00:38Today we're on the hunt for Min and Henry,
00:41their three beautiful daughters,
00:43and we've landed in the eastern suburbs of Sydney.

00:52We are Vietnamese, and the Chinese know
00:55we live like a big family together, three generations.
00:58I got three little kids, all of them under seven years old.
01:02I got my husband, I got my mother-in-law.

01:34So we try to find the house to make their dream come true.

15:55many of us experience sydney's beautiful beaches on holiday but i wanted to chat with a local about
16:01what it's like to be here all year round it's been a lovely day it's gorgeous but this is your every
16:10day this is my every day every day seven days a week in the pavilion beachfront marubra absolutely
16:17for the last 23 years correct it must feel like an eternal holiday it does feel like an eternal holiday
16:23it's just absolutely beautiful down here on the beach it's really popular with the surface there's
16:27usually 100 or 150 surveys out there on a weekend on a saturday or sunday it's pretty impressive
16:33tell me a little about the business that you guys run here we're open seven days a week for breakfast
16:37and lunch we do stay open the weekends later and we do do cocktails here in the afternoons when it's
16:42a nice day in the afternoon which is really nice to sit out here in the open air sun's shining go for
16:47a swim come back have a cocktail it's beautiful so what's changed around these parts since you came here
16:5423 years ago oh look there's free parking which is great free parking i know unheard of right i can
16:59believe it anywhere nowhere else is there's free parking but don't tell the council that please
17:04there's a kids playground now which is amazing so it's very kid friendly first set every month
17:08there's markets down here as well so it just makes it a community and that and that you've got some
17:14pretty fancy neighbors just up the coastline here yeah why would you pick maruba over any of those
17:20it's just the the people it's the people that come here and it's not as well known so you know you
17:26don't get a huge crowd here but it's a beautiful spot it really is life's a beach life is a beach
17:32that's what we call it it's right there on the menu for you everyone have a look well i might just have

18:17we saw house number one was there koji very close to the beach there that sort of traditional california
18:22bungalow up the front lots of traditional features lots of character yeah and then that sort of
18:28modern terrarian maze that weaved up to the fairy garden at the top my girls see they like the the
18:37fairy tale backyard but the stay is not really good for my mom yes and now we have to do a lot of the
18:43renovation for that one not house one house number two big modern home it had the pool and it had that
18:53a single level living with all the bedrooms upstairs making it more functional i suppose for a family
18:59that's a perfect house for our family with the three kids but we still need to do a lot of the job for
19:05in the the big balcony we do we need to do some the plan in the balcony okay so we're down to house
19:12number three which is just around the corner here from maroeba beach everything is beautiful for that
19:18one yes there's good design good finish so have you decided on any of the homes for your family so
19:29because the number three that's a duplicate side that's the only one reason we we don't choose that
19:35one uh but we found the lane we're gonna view up the our dream homes we got a lot of idea from the
19:42own house you do after the tour yeah yes um we're gonna build up our dream house well that is very
19:50very exciting and it has to be perfect if this is your forever home you need to have everything that
19:55you want without having to do the work yes you can tick things off the list and point to the builders
