sounds great, Kevin, but I don't have a degree, so
02:08how else can I help fight the climates, get paid good money, and do it from home?
02:14Because, you know, with home, it's great because you save money on gas, wear and tear your car,
02:18and you help the environment right there, right?
02:20Okay.
02:21There's a lot of ways, and I'll just give you a few, okay?
02:24Okay, one is a community-like leosin, I just butchered that.
02:29Say that five times fast, right?
02:32Community leosin, I butchered that.
02:36Yeah, okay, whatever.
02:37So, basically what you're doing is you're connecting residents, you know, to clean energy,
02:42and away from fossil fuels, and not just with a company.
02:45You can do it through government agencies, nonprofits, utility companies, and clean energy
02:50startups, right?
02:51And you don't need a degree, and it's completely home-based, okay?
02:55So, you're like, well, what the heck do you do all day then, right?
02:58Well, you do things like check emails from residents who are confused about like a solar rebate,
03:03you know, explain it to them.
03:05You know, maybe host a lunch, you know, with a neighborhood, explaining how they could lower their energy bills.
03:11Okay?
03:12Also, meet with project managers and explain what the, like a neighborhood's, you know, what their concerns are with something.
03:20And doing things with social media, you know, stuff like that.
03:24So, it's really the communications role, right?
03:27And I actually did something very similar to this with this accounting company.
03:31And I would contact small business owners and hook them up with this accounting company that specializes in this COVID tax credit.
03:39And it was one of the best jobs I've ever done.
03:42I did it from home.
03:43It was super flexible.
03:45And it was, because here's the thing.
03:48I got to help out these like small restaurant owners and bar owners, these small businesses.
03:53Not these big corporations, right?
03:56You know, these small mom and pop shops are the backbone of, you know, the economy.
04:02They hire a lot of people.
04:04And they got hit during COVID hard.
04:06So, they definitely deserved it.
04:09And a couple of these businesses, I helped them out a lot.
04:12They could have easily went under, you know.
04:15So, it was a great feeling on that way.
04:18And it sounds easy, but it wasn't.
04:21There's a lot of communication involved.
04:24But yeah, this is also really good pay.
04:27Look at this.
04:28$52,000, $75,000 a year.
04:30I mean, that's, is that the same, is that more money than the, might be, than the, I
04:40can't even say the name of the carbon credit data analysis.
04:44But of course, that's just the start, you know.
04:46So, yeah, you could definitely make great money at this, right?
04:49All right.
04:50And that's just one way.
04:51Another way which you can actually fight carbon from home is with affiliate marketing.
04:57If you're not sure what that is, it's kind of like where if you post a link and somebody
05:01clicks on a link and buys something, you get paid.
05:04But here's the thing.
05:05Sometimes, if you post a link and they just fill out a form for more information, like
05:11a lead, you get paid too.
05:14So, it's a wonderful business model.
05:16What's so cool about affiliate marketing is how flexible it is.
05:20So, you can do it anywhere in the world, anytime, in nearly any niche.
05:25Light, green energy, saving the environment.
05:28That's a big, that's a big industry.
05:30There's a lot of ways to get paid.
05:32There's lots of business models.
05:34It's a ton of fun.
05:35There's a lot of freedom and creativity and flexibility.
05:39And you're your own boss.
05:40You don't got to waste money on gas and time.
05:43And you don't have to make videos like this.
05:45There's many different business models to choose from with affiliate marketing.
05:50And it does work.
05:52All right.
05:53Now, I'll give you another story too, just to throw this out there.
05:57Because I actually thought about this, because I live in California.
06:00I thought about doing Cal Fire, right?
06:02Kind of help out the fires.
06:03I was watching some story about Paradise and the town burned down.
06:09That sounds kind of cool.
06:10I'm looking into this, because I got recruited at the fairgrounds.
06:13And I started looking into it.
06:15And he said one thing.
06:16But I used AI and I got some different information.
06:19To get a job in Cal Fire, you have to pay them like $5,000 to $10,000 for the education, your own equipment.
06:28And there's a chance you might not even get hired.
06:31So I'm thinking like, I'm 45 years old.
06:33I'm not sure they're going to hire my ass.
06:35I'm in shape, but this is the craziest thing.
06:38It's competitive.
06:39Who wants to do that?
06:42I guess a lot of people do.
06:44It's very hard to get a job doing that.
06:47Who would have thought that, right?
06:49Well, FYI.
06:50But here's the good news.
06:52There's a lot of work from home jobs out there.
06:55There's just tons.
06:57And what's so cool about working from home is, again, you save money on gas and the commute.
07:02That's time and money in your pocket.
07:05You give yourself a raise.
07:06But what you also got to think about is the flexibility.
07:09It's little things that you take for granted.
07:11Like if you have kids, you know, being there when, you know, picking them up or from a play they have.
07:16Or three, it opens up more doors.
07:19Yeah.
07:20I mean, when you're, by looking at a job nationally or globally, you get more opportunities.
07:27So you can be choosy.
07:28So there's so many, so many benefits.
07:30You know, I'm not sure about negativities.
07:33People say it's lonely.
07:34I'm like, I ain't lonely to me.
07:36I ain't lonely.
07:37I like it.
07:38So if you want to know, well, that's great, but what are some other jobs out there?
07:43I'll put a link on the screen to 10 steps to find the right work from home, a gig, side hustle job for you.
07:51It simplifies it.
07:52So it's very helpful.
07:53And I'll put the link down below in the description as well.
07:56You click on it.
07:57You check it out.
07:58And all right.
07:59Anyways, you have a wonderful rest of your day.
08:01Okay.
08:02Bye.
