00:00Do you agree that Sean McDermott at the press conference made a comment about, you know, Brandon being there and not having the talent that was on the roster?
00:09I think you and I can both say, I mean, you can't have wide receivers that were walking the street four weeks earlier as your number one target.
00:19And Sean McDermott, I mean, this guy would basically just point it out the obvious.
00:24I mean, I think they live in La La Land in Buffalo when they're talking.
00:27And if they think that's a Super Bowl roster, I mean, look, you can't have four turnovers.
00:31There's no doubt about it.
00:33I get that.
00:33But, Joe, I mean, do you agree with the McDermott when it came to whether or not that talent was on that football team?
00:39Oh, absolutely.
00:40I think you have two Ferraris and Josh Allen and James Cook, and you have everybody else.
00:46I mean, they're pedestrian.
00:47You could make the argument, Dan, that some of the players are AFL caliber, UFL caliber.
00:54I mean, Shavers and some of the wide receivers that haven't panned out there.
00:59They got one of the best and more consistent wide receivers last year in Mack Howlands.
01:04They shipped him out and didn't re-sign him.
01:07They have Josh Palmer that came in that never lived up to expectations.
01:11Keon Coleman never panned out to be the pure number one after Diggs left.
01:16And you have Kincaid and Dawson Knox that are good tight ends.
01:19They're certainly not Brock Bowers, Travis Kelsey in their prime.
01:24And, again, when you look at Josh Allen and you look at his ability and you say, okay, we can run the football with James Cook.
01:31But when the game is on the line, we have a pedestrian backup and Brandon Cooks and some of the others.
01:37How can you expect to win an AFC championship when you're not putting a talent around Josh Allen?
01:44And it's very disheartening.
01:46Again, hopefully it changes with the new head coach.
01:49But I don't put any blame on McDermott just saying that.
01:53I think the biggest thing that another reason why maybe McDermott isn't there is he is a defensive-minded head coach.
02:00And it was the defense that did fail this year due to injuries and due to scheme potentially.
02:05So, again, he's deserving of a job.
02:08It's just unfortunate that Buffalo couldn't make it, you know, pass Denver to a potential AFC championship.
