00:00because you fire mcdermott uh and mcdermott i don't think was responsible for the loss i agree
00:05with against the denver broncos we could talk all day night about the officiating i have no problem
00:10talking about it the two defensive pass interference calls in ot and of course the decision to call a
00:16pass that i thought was a catch uh which they turned into an interception um and it was a
00:22debatable bang bang play here's what's funny we're putting up the play from the bills broncos game
00:27i'm talking about and at the same time we're putting the davante adams catch against the
00:32chicago bears from yesterday i don't think they're the same okay i don't in the davante adams one
00:38the ball didn't get ripped out of his arms for two beats two seconds let's say after he catches it
00:46goes down knee hits the ground ball gets ripped out no denying that but in the bronco one it was a lot
00:54faster but and if you don't think it was faster you're just not watching but wait a minute what
00:59does the speed have to do with anything it's about the knee yeah in both cases yeah side by side we
01:04see the photo good each offensive player still has possession with the knee down why does how long
01:10after the knee down matter i don't think cooks has possession that shot i think he's already losing
01:15possession to the defensive back now i'm not going to die on that hill i understand why people are crazy
01:21about it i thought the davante adams one was much clearer possession but and then he goes down as
01:28opposed to the cooks one where he goes up obviously makes a great catch but as he's coming down kind of
01:34felt like the ball changed his hands i don't know all right so i know but my oh that's right everything
01:38yeah i forgot well but my no cut it out yeah cut it out um i could go either way on the cooks when in
01:45that because the nfl has done a poor job and this goes back to that fraud roger goodell but i don't
01:51need to talk about that right now we don't still we don't know what a catch is and that's problematic
01:57it's not consistent somewhat arbitrary and subjective i agree with you on that because if
02:01if they have equal possession to the on the cooks one yeah then the a tie goes to the offense
02:08that's supposed to be that's actually a law that's the rule yeah well if it's dual possession
02:12you get arrested for it but it's like a written thing that's the rule it should be a law perhaps
02:17they'll ratify that now that that happened but my bigger issue with that one in that game is
02:24josh allen stunk yeah and that's why like sean mcdermott got fired because the best quarterback in
02:29football stunk he stunk let's just call it the way it is he had uh two interceptions he lost two
02:36fumbles the one right before halftime is a brain dead play kills that you expect rookies to make yeah
02:42or cj stroud right and i don't like people blaming the coach for this reason like either
02:47the producers like taking either and here's my issue with that is if you have the best quarterback
02:51what you're saying is if something's wide open if they blow up blow a coverage if you can somehow
02:57run for field goal range do it if not you'll be a smart football player and get on the ground
03:02i'm not okay with protecting josh allen the way i would a rookie so i can't have on one side people
03:08telling me he's the best quarterback in the sport and he's uh you know oh my god i'll stop you there
03:13all you need to know about josh out who's you know crying at the press postgame press conference and
03:19i know for some people that's great that he's showing a vulnerability and emotions
03:22for other people it's like uh grow up be a man you know i just still that thing men don't cry and
03:28you know after losing a football game but he's wailing away like a little baby yeah forget about you
03:34whether it's an interception or catch let's even forget about the turnovers for a second okay
03:39obviously it's a big part of the game at the end of regulation he's got dalton kinkade wide open
03:44on the five yard line for a touchdown to win the game and advance to the afc championship game he
03:51overthrew him in overtime he's got i think it was cooks on the left side on that second down wide open
03:58probably gets into field goal range and he underthrows him right so he had two fumbles that's on him
04:04he had two interceptions one's on him one for sure we could debate the other one which we're
04:09going to do obviously uh all day today but with the game on the line you got what you wanted you've
04:16got the best quarterback in football i kept being told the best quarterback in football the reigning
04:22mvp and what did he do he misses a wide open dalton kinkade to win the game on the road we're not
04:29talking about bo nix's ankle today we're not talking about officiating today all we're talking
04:35about is how great josh allen is and how josh allen went on the road with very few good wide receivers on
04:42his roster and beat the number one seed that's all we're talking about today so josh allen simply makes
04:48a throw that the greatest quarterback in football today should make with his eyes closed in his sleep
04:55we are not talking about all the other crazy stuff that did happen and it happened and now it's a part
05:01of the lore and part of the story but the reality is that josh allen played like crap period stop
05:10that's it he just did that's the storyline you're absolutely right right yeah it has to be and what
05:15bothers me about it is because so many people like him specifically yeah it becomes you can't just say
05:22that without pushback already know if this gets put online what you just said i already know there'll
05:27be people who are but there's nothing to push back on is he a great quarterback yeah he is is he the
05:32best quarterback in football no he's not he's not and we can talk about the interception call and we
05:37can talk about whatever sean mcdermott didn't do right i don't know what that is but whatever he
05:41didn't do right but i can break this game down to two plays all right not non-interceptions non-fumbles
05:48the second down play in overtime and the uh essentially last play of regulation where he
05:55misses a wide open dalton kickade to win the game right that's it the conversation stops right there
06:01put it online josh allen cost the buffalo bills a trip to the afc championship game against sinning
06:09the patriots josh allen has now cost sean mcdermott his job and by the way i thought sean mcdermott
06:17should have been fired two years ago when he decided to uh reference uh the 9-11 hijackers
06:24in an attempt in a positive way to try to get his team pumped up at halftime of a football game
06:31and on since then i've been suggesting that sean mcdermott should have been fired because he's done
06:37more with less but man that gm should have been fired too yeah like like if you're going to say that
06:42alan doesn't have the supporting cast who picked those players who and he did a poor job picking
06:47them yeah i agree so now the buffalo bills by the way i'll say this i feel bad for bills fans i do i
06:53do too i feel bad for bills fans going to a new stadium next year you know josh allen supposed to
06:58represent an opportunity to win every year and josh allen at times does things the far majority if not
07:04every other quarterback in football cannot do but josh allen came up small josh allen got outplayed
07:11by an average quarterback in bo nicks
07:13you
