00:17the fallout from their loss to the denver broncos was sean mcdermott being fired brandon bean being
00:23elevated and then joe brady being elevated the fallout from this has seemingly been skewing
00:33negative people don't seem as in on the notion of this team upgrading joe brady to become their head
00:40coach and i think the why is probably as simple as people do not think brandon bean is very good at
00:50his job and he now has even more power and whether you liked brady's offensive philosophies or not
00:58the offense being good is one thing but without mcdermott the defense had a lot of people believe
01:05mcdermott had been getting the best out of that defense and that even if the results weren't that
01:09good that was the best you were going to get there is some excitement around jim leonard and i think
01:13that that's helped people with this whole thing because people believe jim leonard is kind of a
01:19star in the making as far as the defensive coordinator they got him outside out of denver
01:23i haven't been able to talk to you much about this so i'm really what do you make of buffalo's
01:29decision to not just fire mcdermott but that then leading to the upgrade for joe brady i thought it
01:35was good because i thought they plateaued with mcdermott okay they got it they got as far as they
01:40could for some reason they couldn't break through you can i don't mean to cut i just want to say this
01:44though i think that people who are upset about this won't disagree that they plateaued with mcdermott
01:50but then they'll be frustrated that they have kept so much else actually the same okay is that unfair
01:57to say no but you're you're getting a significantly younger head coach now i think part of it it's an
02:06interesting dynamic because again josh allen was in on every interview who does that right it's they
02:15want to make josh allen happy right i get that you want to make josh allen happy yeah but you also have
02:21to push josh allen uh past the point he hasn't been able to to get to and that's the super bowl right
02:27and so is this gonna is this higher and i think brady is good right in-house guy obviously was very
02:36emotional uh you know loves the players i think that'll go well especially with the josh allen led
02:42locker room and and obviously that's important you want a young player that could relate maybe to these
02:49guys but i i think the issue is and i i continue and i love leonard i think the the higher of leonard's
02:58great i do i think that defense will get significantly better they'll become more physical that was
03:04something that they weren't i i don't believe the last couple of years under sean mcdermott i don't
03:09think there was as physical as those bills defenses that when josh started to heat up from an
03:15offensive perspective they were much more physical at the point of attack now that you can make the
03:20argument due to departures injuries they were like a glass house i mean they were getting run on almost
03:26every week in the regular season i'm just saying when you look at this team now and joe brady
03:32i want to see how he coaches them up is he going to be more of that ceo you know rob rockeye i know
03:42he'll call the plays and they got carmichael uh in there is oc so he'll devise the gameplay i love
